Scammers are sending out letters promising casting auditions for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince – for a fee. According to the U.K. paper The Huddersfield Daily Examiner: Quote:
Letters arrive on what appears to be official Warner Brothers stationery and say you have been chosen for a casting opportunity to appear in Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince.
It all sounds very exciting and genuine: and then they ask for £723 for acting tuition to coach you for the part which, of course, simply doesn't exist.

How pathetic. These people should stop fooling around and get a real life. They shouldn't play with others' dreams and ambitions.
