Jenkins walked over to Abilee. He hadn't talked to her in a few days and he wanted to talk to everyone at this party...well except Lili's "boyfriend".

"Hey Abilee," said Jenkins, "What's up. Haven't talked to you since like, i don't know."

"Oh, hey Jenkins. just relaxing after that hula hoop game. It's such a work out. Yeah, sometimes I'm to myself if I don't know much people here." she smiled.
"So what's up with you? Enjoying the party or what?"

"Definately," he said, "Iridesca can really throw a party, no? Anyway I have met so many people at here at the ministry how about you?"

"She sure can." she laughed. She hadn't been to a party like this in...well a while. She was finally having some fun here.

"Not really. Just a few people in other departments." she said. She met her niece's best friend's aunt and some other people she couldn't remember.

"Yeah I met some girls and took them to get ice cream, I thought i saw you talking to one of them, Katlin, in the cafeteria. They were...friendly. Katlin said yes to a guy who asked her out after like 2 seconds and the other one started calling me Jenks. After Jenks became my nick name I made a fast getaway." said Jenkins shuddering at the memory. At least the girls in his department were more get to know you first type of people. He would know he talked to just about every single one.

Abilee couldn't help but laugh. Jenks...?...strange. That's a nickname she wouldn't have thought of, or give someone she barely knew. But she guessed everyone was different.

"Yeah. Katlin is my niece's best friend's aunt. I met her after you left. I think..." she couldn't really remember who was there on that same day. Ehh.

"You think that maybe you want to dance with me," said Jenkins, grinning as he finished her scentence and offered her his arm to laed her to where people were dancing.

Abilee blushed and smiled at the same time. She laughed softly and rolled her eyes playfully.

"Sure." she smiled and grabbed his arm with her gentle hand.

"All right then," said Jenkins,"I happen to be rubbish at the make it up as you go dancing though."

"You're not alone. I'm not much of a dancer either." she admitted. She tried not to look foolish and she kept stepping on her own feet. Bleh.

Agh..Diana was sooooooooo late for the Luau. She hated being late, but some deal with her parents had to be fixed that little exact second. She stepped into the Conference Room, wearing a bit of Hawaiian-tropical suit, along with flip-flops. She was in the mood, oh yeah

She sighed. And looked around...her bosses and co-workers were there, gulp...how embarrassing...

Jenkins laughed at Abilee, she was even worse at this than he was. He looked over her head towards the door, a girl had just walked in...in a bathing suit. He had to laugh. Everyone else was in pretty much normal clothes. He was in his usual white shirt with a loose black tie.

He had to feel sorry for her though... she looked embarressed, so he gave her a small wave.

Iridesca turned to the new incomer with a huge smile. She was really excited that someone had dressed up for the event. She ran over the incomer with a lei...

"Hello, I'm so glad you could make it and thanks for dressing up. I love your flip flops." she said as she wiggled her own right foot to show a purple pair with dangles on them...and then put the lei over her head. "Grab a burger and a drink, we have muggle drinks and butterbeer and pumpkin juice..and some muggle Luau games with directions set up in the corners." she paused pointing at the corners, "O and by the way I'm Iridesca" she said as she held out her hand.

"It's great to meet your Abigail...do you go by Abigail or a shorter version?" she asked just to make a mental note. "Thanks, I hoped it would be a fun way for everyone to get to know each other and just let go." she said as she handed the girl a drink. "I'm impressed, most people don't know what a metamorphogus is....it runs in the family...my niece and I are dangerous together with our meta-skills as we call them." o she missed her niece and was ready for the Christmas break so she could see her.

Iridesca smiled, "O I love Limbo." she reached over and put the bar up on the stands "Here's what you do." she bent her back a little bit and edged under the bar..giggling the whole..."Now ya'll try." she said encouraging after she made it through. "Try not to touch the bar and once we all get under we move it down a slot."

Hey...don't laugh. At least I'm trying." she laughed and tried not to look too ridiculous. Dancing wasn't her thing, never was. She was preferably a singer or something else. Just not a dancer.

"You have to give me credit for that at least." she smiled. Not even at her brother's wedding she would dance. But then again she was only 7 at the time.

"Ok fine I will give you credit for your lame attempt at trying to dance," he said tesingly. "So tell me what are your talents, Miss Sinclair...I presume you are a Miss? With beauty like yours one can't be sure."


Jenkins tried he really did, but he managed to knock the stick off the stand some how...he laughed at himself, "You make it look so easy." he said too Iridesca.

ooc: isn't it funny how your charrie can do multiple things at once? like now he is dancing, limboing, and at the icecreamshop...maybe cloning isn't illligal in the wizarding world. lol.

"Gee thanks." she joked. It looked like Jenkins had jokes on her already.

"Well, I actually don't have much talents. I don't focus on just one thing." she said. At 18, she still hadn't found her talent. "I am a Miss. No boyfriend or husband at the moment." she giggled, but it didn't mean she wasn't looking.


"People call me Abilee. I don't much go for Abby. It's too simple and common." she said and continued, "I recognized you were one. My niece is one too but she can't change her hair color. Just her eyes but she can change them into animal-like eyes. Which is pretty impressive for her age. But she gets it from her mother's side of the family. Like way back in their history, there was another Metamorphagus. Extremely rare people." she said and smiled. "I'm guessing your niece must be at Hogwarts just like mine?"

"No thanks needed," said Jenkins playfully. He raised his eyebrows,"No talents though, not one spell you are particularly good at? And no boyfriend? I am suprised."

"Funny." she smirked.

"Hmm, come to think of it. I'm pretty good with jinxes. But I don't really like to use them sometimes. Only if there's a big threat." she said and hopefully didn't sound like a whimp. She jinxed Jule once and almost killed her. It was an accident so since then, she's been careful with her magic.

"Nope. But why are you surprised? Never met a single girl before?" she asked and smiled. She felt like she must've been the first but then again she wouldn't know.

Iridesca shook her head as Abilee explained her name, "Well, I like Abilee that's much better than Abby...Abby sounds kind of ditzyish..." she said with a smile, "Wow, your niece is one. I would love to meet her. I've only met the few in my family. Yes, my niece goes to Hogwarts. She's a first year Ravvie and having a blast. Everytime she sends me an owl I can barely follow along with her letters because she has too much to say." she smiled again thinking about her last letter from Satine that was four pages long and was just a rambling mess which indicated she was having fun.

Iridesca smiled at Diana, "It's great to meet you. If you need anything, just let me know. Go have fun miggling with the other department members and I'll catch up with you later on!"

"I know aren't I?" he said smirking back down at her.

"Jinxes...hmmm...well you have my permission to use them on me whenever you get bored working in your cubicle, I enjoy a good duel."

"Yeah, I've met single girls before. You haven't asked me if I'm single yet," said Jenkins grinning.

"Thanks." she smiled.

"I bet your niece and mine are friends. She's usually quiet, until she meets that one person." she grinned and laughed a bit.



"You sure are." she smiled.

"Hmm. I'll keep that in mind. I'll just make sure nothing too bad happens or i'll get fired." she laughed. Though she has had more control over her magic lately.

"Well then, are you single?" she smirked. Jenkins was a sneaky person n her opinion. But she didn't mind.

"Right I wouldn't want to get you fired," said Jenkins.

"And of course I'm single, never been much for dating, more of a casual relationship type of guy, I am," said Jenkins.

"Yup. I can see that. Though you are very flirtacious." she smirked.

"Are I?" asked Jenkins innocently. "Hey can we be done dancing though? We are a disgrace to the preforming arts. Maybe you want to go get somthing to eat? There is food over there that keeps calling me," he joked.
