In the very deepest dungeon of Hogwarts there are strange smells and sounds. There is also the office of the resident Potions Master, Adam Dresden.

The Door to his office is closed, a note tacked onto the dark wood.

Alexandra talked to herself saying. I am on the bottom floor.
It seems dark here.. But I am determined to take the Potions Class.
I see the note on the door. I will be polite and knock, I hope that Professor Dresden will be back soon.

Kai slowley walked up to the door, she then turned to her left and noticed another student beside her "Hi, are you waiting too?"

A tall, thickly built, mixed boy, with a brisk walk approached the corridor outside of Potions Master Adam Dresden. Dresden, being immensely popular with the students often had a line outside of his office each term that Claudian had had him, and this term was to be no exception. Claudian pulled up alongside of the two young Ravenclaw girls.

"Have you ladies knocked?" Common sense? Sure, but it never hurt to ask. Perhaps, they were the shy sort. "He may be inside...?" Claudian took a step closer to the door and gently tried the handle. Nothing. So he resorted to waiting calmly until the Potions Master appeared.

Nancy was looking for the office of the Potion's Master Adam Dresden. After some time she finally saw a group of people standing in front of a wooden door. She quickend her steps and when she'd reached the group she introduced herself and asked. "Hi, my name is Nancy. Are you also waiting for Professor Dresden?"

Her long, rainbow colored hair was pulled back into its usual ponytail, but it still hung clear to her hips. She hand a hand behind her back, twisting the end of the ponytail in her fingers. It looked like a nice line had built up outside his office. Whende frowned slightly. Hopefully she wouldn't have to wait to horribly long.

"Have you guys been standing here a long time?" she asked. She glanced at the door and chewed her lower lip. She wasn't going to take very long. Maybe she could just ask quickly when he was opening the door for someone else?

Squinting in the semi-darkness, Adam flicks on a row of candles and looks to see who knocked at his door. He circles the titanium cauldron and spots a group of students, various ages and houses by the looks of it.

"Please, come in everyone" he said, smiling finally.

Claudian hung back to let the ladies enter first then entered into the Professors Office.

She smiled at the boy standing in front of her. "Nice to meet you too, Claudian. Finally somebody who didn't realize at first sight that I'm in my first year." Nancy let out a laugh.
As the door of the office opened she peered inside curiously. She then followed the others inside.
"Hello. My name is Nancy Hudonson and this is my first year in Hogwarts." She introduced herself and started looking around in the office. Unfortunately she couldn't see a lot since the room was just dimly lit. She therefore started looking at the professor again.

Whende grinned slightly. He really could sell tickets to his office. Wasn't he a rockstar? He certainly looked like one. Maybe if she shoved a guitar in his face, he'd rock out or something. She'd have to try it sometime. Yes.

She nodded, smiling at his twist on her name. She perked up slightly as he asked for questions. Her arm instinctively shot into the air. Silly. This is not a class room. Hanging out did sound nice. But she did come to ask him, after all.

Her arm slowly sunk back to her side. "Could I borrow a Potions book?" She could just imagine it in her head. Him: Do you not have your own? Her: Well... Yes... But the page I need is monster smudged by my stupid and clumsiness. Ugh.

More specifically about potions that would counteract the effects of Veritaserum." His mind instantly wandered to Celestina Warbuck for a brief second before he went on. "I know that by the mid-1990's there was at least one known cure, but as it's use is still carefully monitored, I thought I should ask your professional opinion. I'd like to know if to your knowledge, Professor, are there any other proven, known potions which combat it's effects...better yet, act as a preventative?"
He glanced to the side then back towards Adam, as if he'd either asked the world's stupidest question about potions or had been caught doing something he'd best not do.

A tall dishwater blond boy with washed out gray eyes pauses at the office door. He rests his left fingers on the wood and listens. Shaking his head he leaves.

"Of course, Professor. I thank you for your time." Claudian said giving a respectful nod, which closely resembled man code # 19, but was a bit more solemn. With that, he took his leave of Dresden's office.

"Oh, thanks!" When said, hopping lightly. After she'd grabbed a book, she was halfway out the door when she turned and said, "I think it's mi biblioteca es su biblioteca." She gave him a thumbs up. If Spanish was EVER going to be useful, she didn't know. But hey, at least she knew random phrases. Class? Class? There was a class? Shoot. Well, she'd get around to it soon enough...

Adam, worn out from teaching and still itchy all over, entered his office and shut the door. After a quick shower which temporarily relieved the itchiness, Adam curled up in his office chair and fell asleep.

Once asleep, Adam started to snore softly, alternating with another sound that sounded suspiciously like purring.

As the sixth year promised herself, she made her way toward Professor Dresden's office to have a talk with him. Knocking on his door, she rocked back and forth a few times on her heels waiting for the okay to enter.

Rhiannon walked out of the Potions classroom and saw Amelia standing by the door to Professor Dresden's office. Walking over, she taps the huffie on the shoulder. "Hey. Waiting to talk to the professor?" She hears a noise coming from inside. "Sounds like he's in there, at least."

After leaving potions class, Ryan decided he should pay a visit to Dresden to apologize, if nothing else. He couldn't imagine Dresden not being embarrassed by Ryan's question.

Ryan walked up to Dresden's office, where he saw a few girls. Well....at least he didn't have to wait alone.

Deciding to strike up a conversation, he said, "Interesting class today, wasn't it?"

Amelia heard another student approaching them, who she recognized as a Quidditch Player for last year's Ravenclaw team. She never talked to the boy, but knew that he was 'friendly' with Rapunzel, so he couldn't be too bad.

Amelia just shrugged and chuckled when Rhiannon told her that she was concerned too; it was pretty bad when a new student noticed something peculiar about a professor. "Oh don't worry, you're not totally off, Rhian. He was acting rather peculiar today," she said, giving an encouraging smile.
