Alec Hopkins reprises young Snape role in Half-Blood Prince
In a recent interview, actor Alec Hopkins confirmed that he will be back to reprise his role as young Severus Snape in
Half-Blood Prince ; he mentions that his scenes consist of being part of moving photos throughout the sixth film.
Alec also spoke about his role in
Order of the Phoenix , specifically his disappointment at having his scenes cut down to a matter of seconds shown through a montage of Snape's memories. The video can be viewed below (note: he was joking about the
Snapes on a Plane movie):

He plays an important role in OOTP, but the film can only be so long and they cut what they feel they must. He has important parts to play in the next two movies and I look forward to seeing him again!

hahahaha Snape's on a plane!!! that is sooo funny. I think he did a wonderful acting in OOtP, it was a shame they didn't let the whole part ran as it was supposed to be

Snape's on a Plane . I loved that part.
I hope we'll get to see him in the last one too. I was also disappointed that we didn't get to see much of him in OOTP, after they took so long to film that whole memory bit. Can't wait to see him in HBP!
