The Haverhill Paperboard, in Bradford, Massachusetts, turns recycled paper into book covers, specifically the one for Deathly Hallows, however it appears people are not recycling enough newspapers and computer paper to keep up with the demand. Quote:
"We're struggling to get 250 tons of that a day in here to keep us going," Chappell said of the drop in local recycling, which contributes a portion of that daily.
Joseph Michaud, Haverhill Paperboard's vice president of marketing service, said his company is not the exclusive supplier of Harry Potter book covers, but "a big portion will be ours," he said.
So, if you want book 7, get recycling! It not only benefits the environment, but fandom as well!

Im really glad they use recycled paper for the cover.Its great for the enviroment.:tree: And now we dont have to feel guilty when we get a new book.I hope they use recycled paper for the actual book,because it is really long and the make millions upon millions of them

Yeah, hp is earth friendly! Awesome! I knew it was printed on recycled paper, but i didnt know the covers where made of recycled materials too!

"Green" sounds good. We really should be more aware of our planet and recycling. Then again, I'm a bit of an earth muffin... But I really do think that people should recycle more often and watch how much garbage they throw away. Personally, I absolutely love that the HP books have been made out of recycled paper.
