| | |  Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban wins BAFTA's First Light film of the decade
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was awarded the BAFTA's First Light film of the decade, as chosen by fans from around the world. The award was given out during Tuesday's First Light Movie Awards in London, where producer David Heyman received the accolades on behalf of everyone involved from the series. Those who presented Heyman the award were Harry Potter's Clémence Poésy and British actor Tom Hiddleston. A photo of the three, with Heyman holding the award, can be found in our galleries.  Quote:
[Heyman] said, "It's especially exciting and moving to be voted Film of the Decade by children aged five to 15.
"We made the film for children of all ages from 5 to 105 really, but clearly a core part of our audience is young people and to be honoured is a privilege."
Clémence commented on her final day of filming Deathly Hallows: Part II, during the ceremony. Quote:
She said: "I remember my last day of shooting which was the last day for a lot of people, and some of them had been there for more than 10 years, so it really became very emotional."

POA is my favorite Movie! (OK maybe DH part1 is also my favorite and so is DH the book but really DH is in class of it's own beyond the other 6 anyway, right?) The music in POA deserved an oscar, just beautiful. cinematography Beautiful. Harry flying Buckbeak Beautiful. (think about it, we don't see Harry that happy very often) Well done time travel and of course Expecto Patronum! Yes, It should have explained the marauders the map and the stag better but it is still an excellent film!
