The rehearsal script for the London production of
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was shortlisted and nominated for this year's British Book Awards: Books Of The Year, in the Best Children's Book category. The ceremony will take place on May 8th at the Grosvenor House, Park Lane in London.

J.K. Rowling received the nomination along with playwright Jack Thorne, and director John Tiffany. This is not the first time the author has been recognized for these awards, as Rowling won Book of the Year back in 2006 for her sixth novel,
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and again in 2008 for Outstanding Achievement after the release of
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
