| | | PoA Soundtrack receives Grammy Nomination
The Grammy Nominations for this year have been announced. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban has received a nomination in the category of "Best Score Soundtrack Album from a Motion Picture, Televison, or Other Visual Media."
This particular score, which was composed by John Williams, faces competition from The Return of the King, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Big Fish, and Angels in America (which starred Emma Thompson who plays Professor Trelawney in PoA).
The Grammy's will be held and presented on February the 13th 2005 and will air on CBS at 8pm (EST).
Well deserved and long overdue congratulations goes out to our favourite composer, John Williams!

John Williams is a brilliant composer. Everything I have heard of his is wonderful. I really hope he wins, but is up against stiff competition-LOTR Howard Shore. I'm not sure whose I love the most though because they are both wonderful.

I hope he wins, it is the best harry potter soundtrack. I liked how all the songs were different, unlike the first score which all sounded like extensions of hedwigs theme.

Shouldn't LOTR be over? It feels like they were already nominated last year? But HP is a funner soundtrack i think.

I'm glad it did. It really was the best HP soundtrack yet. I think it deserved the nomination. Let's hope it wins.
