As it is past midnight in the UK, today, Tuesday August 24th marks actor
Rupert Grint's 22nd birthday. All
Harry Potter fans know Rupert as playing Harry's loyal, courageous, hilarious, and faithful best friend and sidekick Ron Weasley in the film series, from when he started at the age of 12 in
Sorcerer's Stone to having completed the two-part
Deathly Hallows this past June.
Rupert, born Rupert Alexander Lloyd Grint, has starred in several films outside the
Harry Potter series, including
Cherrybomb, which was just released this Monday on DVD in the UK,
Wild Target,
Driving Lessons, and
Thunderpants. Rupert
told SnitchSeeker earlier today in London that in addition to the upcoming Eddie the Eagle biopic, he has several projects possibly in line for next year.

EmmaRiddle gave Rupert a bag full of birthday presents on behalf of all of SnitchSeeker earlier today in London. Emma said he looked rather touched by the sentiment.
