Our favorite author J.K. Rowling has updated her site as a Christmas treat! Among the updates are some words about Book 7: Quote:
For 2006 will be the year when I write the final book in the Harry Potter series. I contemplate the task with mingled feelings of excitement and dread, because I can't wait to get started, to tell the final part of the story and, at last, to answer all the questions (will I ever answer all of the questions? Let's aim for most of the questions); and yet it will all be over at last and I can't quite imagine life without Harry.

That's great that she's starting a diary. I agree with her I can never seem to keep a diary. lol. I hope she had a very Happy Christmas and I love how she decorated her website for the holidays.

I couldn't love her more! She really reaches out to her fans and readers! She's such a beautiful person, inside and out!
LOL I love her site! I can't wait for the Final book and I understand her mixed feeling to a point. I don't know what it will be like after the final book, movie and the end of all that wonderful antisipation. I'm definately lining up @ midnight for book 7!

I feel the same way about book seven! When it comes out, I'll do nothing but read it. Then when I'm done, there's not another book to wait and watch out for!! Maybe JKR will write an eighth book to summerize everything, at least, I hope she does.

JK's site is okay but needs to be more interactive. The portkeys are fun, and it would be great to be able to open the door and find something like trivia from the books etc.
Looking forward to book 7 as well! Will be sad that that the series is over, but we'll still have movies 5-7 (hopefully) and fanfiction after all!
