A few years back, J.K. Rowling
said that some of her post-Harry Potter stories included a couple of children's tales, and one with a more political theme. This weekend, the author took to Twitter to reveal that the story has now been scrapped, unfortunately.
This is what Rowling said nearly four years ago regarding the children's book:
Quote:
"I have a lot of things on my laptop currently, including a couple of things for children - for a slightly younger age group than Harry Potter was aimed at - which are nearly done and will, I think, be the next thing I publish. I have run them by my children and they seem to like them which is always a good sign.
"I also have some ideas for another book for adults but it isn't too far on [in development]."
She also gave a few teasers about what's to come in the future Cormoran Strike mystery novels, post Career of Evil. As of yet, there is no word on when the fourth installment of the series will be released, or what it will be called.
