Brian looked down at her as she was looking down at her own feet. Due to shyness of didnt like to talk with him?! He had no idea. He shrugged, "No..fault is mine," he raised his hands in the air, in apologetic way. Now she held out her hand, so she was not that much shy. He smiled back, and shook her hand, "Glad to meet you Scarlett," his eyes twinkled, "I'm Brian, welcome to my Level," he paused, "Umm..anything you missed on the floor?" he asked jovially as he saw her always looking down at her feet.

What she said? Was she trying to get to the floor?! Strange. He shook his head, smiling, "So..did you find out?" he asked, trying to help her incase she was new to the Ministry. "May I know in which department are you working?" his voice was cool as usual.

She looked confused. Seemed preoccupied in her mind. He shrugged, "Your department. You said you were trying to get to the floor you wanted," he explained, checking on his cuff buttons again of his dark green stripes shirt. But when she said her department name, Brian's face brightened up immediately. "Law enforcement? Then you must be familiar with Becca..sorry I mean Ms. Rebecca Todd, dont you?" he asked in pure curiosity, "I'm in Maintenance and Security."

Scarlet smiled and walked out of the lift slowly not quite knowing where she was acctually meant to be going.Yeah sure.she looked around the hallway,trying to see if there was any sign posts or anything attached to the doors to tell her where to go.

After having his wand checked Ater walked to the lifts and pushed the button calling it, so he could get in. In a few minutes a chiming sound went of and the doors opened, he entered along with some paper planes, and pushed the shiny 2 in the buttons area, for the Law Enforcement Department. With another musical sound the lift stopped and Ater left the small vehicle you could say, and began looking around for the right department area he needed to be in.

Iain had just come back from having a rather interesting lunch with Lili, and it was with a grin that he stood beside her in the lift on the way back to level five to re-start the work that had to be done. He grinned at Lili a little, and then looked back out of the door towards the Atrium. He pressed the '5' button, and prepared for the journey upwards.

Brian hurried when he saw the lift was just about to start to go down. He had to meet his fellow department head for election purpose. With a parchement folder in his righthand his left hand running through his dirty blonde hair as he took another few steps towards the lift quickly.

Seeing a guy with hands filled with parchments, Iain pushed his hand quickly over one of the buttons to hold the door open. He gave the man a quick grin and a nod. "Which floor do you want?" He asked the man that he'd never seen before.

Brian smiled at the guy who was holding the door for him to get in. "Thanks." was the first word he mouthed before he said, "Third level." he answered quickly, looking at the new person surprisingly. He looked good and polite. There was no crowd, just three people, he, him and a lady too might be accompanied the guy. "Are you new to the ministry?" he asked out of curiosity.

Iain grinned a little as the guy said thanks... Well, at least he had manners. He gave the man another grin and nodded slowly. "Yeah, this is the end of my first week." He told him, as he pressed the '3' button then the '>|<' button to close the door.

Brian watched him answering without any hesitations like other new employees. He must be a different one. "Oh. I thought so," he gave him a friendly grin, "In which department?" he was curious again. Who knows, he may be a good choice for the campaign if he is interested in election and stuffs. He chuckled mildly as he wiped off his face on his shirt. It smelled like her.

He gave the man another smile. "International Co-Operation." He told the man with a grin as he continued, "I am the new Division Head of International Trade." He gave the man a smile. "What about you? Which department are you working in?"

The tall department head nodded his head as he acknowledged, "Good. Soo how was the experience?" he asked with a smile, gently leaned against the lift wall as the lift touched the next level. 7th floor. "I'm in Secruity and Maintenance. Taking all the responsibilities with pleasure as a department head," he said, just now realised that he left her cloak back in his office. But he didnt bother.

Iain smiled at the man. "It's been... interesting. Trying to get my head around it." He grinned at the man again. He liked him, at some point he might need to find him and invite him to the pub for a drink. He seemed like they could have a few decent conversations together. Security and Maintenance... Interesting. "That's cool." Level Six.

"So you must be a good business man," Brian complimented him, gave him another cool smile. By the way he was behaving and answering Brian was quite impressed with this new guy. May be one or two years younger or elder than him. Never mind.

"Aw..no, not really. It's not cool, actually it's a hot seat," his jovial talks had popped in. Level five. He shifted his papers to his right hand, stretching the other one.

Iain laughed. "Thank you very much." He told the tall man. "Haha, I think every department has it's days." He tried to be up-beat, but knew that Magical Maintenance had to be hard-work.

Propping the lift door open with his foot as they opened on level five, he smiled as Liliana walked out of the lift past him. He held his hand out to the man with a cool smile in return. "It was nice meeting you, I hope to see you around." He said with a shake.

Brian stretched his hand out, shaking with his. "Same here, I hope for that," he smiled, let his hand go after that and realised they were not knowing each others name. He was about to ask him. But it was too late. The lift door was closed before he react. Awesome Brian.

"Hold the lift, please!" Brunhild shouted, running as fast as she could. No one seemed to hear, so she drew her wand and pointed it at the door. There was a flash of blinding light, and the doors parted. Brunhild squeezed her way in, ushering her young son ahead of her. "Terribly sorry about that. Bit of a shock, I expect," she said to the startled witches and wizards who were staring at her. "can't be late on my first day."
