I do think that it is Dumbledore too. I suppose it isn't just down to how much magic you know and what you can do, but also knowing your strengths and weaknesses and being able to work on them. Voldemorte was recognised in the books as being the greatest dark wizard, but he was so arrogant he doesn't recognise the weaknesses he has and he underestimates the powers and strengths others have. That is going to be his downfall.

I think that Harry is the, or will, become the most powerful wizard because he can Love and like ndebic and others have said LV is too arrogant for his own good and having all the horcruxes he thinks has made him immortal and that will be part of his downfall and Snape he is powerful but i still think Harry is more powerful or will become more powerful

I vote Harry. Think of how many other mothers, or fathers for that matter, that would have died protecting their children from Voldemort and whose children still died. Harry can't have survived just on Lily's love right? It doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Yes Dumbles is powerful, and knows his stuff, but I think the reason Voldy fears him so much is because Dumbledore knows so much about him. Dumbledore taught Riddle, he knew Riddle. That and Dumbledore defeated Grindle...whatever his name is.

Harry is the most powerful wizard as he is the boy who ever lived but not powerful than dumbledore but as dumbledore is not alive now i prefer harry.

You said wizard in your title, so I'd have to agree with everyone else and say Dumbeldore, but if you were also including witches in that I'd have to say Lily Potter.

I'm sure everyone would like to think it's Harry but I disagree. he doesn't know that much. He's just an average boy who suffered a terrible misfotrune. You say he's the most powerful because he can love but he's not the only one. A lot of people love. It's not that Harry's the only one who has that power, it's that Voldemort pretty much the only one who can't! And as far as being able to survive the killing curse goes, I think that was all Voldemort, and Lily. Lily's protection and then there's the fact that Harry had no chance of dying because (stop reading here if you haven't read the 7th book yet) the severed part of voldy's soul kept him alive!

but to answer the question I think Dumbledore was.

I think Snape because he was able to work for both sides and get them both to believe he was on there side. He had never had any friends or anyone there to look after him yet he was still there to look after Harry right until the end and it would take a strong person to do that.

Dumbledore Obviously, He defeated Grindelwald and Voldemort was scared of him.

I hate to admit this but Voldermort is the most powerful wizard! He, in my opinion, has way more experience! He is more advanced than Dumbledore.

Yes i doo belive that harry was the most powerful of all the wizards, but i know that it would not have been that way without voldies unwanted help. wheter or not we want to acknowledge it voldie was the man who made Harry such a powerful wizard, yet it was Dumbledore that helped harry realize this power that dwelled within him and it was harrys friends that helped him in is quest to defeat the man who gave him this power in the first place. it can be very confusing and difficult to understand if yu have not thought about it before.

i think that is a tough question to answer as dumbledore and Voldemort are equally as powerful but in different ways thats just my opinion

I think it was Voldemort even though he was scared of Dumbeldore. Voldemort did magic, and Dumbeldore admitted it that he himself could never do. I'd like to say Dumbeldore but it's really Voldemort.

Hmm, I'm going to say Dumbledore. He knew where to draw the line when it came to experimenting, (most of the time anyway). But on the other hand, Voldemort tried and succeeded in dark magic that no one else had. But I'm still going with Dumbledore.
