What's a festival without delicious lunches, tempting afternoon teas, and revitalizing refreshments? Located in the premises of the festival, the food and refreshment venue offers a great service for visitors during the event. Here you'll find food vendors and small booths providing all kinds of festival food from sandwiches and salads to sweets and tasty drinks.

You may buy what you need from one of those vendors and booths, and then take it to the rest spot for a slow and nice mealtime. Or you can hang around the food venue while munching on that delicious sandwich, maybe an interesting someone will pass by. We recommend you finish whatever you're buying quickly on the way to your next station of fun, though!

Girl were totally okay cos they admired his hair. Guys just got jealous.

Paulie released a sigh. "This is true." Aspen Odessa. It was even almost impossible just to say 'Aspen.' Wise of him to keep that deduction to himself..? Heh. "Well...." A guilty grin crept up on him. "I didn't exactly keep that bit to myself." Oops. Actually, he even dragged Brazil Nut into it somehow in an attempt to rile Aspen up even more. He didn't remember what exactly he had said, but it was insulting. And also false.

Joao turned the attention around on him now. What was he up to? "I'm at UCLA now, in the states. The air force is payin' for my uni." He nodded. He also neglected to say that he had been enjoying the party scene to the point where the air force was threatening to pull his funds. Only now, at the last minute, was he buckling down to change this, thanks to some help from Helen of Hogwarts herself.

He leaned forward, rested his elbows just above his knees. A thought popped in his head and it left his mouth almost immediately after. "They oughtta do a Hogwarts reunion or alumni thing one day." Maybe in a year or two..

How about the bald spot on that bloke's head? It was sort of shiny and...WHY was he staring at the bald spot on someone's head? It reminded him of LeoBALD and that was just more awkward. On the drinks? No, that just made his throat more dry.

"I am!" he exclaimed, giving his friend, er, colleague, er...yes, giving her two thumbs up. "You should try your hand at some of the games. I won something over at the Plimpy Bowl Toss."

Before Airey could react to her inquiry about what he won at the plimpy bowl toss, Medea had asked him about something that he had been hoping she would. Or, well, anyone really. It wasn't just something he had been hoping Medea would talk to him about. Not that he didn't want her to talk to him because he enjoyed speaking with him. She just understood his fascination and appreciation of muggle things so she would appreciate his tale of awe and not judge him. So that did make her special.

Er...what had she asked him again? OH RIGHT! He teeth!

"You like?" he grinned. "Cece didn't have the time to fix them at Hogwarts, so I went to one of those muggle dencherist." Wait...that wasn't right. "I mean dentists. I went to a muggle dentist and he put in a pair of fake teeth." GRIN.

Yep, she knew that Ryan's hair was real but she also liked to give him a hard time cause that's what Cats and Ryans did, they gave each other a hard time and then complimented on their hair. Which meant it was HER turn. "Mine's soft too, probably softer than yours." She flipped her hair off of her shoulder, "Go on, you can touch it if you want." He SO wanted to.

She glanced at the line and watched all the people. "So you buying food? I like food. They have good sandwiches here."

A very girly giggle escaped and Cat grinned some more. She totes won the soft hair contest and that was a great victory, it was indeed. Though she was certain that sometimes Ryan just played along with her. She wasn't about to call him out on it though, she liked being the winner.

West was DOWN for food, all food, but honestly, where was all the greasy stuff and stuff on sticks and greasy stuff on sticks? He looked around, totally disappointed.

Oh? Paulie actually talked while she was trying out her Auror skills? João raised his eyebrows and looked into Paulie's eyes questioningly, but he didn't ask it out loud. It would make him look too curious, and he didn't want to be too curious about Paulie. ~~João was better than that.~~

UCLA... João had a vague idea of the full name of the school, but he also knew it was a popular school, so he didn't ask that either. The air force though, it caught his full attention, and he frowned in confusion.

"You're going to be a pilot?" He blinked, opened his mouth to ask the reasons, but caught himself at the last moment. It was Paulie's life. He shouldn't question. Maybe Paulie would tell the reasons... hopefully; because João couldn't see why someone magical would choose to do a muggle job.

That made João thoughtful too, and for a moment he stopped wondering about Paulie's reasons. "Yeah, it'd be nice." He paused. "We still can arrange a meeting somewhere, though." Just a thought.

"Why? The stuff here's fine. And I already know what I want." If he made her wait for food a minute longer, Alice was going to collapse of starvation. The fifteen year old was famished.

She gave West's side a squeeze. "Pick something?"

Ethan listened a bit as the other boy touched on some summer highlights so far. "Sounds like you've been having a great summer.. What's Disney like?" He had heard about it before, but never actually been there. Might have to be one of those places to visit one day. And and internship sounded cool.. especially at a place like QQS. "Working at the Quidditch shop.. sweet. I'll have to come in to buy something and put you to work," he joked. "No, that's cool.. I did an internship at the Owl Post Office a couple summers ago.. But this summer is a bit more relaxing. I did busy the last two, I just want to enjoy it before Uni." Not that he didn't enjoy the last couple, they were fun-filled.. this was just a different kind of enjoyment, he supposed. "Just doing stuff with Min around Heidelberg and working in my greenhouse.. there's a castle festival I want to take her to next week.."

As Wade saw Ethan approaching, he could see the many bundles he was carrying. "That's a lot of stuff you got there." It was really no biggie for Wade to make some room for him and his food and gifts. So Ethan hasn't ridden the hippogriff yet, "It's a little hard adjusting, but it's like riding a broom once you get the hang of it." He beamed since it was truth stuff, after all. Oh, we? Guess that means him and Minnie mouse. "The dragon?" His brows furrowed as thoughts went to the rumoured nickname of their Potions Professor Lafay. Hehe, cue reason for Wade trying not to imagine the thought. "That sounds cool, me and Indy haven't gone on the carousel yet. Just spent time petting the animals in the little zoo area." Especially the cute and fluffy llamas. Wade tilted his head slightly as it looked like Ethan was experiencing some nostalgia. "I know exactly what you mean.. Some of my favorite ones were at the old beach I use to go to before moving."

Honestly, to Wade this has been the best summer ever. Even more so, the real fun was just beginning before school started. He smiled when asked about Disney, "It's massive.. I bet a couple Hogwarts schools could fit itself in there with there being so much to do. There are a lot of rides, water parks.. oh, and some mascots running about there.. they make our onesie pjs seem like water wear." Ethan putting Wade to work, heh. That was funny to him, as he laughed before replying, "It's not bad, work out-wise, since they have me doing the labour moving and unpacking the boxes of supplies before stocking them." Hmm? The Owl Post. "Oh yeah? How was it, That was actually one of the shops I was thinking of applying at." Not that Wade was regretting where he was Interning at. On contrary, he kind of liked the grunt work, and was merely curious on how things were ran there. Even brighter side to working was the appreciation on relaxing. "Yeah.. it's only fitting that we get another chance to have some fun before school." As bittersweet as that was.

Pick something? It didn't matter because it was all healthy stuff. The sort of stuff Mo's mum would feed him with and all.

Text Cut: Medea & Airey

Leaving Abraham in one of the comfy chairs at the Rest Spot, Leo ambled his way through the festival crowd until he came to the Refreshment’s area some minutes later. Maybe he should get an ice tea instead he contemplated as he headed over the nearest free vending machine. Sticking his hand in his right trouser pocket to pull out his wallet he found none.

Searching around in his pocket again to no success Leo felt the panic start to creep up his spine. Feeling around in all his other pockets with the same result Leo let out a loud angry gasp before a long string of words that shouldn’t be heard by young ears left his mouth.

He had been ROBBED!

Letting his eyes drift over the people in the refreshment’s area he wondered if one of them was responsible for stealing his wallet. Or if it had been stolen earlier, in any case he needed to find a law enforcement worker and file a stolen wallet report. His day had in one whisk gone from lovely to well less so.
First he needed to buy Abraham some coffee and he couldn’t do that without money. Looking around he spotted Airey not too far away talking to Medea.

Maybe they could help him out? Eyes a little wide eyed he made his way over to the two his facial expression anything, but happy as he addressed Airey. "You wouldn’t have happened to have seen a thief run by here by any chance?"

Leo was so angry he could explode.

Probably because his dad had been the one to spark his interest in all that sort of stuff back when Paulie was a kid. Not that Brazil Nut was aware of this, but it made sense to Paulie.

He nodded along with this. If Hogwarts wasn't going to give them a reunion, they could probably get something together on their own. "True." Maybe in a year or two, give everyone a little more time to get some stuff in their lives straightened out. COUGHpaulieCOUGH.

Probably because his dad had been the one to spark his interest in all that sort of stuff back when Paulie was a kid. Not that Brazil Nut was aware of this, but it made sense to Paulie.

He nodded along with this. If Hogwarts wasn't going to give them a reunion, they could probably get something together on their own. "True." Maybe in a year or two, give everyone a little more time to get some stuff in their lives straightened out. COUGHpaulieCOUGH.

RAF. Wow. João kept looking at him in shock right before he mentioned his father. He nearly scoffed at him--he didn't only because he didn't want Paulie to get angry or offensed. So that was his reason? That his father was a pilot? Please. He was a Gryffindor alright, but he shouldn't be that sentimental.

"Is it--does it offer jobs for wizards or will you act muggle?" He was still trying to understand it. It'd be shame if Paulie just... rejected his magical ability. But it also encouraged his own thoughts about wizard involvement in countries' affairs. Just how many wizards chose a muggle profession?

"So you won't return to British Ministry." It was more of a statement, but Paulie was welcome to elaborate.

They looked so REAL. Noticeable, but real. Keep smiling Airey so she could stare!

Leo was so angry he could explode.

Seriously considering poking one the teeth to see if they even felt the same as they did look the same, her impulse to do so was thankfully faltered by another man. Maybe not as thankful as she should've been though. Oh dear Merlin...

Despite having relaxed after the topic of games and teeth came up, she automatically tensed. Glancing from gentleman to gentleman, she started to fidget. Today was not a good day to come here. A thief though, she could focus on. How simply terrible! For whatever reason!

"Oh dear...." Though it did give her the chance to seem busy by looking around. Everywhere. Everywhere but at the two men.

She gave his nuzzling nose a little tweak and then wriggled out from under his arm, settling for West's hand instead. "I doubt anyone would mind if you ate junk at school now that Dylan's gone. And I want a hamburger." Those had a little grease on them, didn't they?

"Yeah. A hamburger. Plus an exploding lemonade." Alice dropped the small some of money she had into his free hand. He was paying, so he could order too.

And then after she'd eaten her fill, kisses. Maybe.

"I mind. I want to be the best." Dylan didn't need to be there for West to want to continue on with the stuff he'd learned, even if the new captain didn't bother with any of that, West still would. To a degree at least.

He took the few coins she gave him and squeezed her hand.

"Three hamburgers, one exploding lemonade, and a fruit fiesta juice." Which... "Does that come in large? Can you give me two but just in a bigger cup?" Yes? Awesome. West counted out exact change and then they simply had to wait for their order and he turned to face Alice and gave her puppy!West looks. Not even one little kiss?

Airey was actually rather relieved that Cece hadn't had the time nor the supplies to fix his teeth while still at Hogwarts. He wouldn't have been able to experience the full muggle life style of going to the dentist. It had been somewhat terrifying at the same time, but how many wizards could say that they experience the slow drill and everything else? The cotton balls in his mouth afterwards had been sort of terrible. Not to mention had a terrible taste.

"Well...actually...I don't remember much of it," he said. "They used something that was sort of like the muggle version of a sleeping potion, only it wasn't a potion but a gas. Put me right to sleep," he explained while flashing another smile. "Woke up and BAM, there they were in my mouth. Hurt horribly though and the muggle medicine they gave me was worthless. Poor muggle must have such a HIGH pain tolerance." He had gone to see a Healer to get a Pain Relief Potion so he could at least sleep at night. Helped with the swelling a bit as well.

He was about to answer some more of her questions, but they were unceremonisously interrupted by....

Refraining from cracking any jokes about being blinded by the light reflecting off the other man's head, Airey sort of just stared at him for a moment and tried to keep a straight face. A thief? While that was a HORRIBLE thing to have happen to one at a festival, Airey couldn't help but be glad that he had taken the appropriate measures with his suit pockets. He kept everything in his breast pocket via Undetectable Extension Charm and had just a simple Anti Theft charm in place as well.

LeoBALD should have looked that up in one of his books. Heh.

"What does this thief look like?" he asked instead, keeping a straight face still. What did a thief even look like? Was there some stereotypical image that was supposed to come to his mind right away? Well, HE knew what image did... "Were they wearing all black with a mask like in those muggle films?" Because THAT would make finding him so much easier to spot them in a crowd ~~and be sort of funny~~.

So Medea should stop looking around like that because she wasn't going to spot the thief without a description. Fact.

Text Cut: Medea & Airey

Leo had been enjoying a pretty uncomplicated summer and now THIS happened. He silently cursed his fate once more before he turned his gaze to Medea. Softening his voice slightly he mumbled. "This is just too, too terrible. I thought Diagon Alley was free of thief's." He noted Medea’s tense body language but didn’t think much of it. Leo just wrote it off as compassion for his situation than something else entirely. It didn't cross his mind that Medea could be tense because he had gone over and talked her when she was in the middle of a conversation with Airey.

His attention was diverted to Airey when, the moon and stars man started asking him questions about the thief. Questions he couldn't answer even if he had wanted to. Leo didn't know when the robbery had happened, but he was pretty certain that he had had his wallet in his trouser pocket when he had entered the summer festival. Now he was wallet less and that enraged him. Leo was usually careful too which made this all the more enraging.

Meeting Airey's gaze he struggled to keep his tone soft even though he just wanted to hit something. "No, I didn't see what the thief looked like or what he was wearing." If I did I would be chasing after him/her trying to get my wallet back. "I was having a nice conversation with Abraham over at the rest spot." He paused to gesture with a thumb in the direction of the rest spot. "I didn’t notice that I had been robbed until I came here to buy a coffee for Abraham and an ice tea for myself from one of the booths." Letting his eyes drift over the people walking around them, looking for the thief Leo unconsciously gripped his wand in its holster tightly.

He got a nose wrinkle in response to that correction. Next three. It was decided.

"Well, I'm going to be the best AND eat anything I want." There were limits as to how many chocolate frogs Alexa Cambridge was permitted to consume within Quidditch season, but Alice had no such restrictions for herself.

That extra hamburger. Was that for him? She knew he ate three horses a day or something along those lines, but if he wanted a birthday present next year, West was getting set numbers on how much he was allowed to order when she paid. Pocket money didn't just happen.

Still no kisses, but he did get a hand squeeze and a grin. Now where was her hamburger?
