*cringes at the sight of Hilary Duff....cough*
Erm yeah, well of course HBP is the most anticipated book of the summer! I think it's the most anticipated book of the year! Is it safe to say the most anticipated book in history? Because seriously, I doubt there has ever been a book which has had the same number of pre-orders.

Hmmm......... I guess you're right. I've never seen anyone this excited about a book before. More people talked about this book than the Hilary Clition bio. Which is actually a good thing.

Well I suppose if you came over here, you'd get people who'd put their nose up in the air and exclaim something like "Harry Potter? Please! That's a book for little kids!"
It's embarassing sometimes to think that we're probably one of the few countries where Harry Potter hasn't really exploded. Sure there are fans, myself included undoubtedly , but there isn't the great furore you get in foreign countries. |

That's true!

We spent time here. We made friends here. That's a part of us.
Cause Hogwarts is bigger than any of us, of any of it's founders,
and it's going to be around long after we're gone.
Maybe we'll see our kids come here one day.
That's the thing about Hogwarts.
No matter how long you're away from it, there's always a way back. |

i feel that way too i mean i get made fun of all the time because i like harry potter i have like the books since i was 13 and now i am 17 in america people like harry potter but it is no way like japan or england . over here in america it is like u put ten people in a room and u find one out of ten people who like the books and films. for an example i was reading the last 2 chapters of ootp and my sister ask me what was my favorite chapter was and i told her which is the lost prophacey(horrible speller sorry). and when i open the book i found that she wrote her name and drew all over my favorite chapter because she hates harry potter that much. i just wish that more people will understand that the books are good and dont deal with evil that is also another thing alot people think the books are evil and that they brain wash us (so what my mother says) but peole are to dumb to even read the books it just like that saying u cant judge a book by its cover but people tend to so on that count i just want to conclude i wish there were more fans in the america just like england and japan.

Nice!!!!
arl and cherabela I so agree w/ you!!!! I am 19 and some people are like you have got to be kidding me, but I really don't care what they think!!! Plus one of my friends that gives me the most crap is into the Powerpuff Girls so she has no room to talk, I just try not to tell people how much I like it. She wrote in your HP book, ohhhh I would have been throwing things!!! And w/ the evil thing that is such a load, no where in this book, or by reading it has it made me want to warship some dark force or something, people just need to get a life and work on real problems that are in the world, and leave us to our book. That’s my two cents on the whole thing.
*Laguna Beach....... oh he is so hot.

My sister is 10 and she's always telling me hey what page is this on and what page is that on. And most the time I can get it within 5 pages or so. But when I got my copy of OotP she tossed it into the pool cause I wouldn't let her pull the slide up to it and slide into the pool. I was so upset. I cried for days. I was 16 at the time. My mom made her buy me a new copy with her weekend money...lol... I was so Happy. Now I hide my books behind in my room that now has a lock and key. So she'll never get in.

HBP is defidently on the top of my to-do list. in fact, for my bday a few days ago, my grandpa got me this ticket to a Magic Midnight thing, on the 15, the day before it comes out, and i'm gonna go to that, but he also got a reservation on the book for me. i'm soooo exited. he also threw in there a 20$ gift card to Borders, thats where the party adn all is held. i'm sooo exited! the book is defidently on the top. Harry Potter always is!
