| | J.K.Rowling quote in Glamour Magazine
The October issue of Glamour Magazine has featured a quote from J.K.Rowling talking about Harry Potter's love life.
JK is quoted as saying,
"Because of the demands of the adventure Harry is following, he has had less sexual experience than boys of his age might have had."
A scan of the piece can be seen here.

I don't think I'd like to read about that in the books, so I'm glad he's been "distracted."
No, Ottery, Emma didn't tip me off on this one

Hogwarts RPG Name: Elijah Wilde Graduated | Farmer Carter | | Ama's Secret I didn't really expect him to have because its not commonly known to be placed in books most times, and HP is just filled with gobsmacking fantasy and plots you don't think of the love life of the characters really. Unless you are a major shipper of course

Well that isn't really important. I really loved the books, but if they have a bit of romance I wouldn't mind! |

It's better not to be in there any ways. This is about Harry defeating Voldemort, not Harry's sexcapades. LOL

That's funny actually! I never thought of him that way. I guess saving the world gets in the way of one's love life though!

yeah, that's true. I like the Hp romance but too much of it gets kind of *BARF!* Especially the R/L shipping.

Ive always wanted it to be as much about relationships and stuff as possible but i must take into account the fact that its a book for all ages, and thats just not her strong point.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Fiona Renée Oliveraux | I wish, for Harry's sake, that he'd had a bit more experience with girls, but what does it really matter? He's saving the world, and I think that's a good enough thing to sacrifice a bit of snogging for.

Well, we know Harry's had at least 2 naughty dreams -- one of which made him glad Ron wasn't a legilimens! So there are some hints there. Plus those hours down by the lake with Ginny. In HBP it said something like they'd talk about the Quidditch Match, if they had time So Harry does get some loving but it's nothing too graphic. Just innuendos which the children wouldn't understand anyway so no harm's done |

| I think indirectly JK has added some hints about boys and girls getting into some kind of physical contact (I don’t want to elaborate since I don’t know who’s reading this board, but I hope you now what I mean), like when Ron and Lavander were looking for an empty classroom...mmm what do you think they were going to do??? Study? Don’t think so!!! |

They wanted to snog. hehe. But yeah I think, if I remember rightly, Fred and George have made some suggestive comments in the past. There are small hints there; small enough to be seen by us but be missed by the kiddies.
