Lili listened carefully as Claudian spoke. Before she answered his question though she said, "please, call me Liliana, or Lili." She just found Mrs. Hunter a little formal, though, she had to admit that she liked the way that Mrs. Hunter sounded, but if Claudian and herself were going to be working together, she didn't want him to be calling her Mrs. Hunter, she wasn't his boss, so it did not seem right.

"To be honest, Claudian," she said, starting to answer his question, "they aren't going that well, I am having a hard time motivating my department, and having a hard time getting them to contribute." She really did not like speaking that way about her department, but she couldn't find another way to put it!

OOC: No worries.

"Very well, Mrs...Liiliiaanaa." Her name came slowly and deliberately to his mouth as he had to nearly correct his habit of calling her by her last name. Claudian's face dropped before he could catch it as she spoke her next set of words.

"Oh? Well, that's unfortunate." That was kind of disappointing to hear. It was the first World Cup to be held in Britain in a long time. He expected everyone to be more gung-ho about it. He was. "You know, Minister Taylor did mention that as the Department Head you are permitted to use the liaisons for your department should you need extra help. Would there be anything I could do?". He kept his ears open as his mind was flashing possible areas of trouble. Was it just motivation? Or could it be something else? Perhaps there was something afoot abroad that was making it hard to prioritize the tasks given.

Lili had to think on that one for a minute. Was there anything she could use Claudian to help with. Was there anything she couldn't use Claudian to help with would of been a better question, she thought.

"You know, perhaps there is. One of my divisions, British Seats, is supposed to be preparing invitations to foreign ministers for a personal dinner with Minister Taylor before the Quidditch Match, but the only problem, is that we do not know who to address these invivations to," she said. "The other thing with that, is that Jacob is unsure, along with myself, if we shoud send those invitations to Minister Taylor before they get sent to the respective minsters. The only problem, is that we do not yet know who will be playing in the final, and those are the countries who will be receiving invitations obviously." She explained all that to Claudian, barely taking a breath.

As she sat there, she had one hand on her stomach, and felt a slight pressure on the surface. She'd been having the same feeling all day, and she figured that it was her baby kicking, she couldn't wait to tell Iain when she got home tonight. She could just picture the nursery now.

Shaking her head slightly she realized that she had gotten off on a different train of thought and brought her mind back to her meeting with Claudian. "I am arranging now, to work with Bella and her department, on how the foreign minsters and guests will arrive, and the translators for the event are almost hired. Once again, we just need to know who will be playing in the final will be." She was rambling here a little, but he asked what he could do to help, and she figured the best way to do that, was to fill him on everything she had found out recently. "Perhaps you could just talk to Minister Taylor for me or Samantha, and see what we need to do about the invitations?" She suggested finally.

A paper airplane flies into the room and comes to a rest on your desk, unfolding and smoothing out to reveal...

Edward walked down the hallway to the office of his new Department Head. He knew that the way he departed Ministry Security may have been less than proper, but he needed to move forward. That department held too many memories of Si and he needed a new challenge. He was ready to search that out in this department.

As he stood by the door holding the notification which told him to report to this office, he knocked loud enough to be heard, but not so loud as to be considered obnoxious and awaited an invitation to enter.

Lili had just been talking to Claudian when she got a notice from one of her fellow department heads. As she finished reading it, and she couldn't say that she was surprised. What with the full moon falling around that time and all. The one point that surprised her a bit though was that ghosts were not allowed, she supposed they would catch the eye of a lot of people, but well nothing she could do about that. As she set the notice down, there was a knock on her door.

"Come in," she said, loudly enough for the person on the other side to hear.

Edward heard a response from inside and stepped through the door to see his new department head seated at her desk. He thinks he's seen her elsewhere, likely just passing by the security desk. He'd been doing that job a while.

He walked up to her desk and held out his transfer notification. "Good morning, ma'am. My name is Edward Lennox and I've been granted a transfer to your department."

He wondered if he should be nervous, if there had been some sort of conversation between Brian and this woman and he decided that whether or not there had, he was here to work and that's what mattered to him. He hoped only that he could do a good job.

Initially Lili was a little shocked when she opened the door. She was pretty sure she had seen this man before, maybe even talked to him, but a couple years ago maybe now. When he introduced himself she smiled, now she remembered. "Ah, yes. Edward, thank you for reporting so quickly." she said, after all, she'd just let him know about the granted transfer.

"I am Liliana Hunter, and I will be your new department head," she told him casually introducing herself. She stood up slowly to shake his hand, thinking she may need a different chair sometime soon. Something that wasn't so stiff, sitting in a stiff chair when she was this pregnant wasn't comfortable. "Let me just say, that we are very glad to have you here," she said after she shook his hand. "When I looked over your application, I have decided that you would be best suited in our Magical Office of Law division. Iridesca McMillian is the division head there. The office is right down the hall. She will be more than willing to fill you in on everything, and on everything we are currently doing for the QWC." After she had let him know that, she paused before asking, "is there any questions you have that you would like me to answer?"

Edward smiled as she seemed to remember him. Recognition also came to him as well. "It's no problem to have reported so quickly. I'm greatly appreciative of the opportunity to work for you."

As she stood, he noticed her pregnant belly and walked over to her with a hand out to help her if she needed it. "It seems that you'll be taking some time soon." He was greatly pleased to have the chance to work in the Magical Office of Law division. "Thank you ma'am. I hope that I can be an asset for you and your department."

When she asked if he had any questions, he pondered it for a moment. "I can't think of anything right now. I suppose that if there were any questions, the most important would be what your expectations are."

Expectations. Hm, they were simple she thought. "Just show up to work, and make sure you contribute to the work in your new division," she told Edward. She paused, "if there is nothing else, then I have to get back to my meeting with Claudian," she said, pointing to the liason still sitting in her office. "The office you are looking for is just down the hall, and if you have any questions, feel free to stop by whenever you wish."

Edward nodded as she spoke. "Ok. Thank you." He seemed a little taken aback that he hadn't noticed another person in the office. He looked to them and nodded. "My apologies for interrupting."

Looking back to Lilli, he nodded. "Thank you again."

With that, he stepped out and looked for his new division.

Someone sneaks through the corridors sticking this to the walls with the following message flashing across it:

Join us as we stand up for Beings and Beasts Rights!Don't give into the injustice. Stand up and walk out for what you believe. Join the hundreds of Wizarding Workers who are opposed the Ministry's prejudice against those who are different! There will be a mass walk out on Saturday at 4 p.m. to show your support for those who have none. Take to the streets of Diagon Alley and stand up for what is right!

Iridesca walked quickly towards Lili's office and knocked timidly on the door. She was holding the poster from her division curled up in her hands. She knew she wasn't mad, but she needed to know if the department wanted to leave these hanging up....

He sudden change in expression alarmed Claudian as he watched her. Was she...hurt? "Are you alright, Liliana?". It took him a while, but he soon realized the reason for it all. She was expecting. And with that realization, he looked relieved. "I can definitely make some time with Minister Taylor to answer that and any other questions you might have about the World cup. In fact, I'd be happy to. If I may offer a guess, though, I'd say Minister Taylor would want to invite as many leaders from as many magical nations as will be possible. The lady doth like to do everything large." He smiled, offering his insight, which he could've been wrong about, though he felt confident in.

"If that is the case, I've been told I have a nice hand and would be happy to help prepare the invites with Mr. Webster." He was bragging a bit. But, he worked on his writing for months to train himself to get it to not lean left like the hands of most left-dominants did and in the process, he improved his hand writing in general. A fact he was rather proud of.

At the sound of the soft knock, Claudian stood up. It was a bold move on his behalf, but he didn't think the Department head would mind given that she just experienced some discomfort due to her condition. "Allow me, please, Liliana." He was still getting used to the first-name basis, but he was starting to like it. He moved closer to the door and wiggled his wand to open it up. He smiled warmly at the woman on the other side of it, whom he recognized as Ms. McMillan, the head of the International Magical Law division.

Lili looked up from their conversation as there was a knock on the door. She wondered who it could possibily be.

"Yes, I am doing okay, just very close to my due date is all," she said, hoping he was not to concerned. As she listened to what he was saying, she nodded. "Yes, we're planning on inviting as many as possible, we just need to check the list over with Minister Reagan."

Just as she was about to get up to get the door, Claudian got up to answer it. "Thank you," she said kindly with a smile.

"Come on in, Iridesca," she said as the division head walked through the door. "What can I do for you?"

Claudian stayed by the door and gave a short nod to show his grasp of the concept. "Sounds simple enough. If you don't mind actually, Lliana I think I ought to be getting back to the Liaisons office to fill out a report. If you do find that you need me, please don't hesitate to call for me?". He put the still-standing offer out there and gave small head-bowly nods to both Liliana and Iridesca as he took his leave of her office.

"Not at all Claudian," she said. "Thank you for stopping by," Liliana said to him as he said he was leaving. "Of course I will," she said just as he walked out the door.

Iridesca smiled and walked just inside the door. She held up the flyer for the walk-out. "Lili, I just have a quick question...Do you want me to keep this flyer hanging up in the division or not? I wasn't sure what stance we wanted to take as a department." she said with a smile.

Lili glanced at the notice that Iri was holding onto. "Oh," she said, she was unsure on what position to take on this. "Perhaps they can be taken down now, but we cannot really stop people from putting up notices. However, if it was to happen in the future, we need them to ask before placing them up," she said, pointing to the one that was on the wall by her door.

She got up from her chair, and, walking very slowly because she was only a week and a bit from her due date she took the notice off the wall. It felt good to be standing she thought.

Cornelius went up to the door that lead into the department head's office. He was excited to star his first day of work in this department.

The door was still open from when Claudian had just left, and Iri was still in her office. As they were discussing the matter of the posters she looked up, and saw someone else come up to her door. She didn't recognize the man, but she supposed he could be one of the people she had just contacted about working in this department.

"Can I help you?" she asked when he came to a stop outside of the door.

Iridesca glanced over her shoulder and saw someone else coming in...since hers was a simple question, she smiled at Lili..."Thanks, that's all I really needed...I really wasn't sure about what you wanted us to do with these...I'll head back to our division meeting then." she said with a final little wave. She turned around and smiled at the new comer and headed out quickly.

Cornelius smiled.'' I got a message saying that you wanted to meet with me before I met with my new division head,'' He said.

"Oh yes, you were a liaison, correct?" Lili said after Iri had left. "I just wanted to say that I am sorry about you're past department, but also wanted to let you know that I am happy to have you here."

''Well thank-you, I am glad to be here,'' said Cornelius with a smile. If you need anything else just call''.
