Emma Watson is reportedly considering the lead role in a St. Trinian’s comedy film, which centers around rather risqué, trouble-making girls at a boarding school. Ealing Studios recently bought the rights to the series (which began in the ‘50s) and has secured Rupert Everett to star as the school’s cross-dressing headmistress. Quote:
Emma has agreed in principle to star, pending final approval of the script, which is still undergoing re-writes. She thinks it will be a lot of fun and a good stepping stone away from the world of Harry Potter.

I was wondering when she was going to do something else too. Rupert did a movie, Daniel is doing a play. so "Cheers" to her. I hope she nails it. Though it might be hard for some of us to see her as a bad girl. We are all use to the nice, sweet, no it all. of course we all love her for it. She is one of my fav. ones on the movies. She IS Hermione. Up one side and down the other. So lets hope she is also a good bad girl too.

this is just great all our beloved charactors are finding their feet in the entertainment industrie, all that i do hope for though is that our beloved trio stick it out till the end of the HP series as Hp would not be the same if any of them should leave and be replaced by another actress or actor who we are not fimiliare with, cant wait to see her in her new role but pray that she stays our beloved hermy till the end of the 7th HP movie

It sounds funny especially with Rupert doing the headmistress, but nowadays the things girls get up to at boarding school they couldn't show to under 18's! I don't know if this will work unless they are setting it in the 50's in that case it may. Good for Emma for trying something new any way.
