| | | The Starry Prophesier Some ways down Knockturn alley there is an old cart owned by a romanian gypsy hag. From the cart two wooded steps come down, and there is a table with two ratty chairs on their side. Above the cart a sign hovers that says The Starry Prophesier. It has been said that Madame Hildegard, the old white haired gypsy hag, with green skin who owned the cart was known to have tasted the flesh of children and muggle borns who came to her cart. Her hook nose was punctuated with a large black hairy mole and her yellow eyes can petrify you if you stare at them too long. Here you may purchase all sort of dark magic divination items and be it Palms, Tarots or Runes, this is the place to get your future read. Arkie Alderton's Kwik-Repair Shop and Twilfit and Tattings are just next door and of course, Knockturn Alley has plenty more to offer if you dare. Just as she stepped from her little wagon she saw a man approach. He didn't have the look of the alley but a customer was a customer. "The palm will cost you 9 galleons but the Tarot will cost you 12." They might have been worth more but she was a generous Hag in her old age, or so she would tell everyone. "Which will you be having, Dear?" Dmitry waited patiently for the answer and was shocked when the Roma woman revealed the price. He had thought for sure that it would be more expensive than that. Still, he wasn't going to question the woman on her choice of price. Only a fool would do that. "In that case, I would like a... Tarot reading, please madame."
Now Dmitry could only hope that whatever the reading showed would be good news. He'd already asked though and it would be quite rude to turn around and change his mind now that he'd given an answer just because he decided to get a little worried about whether or not he actually wanted to know part of his future. Dmitry was sure it would be fine though. He'd get his reading, buy the runes for Aleksandr afterwards and then go to the robe shop.

Boney fingers searched through the little boxes within the old wagon until she found her personal deck of tarot cards. These were the ones she was comfortable with and they were the most accurate.
The old hag produced the deck and held it toward the young man. "I'll need you to shuffle this deck, then cut it in half, thinking about the question you'd like to ask while you do. You must think very hard."
And she expected he would put his money on the table. It was common courtesy when dealing with a business transaction.

"How much would a palm reading be?" He looked back over at the Gypsy Hag and smiled his pearly white teeth. Alex wanted to know if there was love in his future... and if this change from Spain to England was a good thing... true Jazz did seem to like him but ya, know... she was gorgeous so she could get any guy she wanted... and he wasnt sure about the whole move thing.

| Oh, how we drift away from our friends. And the ones back home play remember when A black cat entered the store, her eyes scanning for the right assortment of Divination items. Within seconds, the cat has turned back to its witch form. Helena was now dressed in a knee-length black dress. She desired The Witches Tarot Kit, telekinetic enhancer and a Brass dowsing rod set. Helena waited for the shopkeeper to serve her, knowing full well that she might be busy doing readings. |
