Carring her notebook and quiil and ink in hand Evaline walked out of her office toward the Conference room. It hadn't been used in weeks and she figured it needed some air before the meeting began.

Opening up the locked room with her key, Evaline stepped inside. The room was dark and she needed to fix that. Walking toward her seat at the far end of the room, she put her stuff own and clapped three times. Instantly the curtains moved to bring in the "sunlight" and the light from the room snapped on.

She took out her wand and gave it a wick. Instantly all the coffee mugs on each tabel filled with warm, good smelling tea. She smiled as she took her seat and waited for the people to show up, so she could begin the meeting.

(ooc: I will leave this open so people can rp their charries coming in. Limit the chit chatting and the meeting will begin around 5pm CST. If you can't be there I understand. This is just so we can get the plot rolling.)

Chad walked into the room, some papers in his hands, his eyes observing them. "Bonjour Mademoiselle Bass..." he read the last few words on the sheet and looked up and sighed. "Excellente day, non?" He smiled warmly and took a seat at the table, sorting his papers out.

"Merci for the notice on this meeting...I didn't think you would invite me. Particulairement after the incident the other day...mais, merci." He nodded his head respectably towards her and then took a sip of his tea. "Mmm, excellent tea.." And then he sat quietly in his seat, waiting for the others.

Katherine had her papers and quill in her hand ready for the meeting. Knowing where it is she took her time to walk to it. The smell of warm tea drifted to her nose, taking a big wiff of it she smiled. The perfect relaxer for a meeting no doubt. Walking into the meeting room she smiled,"Morning Evaline...Chad, nice to see you again."She Nodded and sat by Evaline. The room was bright, atimatically warm, and comfortable.

Evaline took a sip of her tea as Chad came in. He actually showed up. Amazing. She greeted him with a polite smile and said. "Yes very excelent." she replied and watched him take a seat.

The next person that walked through the door was Katherine. Evaline was happy she had gotten the note and was on time for the meeting. "Good morning." she said to her and waved her to one of the seats.

Evaline stood up. "Well for the two of you thank you for showing up on time. Both of you have no idea whats going on, but I will give them a 5 minute grace period." she stated and then added, "If they don't show up them. I'll get started with the meeting without them and deal with there tardiness later." She was going to be fair afterall.

With quill, ink and parchment on her hand, Murdoch stepped inside The Conference room, to participate in the meeting. She had to admit that the fact that The Quibbler had been their informer about the whole invisible monsters thing, make her a bit skeptical, but there was nothing wrong with being cautious. What if everything was true? It wouldn't be the first time that the magazine was right. One of the very few times perhaps, but definitely not the first.

"Good Morning" She said politely, to the peple inside. "Evaline" She said with a nod, to the department head, that happened to be the only person she was familiar with. Taking a seat beside her, she eyed the rest of the people in the room; One was a woman that she was not familiar with, and that was probably the other division head of the department, and the other was a man, that she was sure was the infamous Liason, Chad.

Chad nodded in hello to Katherine. He smirked, the last time he had seen her, they had danced in her division's work area. But he wasn't going to let Bass know that. "Bonjour Katie," he smiled warmly and straightened out his papers yet again.

He leaned back in his chair and nodded to Bass, "Ce n'est pas une probleme..."

Evaline looked up as the door opened and Costanza walked in, looking quite with breathe which obviously meant she wasn't in a rush to be on time. "Glad you could join us." Evaline said and then looked at her watch.

She looked up from it and watched Costanza take a seat. "Well I guess we can begin." she started and then stood up, her wand in hand so she could write on the board when she needed too.

"Well the reason we are here is about an article in The Quibbler that caught the attention of one of my division heads. The article was about an invisble monster or creature or something attacking people in different countries and not just one." she then raised and eyebrow. "Any questions so far?"

AJ strode in, a bit irritated at her own employees, but hoped this meeting would give them something to keep them occupied with. She smiled to Evaline and took a seat, "Sorry I'm late, what'd I miss?" she asked.

No one said anything so Evaline was about to contnue when the door opened and a new face popped in. "Hello, you must be from the fourth floor." Evaline replied to her and then added, "Take a seat and not much, I had just begun." She hoped her voice sounded nice enough to hide her irritation for late comers.

She then wrote on the board with her wand the points she had just gone over. With a flick of her wand the words 'Invisible monsters attacking people, Scotland, Switzerland, and England, The Quibbler'. Beginning again, she spoke and the most important words appeared on the board under the ones already on there. "Now the three places listed are the ones mentioned in the article, but I'm sure if we go to The Quibbler building we can find out more as our first step."

Looking at the people she asked, "Does that sound like a good first step?"

AJ raised her hand for a moment before speaking up on the source of this information, "I'm sorry, but how exactly do we know the Quibbler isn't making all this up? They aren't the most reliable source out there, I mean the Nargles and all," she said, getting quiet at the end. She was young, in comparison to some of the people, and didn't want to offend any of them with her paranoia and suspicion, but didn't want to end up with this whole thing being fake.

Evaline shook her head. "Yes well, thats very true but the reason we were going to have this meeting is so we can figure out if its worth any trouble as well. My other division head was suppose to do some research, but alas he is not here." she replied to the girl and then added, "Luckily I have."

She then gave a flick of her wand and a little animal like thing appeared. She turned back to the audience and said, "This is what I believe the animal looks like. It would be a mix of a Leithfold and a Demiguese. Combinding these two creatures would infact make an mixed breed like the one mentioned in The Quibbler." This statement was directed toward the girl who questioned the porblem, but she said it to everyone.

Constanza listened to Evaline's explanation intently, even though she was aware of the inivisible monsters issue, and when she was about to talk, the woman that's just arrived said the one thing that she had been thinking since they had that little gathering on Evaline's office.

"I agree when you say that we should go and pay a visit to the offices of The Quibbler" Constanza said, addressing to her boss "But I also agree with you" She added now, glancing at the other woman, "It would certainly not be the first time that The Quibbler make something up" Obviously, who could forget about the Nargles? She tried not to snort "So, I think that the same day that we go there to check out if there are any other places where the monsters had been 'seen'" She said making airquotes, since the animals were appearently invisible "We should make sure as well, that is not just one of the many ways of The Quibbler to get attention"

AJ's eyes went a bit wider, she hadn't been here to hear that it was a mixed breed dangerous creature, and this was somoe surprising information. "Who would have the resources to mix such a creature? Do you know how many we're dealing with? She wished her beast head were here to hear this, but either way, Aricca's fingers were moving rapidly, taking notes of this. A dangerous mixed breed creature, this was very illegal.

Evaline nodded at Costanza. "Yes thats why I said going to the Quibbler is our first step. And then we need to decide here what to do afterword if the article that was published is true." she replied to Costanza.

She then turned to look at AJ. "I have absolutely no idea. Also we have no idea what they are trading these creatures for. Maybe they are going to be a weapon or maybe they are being mistaken as like magic carpets. This is why I called the meeting, to figure these things out. " she added.

Katie listened carefully. This was new, trading mixed animals."This could get extreamly dangerous, has anyone reported here to the ministry's about the attack other than the Quibbler?"Any records of attacks or injuries would up the investigation."Hospital Records?"She said offering an idea.

Rico rushed into the conference room, his robes billowing behind him, a stack of papers under his arm. "So sorry I'm late, Evaline," he said as he exhaled and slid into the seat next to Constana.

He looked up to where she had written what they knew on a board, and realized the research he had worked on was already irrelevant. Ok, step two, Suave, he thought shifting in his seat.

"Right, so while we're at Quibbler headquarters," Rico said, speaking up. "we need to find out who the source was for this article, and then investigate that source, I think," he nodded. "If we follow the source...shouldn't that lead us to whoever's doing the illegal trading? It has to be someone - or something - with connections across several continents."

He paused, and shuffled through his papers for the right one. "If this Quibbler story is correct," he added, "the animals have to be coming from multiple sources. Aren't demiguises found in the Far East? And lethifolds come from tropical regions?" Rico looked up from his notes and glanced at the woman from the magical creatures department.

Evaline looked at Katherine as she spoke up. "Yes well there were hospital reports but of course no one would believe that an invisible monster would do this. They believe people lied about doing things if you catch my drift." she replied to her and then heard the door open and someone come in rushing.

She looked to find it was Rico. "Nice of you to join us." she replied hoping he caught the edge in her voice. She then turned back to the whole table and was about to speak when Rico's voice interupted. "Yes go right ahead," she mumbled probably so only Chad could hear since he was sitting the closest.

Rico glanced at Evaline when she spoke. He couldn't help raising an eyebrown at her...well, icy tone of voice. He shook his head, thinking that he'd have to explain the circumstances of his lateness to her after the meeting. Or something.

Rico sighed and shuffled some papers, hoping he hadn't been too, er, brash with all his ideas.....

Evaline looked back at Rico. "Is that all?" she asked in a hard to manage but she did nice tone. Turning back to the whole conference, she added to Rico's sentences. "Yes and with this information from the Quibbler writer we will be able to make a plan of action on how to find out what these things are and what they are for."

Erasing all the stuff off the board with a flick of her wand, she turned back, took a sip of tea, breathed a deep sigh, and then spoke again. "For now I think one person from each division can be on the case and go to the Quibbler headquaters and whatever venture is after that, but make sure I know who they are first. And also, once things start getting big we are definitely going to need more hands." she stated and then added, "from both departments and maybe even magical law enforcement as well."

Looking at the group, she then asked, "Any other things we need to plan while we are here before we dismiss and get things rolling to go to the Quibbler?"

AJ raised her hand, "I'll be sending at least one of my employees to go with you on this little... excursion to the headquarters as well... Once we determine weather this is more of a Beast or a Being... it sounds like a Beast tho." she said smiling, and writing a note to herself on her notebook in front of her. She thought for a moment, a Lethifold and a Demiguise... odd combination... "Wait, Lethifolds attack people in their sleep and... well they eat the person. What sort of injuries are we talking here in the victims so far? I'd like to see those accident reports, if I could... just see what type of injuries were sustained here." she said, "if you don't mind, of course," she added.

The thoughts flowing through AJ's head were very jumbled and confused, this was, no doubt a beast, due to the viciousness of it, since it attacks innocent people, but Lethifolds eat people, the only way of stopping them from eating you is a patronus charm, "Have all the attacks at least been on Witches and Wizards, no Muggle Attacks?" she asked the moment the thought came to her head.

Rico had been casually jotting some notes down as Evaline spoke, and didn't feel like saying much more. Not that he had anything to add, but he had a feeling he'd already said too much too quickly. And plus....Boss Bass seemed to have a little attitude problem going on there.

He shook his head and tapped his quill against the table, wondering if the Quibbler story truly had merit to it...and wondering what they would find if it did...

Evaline looked as AJ as she spoke and agreed with the person from her department. "Thanks, that sounds good for now." and then she listened as AJ went on answering the question Rico asked.

Hearing the last question she replied with full honest, "No we don't, thats another thing we might need to investigate, but maybe your department would handle that since that is more with yours on how the animal is biting. Our department cares about why this is happening and what the purpose of these creatures are really for that they are so far away from home." she replied. She then added, "I believe just the wizarding community."

A few minutes later

Evalime smiled at everyone and closed her notebook. "Well if there are no more questions I guess we can say this meeting is ajourned." she stated with a smile and then finished off her tea.

While she waited for everyone to shuffle out, she added to them, "And let me know who is going to The Quibbler headquarters and I'll get that settled out."

Rico, who hadn't touched a drop of his tea, relaxed a bit when Evaline announced the meeting was over. He silently stood up and gathered his papers, preparing to leave along with everyone else. Actually, he realized as he glanced at his watch, he needed to speak briefly to Evaline.

He slowly ambled over to the head of the table, towards the boss. "Excuse me, Miss Bass," Rico said softly, "but I must apologize for my tardiness earlier...." he trailed off and shuffled the papers in his hand.
