I know most people already know this but I figure I should ask it anyway. What is your name and posistion on SS?

What do you do when your not on SS?
I actually have a crazy busy life. I work two jobs, preschool teacher and bookstore shop girl, and I volunteer a few nights a week at my church.
How did you come to join SS?
In the past, we've had this contest called the Potter Project, which is basically a collaborative fanfiction. Snitchseeker partnered with Alivan's, who advertised the PP and who sent a little email to my in-box. I stalked the Potter Project and SS for a while until finally I HAD to join so that I could muck about in the Potter Project and play in Zonko's, which was my first love when I started.

What was the hardest thing to date that you've had to sort out as a Mod
That's a tough one.
As a "moderator", the hardest thing was to rearrange the RP forum back when I was the head RP mod. I am very very anal, which doesn't translate that well to the school RP, and I was obsessive about arranging things
But as school staff, the hardest thing has been to take on the Headmistress role. So much goes on behind the scenes, especially between terms, and that period seriously zaps me of all energy.
And on the subject of being headmistress... How do you come up with the plot for each term?
To be honest, I've been working with the plots and timelines for about the past four or five terms, but it's only been official for two. Some of the plots come from ideas we get from staff members or students. Some of them come from random inspiration. This past term actually came about because of the craze last term for "shipping." It was a way for us to poke fun at that and capitalize

What was your most embarressing moment on SS?
Oh gosh... I embarass myself all the time. Hehe. Just like me *blush*
I spent the LONGEST time being mortally afraid of being labelled a "n00b" so I kind of just lurked in the beginning. I would just stalk games in Zonko's until I was sure of how it worked before I'd play, but that helped me avoid making the same mistakes some new members make. I can think of one story... but it might be really long.

Well, the old Site Manager, which is the job Kris has know, had a really interesting sense of humor, and instead of just censoring words, on the old system they could have one word replace another. So instead of the "****", a totally different and insanely stupid word might appear in it's place. That made it harder for mods, but it made it incredibly amusing for the staff at times. I guess they also did that with some more common words, because I posted something once, and in the middle of one of my sentences... instead of the word I TYPED popped up the words "I love you like a fat kid loves cake." I was so embarassed that someone would think I was... spastic or something, that I PMed the poor Admin. And she PMed me back saying something like, "Chill out, kid. It's funnyWhat is the best part of your Mod/Staff powers?
Hm... there are loads of things that are great about being on staff, but I think the best part is that I get all this creative control. I'm a really creative person, and I love to write and create characters and stories, so being able to orchestrate the school is like a dream come true for me. Plus I get to work with an amazing staff and loads of excited students.

If you could have any other position on SS, what would it be?
Oh gosh. Honestly, all the other admins have these jobs that are absolutely perfect for them. I would stink at being Site Manager or Forum Manager or News or anything like that. I like the way this team works because we're each stuck into a job that is ideal for us. So... nothing. I love my job
Thats great! Id hate to see what would happen if we had a headmistress who didnt *shudders*
What house were you in before you became Headmistress?
Oh, I was most definitely a loud and proud Ravenclaw before I was made staff, and I was the Ravenclaw Head of House for a while as well. Long live the blue and bronze. *wink*

Before you found SS or any other Harry Potter RP site. What was your favorite house?
I wanted desperately to be in Ravenclaw as soon as I joined SS, and I was relieved that's where I ended up. When I read the books, I knew I wasn't brave or overly ambitious, and I've always loved to read and to learn. In fact... don't tell, but I liked going to school *gasp*. So Ravenclaw was an easy pick for me.

Aside from HP do you read much?
I'm a huge reader. I generally go to the library once a month and get a stack of books to bring home with me, although I've had trouble recently finding time to read.
What was your reaction when you became a mod/staff member?
I was totally shocked when they asked me to be on staff. I'd been around and active and responsible, but I didn't feel like I really stood out. Someone must have seen something I didn't though. I try to look for that sort of thing in the people I hire. It isn't just about being around a while, or being on every day. It's about having vision and talent, and I try to surround myself with the best.
When you were in school (or still are) what was your favorite subject?
I was a huge English nerd in school. I love creative writing and journalism. In fact, I was an editor on my school paper and the editor-in-chief of the literary magazine.
If you were in Hogwarts what do you think your favorite subject would be?
That's so hard, because they don't always translate into regular subjects. I would probably like Ancient Runes because I've always been interested in languages and history, or perhaps Potions because I enjoyed science and the whole idea of making something out of two different substances.
The last person I interviewed asked this question. 'In the RP, why did you decide to make your character the way it is?'

Honestly, I'd only been RPing for one term when I was hired. Cassandra Rae isn't all that complicated, and her complications have arisen over the course of the terms I've played her. She kind of reveals herself as we go, and I don't force her to do things. I let her tell me how she would act or react. It's kind of a fascinating way to play a character, and it's pretty much the way I do all my characters.

If they sold your life story at Flourish and Blotts, what would the title be?
