Business Wire reports that nearly 5 million copies of the ' Goblet of Fire' DVD were sold in the US on the first day of release. Quote:
"We're extremely pleased with the out-of-the-gate success of the DVD release of 'Goblet of Fire'," said Ron Sanders, President, Warner Home Video. "We knew fans really connected with this installment in the Harry Potter series, and that continued loyalty to the franchise has carried over to these phenomenal DVD sales figures."

For some reason I like knowing that I was one of those 5 million... hehe And man, talk about amazing. If you average the DVD costing about 22 dollars at 5 million copies sold, that's like 110 million bucks in the first day... all that money to everyone involved in that DVD and HP. Wow.

For those of you in the U.K. or any country where the DVD hasn't been released yet, if you can afford it get the special edition. All that's on the single disc is the movie period which is great but the interviews and the extra scenes are worth the extra cost of special edition.
