CHAPTER 11

"I caught them red handed.." Blah blah blah "...They were kissing!!" Blah blah blah "That Mudbloo.."

Draco whipped round to face Pansy, his face angry

"Dont you dare call Hermione a mudblood" He spat at her.

He was annoyed with her stories, he could tell she was making them up. He stood and walked away

"You'll be sorry you picked her over me" Pansy called after him, some students turned from there conversations to stare at her.

Draco ignored her and walked out, away. He sighed, she wouldnt do that, would she? He asked himself sitting down on the damp grass outside the school. The low-set sun was shiny its rays across the lawn, birds were flying high over the forbbiden forest. Seeing them Draco automaticlly though of the first time he had gone in there, his first year. He had wanted to get the trio into trouble, whilse accidently landing himself in it too. He hadnt liked Hermione then, he couldnt think why.

"Hey" Someone said quitely behind him. Hermione sat down next to him, pulling her legs to her chest, laying her head on her legs. She began to pull little grass shreads from the ground, while not looking at Draco.

"Hey, you ok?" He asked, slightly concerned, moving a little closer to her.

"We have to talk Draco" She replyed quitely, finally looking at him, he stopped in his tracks.

"If its about that rumour Pansy is trying to tell me, well i dont believe it!"

Hermione's eyes looked less troubled, but she spoke

"It-it wasn't a lie, it-it did happen. And-and Pansy did catch us..." She gulped before rushing into her next sentence,

"I didnt want it to happen, he just kissed me, i-i couldnt...I-i didn't..." she was unable to finish her sentence, tears wer running down her cheeks, she gave a small sob.

Draco pulled her into his arms, and cradled her, "Its ok Hermione" Was all he said.

"Arnt you mad? Arnt you going to finish it"

More tears fell from her eyes, she quickly whipped them away and stood up. Looking at him once she ran back towards the castle.

"I would never" Draco replyed watching her go, he didnt shout it, he didnt run after her. He too put his head in his lap and watched the grass again, thinking.

"Draco, i wasn't lieing you know" Pansy purred in his ear, sitting down next to him, resting her head on his shoulder. He pulled away, standing up.

"Leave me alone" Pansy stood.

"Draco when are you going to see that she's nothing, that its destiny for us to be together" She breathed in his ear

"Leave me alone Pansy, we were never anything, and we never will"

Pansy smiled smugly,

"Do you want me to tell your father about your lovely little thing with a mudblood?"

"Leave her alone"

His mind was racing, what his father might do to him if he found out, what he'd do to Hermione. He shivered.

"Think it over, i know your choose the right person"

She kissed him lightly on the cheek and walked away. He fell to the floor, tears in his eyes, he couldnt let anything happen to her, he loved her. There was only one thing he needed to do, end it.

oh that Pansy Parkinson! She is such a blackmailer!!!good one...pams when you can...

All this stories when Pansy blackmails Draco to separate from the one he loves. Ugghhhhhh! I want to murder her. Do you mind if I do? I love it as always, I feel so bad for Draco and Hermione..

Draco asked quitely, Slightly touching her arm, She turned to face him, a smile on her face. All seemed forgotten about her crying. Draco could feel Pansy's eyes baring into the back of his head, it was very iritating.

"Can we go for a walk?" He asked, looking towards the ground, only one thing was on his mind. His father.

"Sure" She said happly.

She slipped her hand into his, leding the way. He wanted so much to keep hold of the hand, spin her around and off her feet. To kiss her passionatly on the lips. He did none of these. Instead he withdrew his hand and put them in his pockets, Hermione looked at him quizzenly. They carryed on walking, stopping short of the giant lake.

"Are you alright Draco"

She asked kindly, bending to pull grass from the ground. He watched her, seeing her hair gleaming in the low sunset, how her hand brushed over stray grass strands. How she stood and brushed her legs down for grass. How she moved her eyes from her legs to his face, serching.

He took all this is, breathing deeply, He couldn't do it, but he needed to. To save her. But How. He nodded.

"Im sorry Hermione, but im breaking up with you. I just dont love you anymore"

He was surprised at how his voice didnt shake. He searched her face hungerly,
waiting for the outburst, the tears. All of which didn't come. She nodded her head once, stepping forward to kiss him once on the cheek and turned and walked away. No words spoken.

Draco watched her leave, tears in his eyes, he couldn't believe he had done it, all to save her life, but he hated himself.

"Draco.."

Draco yanked himself away from her, whiping his mouth as he went.

"What was that for?" He asked angerly, glaring at her.

"Well now you go rid of that Mudblood.." "Don't call her a mudblood!" "...Fine, now you got rid of her, we can finally be together" She smiled

"Just because me and Hermione are not together anymore, doesn't me we are. I ended it for her" He turned and stormed off, leaving Pansy on her own.

Hermione gasped from her hiding place, tears were rolling down her cheek. She quickly whipped them away and stood up. She had stormed off, not saying a word to him, not wanting for him to see her cry, to see she was weak. She had waited till she was a saf distance away before she let the tears fall. She coldn't believe it was true, no, she couldn't believe Harry and Ron were right. She had just prepared herself to go find them, tell them, even she she didn't want to. But she say Her, Pansy Parkinson, walking towards him, She needed to see. She had followed.

Hermione now found herself walking back towards the castle, happy that Draco still loved her, Sad that they weren't together any longer. But also confused. What had he meant? She pounded on the thought, almost walking in Ron. He grabbed her shoulders to steady her.

"Whoa, 'Mione. You alright?" He asked looking into her eyes.

"Im fine Ron"

"Then why are there tears in your eyes?"

She sighed, "You were right Ron, Draco ended it..", She couldn't keep it from them.

"I knew it, that Weasel!"

"No, wait Ron, I followed Pansy when she went to go talk to him, What i heard was confusing." She shook her head at the memory. She need to speak to him.

"Look Ron, lets go find Harry, then talk. But i need to Speak to Draco" She took his hand and pulled him towards the Gryffindor common room.

EDIT! I just had a thought, im my VM, i said 'Its Finished!!' Just so you guys dont get scared...the story is NOT over yet!
