A few days ago we got in touch with Hamilton Hodell, the agency that represents Shirley Henderson, who plays Moaning Myrtle in the Harry Potter films. It has been confirmed to us that the character hasn't made it into Half-Blood Prince. Quote:

Every thing we've heard so far is how different from the book the HBP movie will be. No Scrimgeour, Fleur, Bill, v. little Tonks & now Myrtle? There's no Scrimgeour? I just wanted to add that some of the other HP movies have been rated PG-13, so there is no reason for them to cut the Sectumsempra scene out for the rating purpose; once you've gone so far, there's no need to go back. So I doubt they will cut that scene out; it's far too good & important of a scene. :/ So yeah.

When they interviewed Draco, he said the script pretty much was the same thing as the book...........
