Constantine watched as Torin walked away to a table and pulled out a book. "Excuse me," he said, to the rest of the group and then turned back to face LouAnn and leaning in close, dropping his voice down to a whisper. "Pass me your wand," he practically mouthed, covering her well so that they could make an exchange without others noticing.

Hearing about the 'private conversation', Evelyn took a step back, her smile faltering for a moment and seeing the Hufflepuff boy walk away to another table, she decided to just lay low. Glancing at Destiny for a moment, another smile appeared on her face, though slightly less sweet then the last one. "We can wait too. We just wanted to say hi to LouAnn and see if she was alright seeing as she ran out of the room so quickly...Rafe is quite worried you know." she spoke as sincerely as she could, taking another step back and picking a random book off the shelves.

'Underwater creatures? Ugh...' Well, it would have to do. Hearing Destiny whisper the words she was already thinking of on the way down here, she smirked and grinned at her Slytherin friend. "'Course I do..." she whispered back, slightly keeping her eyes on the groundskeeper and the other boy, and especially LouAnn, but looking as if she was reading as well.

'Yeah, we just wanted to let her know.. she, umm, left her hot dog at the party.' Not the brightest thing to say. Following Evelyn to the bookshelves, but not taking her eyes off LouAnn or the groundskeeper, Destiny picked up a book not even glancing at the cover. She smiled at Evelyn and kept saying the spells she knew over in her head. She really didn't want to do that.

"Purple!" Rafe exclaimed. He was breathing heavy. "Thank goodness you're alright!" He gave her a big hug and squeezed her tightly, he was afraid that if he let her go she would disappear again. "You're in big trouble missy!" Rafe didn't even notice that there were other people there. He lowered his voice and whispered in her ear, "Kaz has a bounty on your head, I'm afraid you might be in danger. You need to get to safety." Rafe stepped backward and cleared his throat. He looked at each of the others that was here, they probably thought he was being a bit dramatic, "G'day everyone lovely to see you all." In fact, why were all these people here? Well, except Evelyn, she was there she knew...except she left before the note got there.

...and suddenly, from out of nowhere, Torin Kane had arrived and joined the little group of two gathered in the corner of the library. Whoever knew a corner would have been so popular? Hmm. This seemed innocent enough. Then again, Mr. Masterson had just told her that a notice had been sent for her. There was also a something or another on her forehead. LouAnn suddenly felt like an Azkaban escapee, on the run from a million and one guardsmen. "Oh, uhh...Hi, Torin," she said, her voice cracking a little. She nodded in reply to the 'fancy seeing you' comment.

...and then, the group of three turned into a group of four. This would normally be the point where LouAnn would yell, "Party in the corner!" However, now that she was a hunted woman, she no longer felt the urge to laugh and be merry over a growing number of people. "Hi," she said, her voice coming out in a small whisper. Mr. Masterson was politely telling them all that they'd approached a private conversation. They didn't...really...seem to want to leave, though.

Help on...homework? LouAnn? Help someone with schoolwork? Somehow, LouAnn thought this boy had mistook her for someone who knew what in Merlin's Pants was going on in class. "Uhhh...homework?" she questioned. "...me?"

Just wanted to say hi, hmm? "Oh, well, hi there! Thanks f-f-for checking on me," she said, her voice continually cracking. "I'm just fine, and I do appreciate your concern." She gave the girl a warm smile, wondering if she was really sincere or if she was just after her to turn her in.

With the addition of Rafe, LouAnn now felt like a prey about to play victim to an entire army of predators. It seemed like the crowd around her was growing more and more by the minute, which of course made LouAnn more uncomfortable. After all, she was a wanted girl. Rafe seemed to want to protect her, though. He seemed sincere and only out to help. She smiled at him and nodded her head when he went to explain what had happened. "I know," she whispered, not really able to say much more at the moment. She gave him a little side look then glanced away.

When Mr. Masterson turned to face her, LouAnn eyes flickered towards the groundskeeper. Her wand...yikes. She started to tell him not to lose it (that seemed to be a growing trend amongst the staff members, ya know), but then she'd give it all away. She raised her right arm a little, then popped her wrist, her wand flicking ever so slightly out her wrist holster.

As soon as Constantine had a hold of her wand, he slipped it into his pocket smoothly and then put a firm hand on her shoulder. Slowly he started to walk with her, leaning into her ear and speaking quietly. "Remember when you were younger...when you had to run away as fast as you can. When I tell you to run...I want you to run...just like that day. Go to the Forbidden Forest...go as deep as you can manage."

And then...there was loudmouth. "EXCELLENT, Mr. Lycaon. Perhaps you would like to join LouAnn and I in an expedition down to my pumpkin patch. I need her opinion on something...you seem like you have good taste as well." Constantine then put an expression on his face telling the child that he really didn't have much of a choice in the matter. If he was going to be LOUD, he was going to guard.

Slowly, Constantine moved LouAnn to the door. "I promise to bring her right back," he smiled. Almost there.

Fia needed a wall...a chair...a table...something to hang on too because at this point, she ran closely behind the other students to find LouAnn. And then she heard someone say her last name. Her eyes widened to the group that was now standing around the girl, most of them from the Death Day Party in the dungeons. Everyone she knew read the note, so everyone was here for LouAnn. She bent over slightly to rest on her knees and catch her breath. She wasn't out of shape, just...lots of stairs.

But then...oh nooooo. Mr. Masterson was doing something with LouAnn, and Rafe told what was going on. Was that a good idea? She wouldn't have said so much because now, the girl was going to take off running. Well it was a good thing that Mr. Masterson had a hand on the Gryffindor.

He watched Neo take LouAnn away and towards the entrance to the library. And he wasn't being fooled by the act. The pieces were falling into place.

Masterson had saw the note from Kazi and tipped LouAnn off. Now he was protecting her. The only questions that remained were where she was really heading and how he would manage to get to her.

With Mr. Masterson's hand on her shoulder, LouAnn allowed herself to be led away from the mob of students. She said nothing as she walked slowly away. She was honestly too frightened to step a toe out of the line she was walking in. A little tear trickled down her cheek when he mentioned running away when she was younger. She bit her bottom lip and nodded, wiping away the tear as she did so. "Yeah...okay," she half-mumbled. She nodded to indicate she was ready. Now...for the signal.

Nodding in the Gryffindor girl's direction, she moved deeper in the bookshelves, peaking through the books to see what was going on. Taking a deep breathe to calm her rapidly beating heart, she tried to think up a plan to get LouAnn alone. Nothing was coming up though, and it was frustrating her. For a moment, she remembered Destiny thinking up all the places to look for Myrtle. Maybe she was the brains of this...group? And Evelyn was...what...?

Hearing the Groundskeeper announce loudly though that he was going to the pumpkin patch and seeing him and LouAnn walking past the bookshelf and out towards the door, Evelyn suddenly went with them, glancing at Destiny to see if she was coming. "Umm, we need to go too..." she said, slowly walking behind them. But Rafe was with them too...and another girl appeared, plus adding the Hufflepuff boy? Big challenge!! But nothing Evelyn was scared of. If it came down to any dueling, then she was ready. She was just hoping it wouldn't be like the time she dueled Josh, since hurting anyone was not on her to-do list at the moment.

Hmm, I wonder why he took her wand, Rafe thought. "To the pumpkin patch," Rafe said as he was following them towards the door.

Rafe passed Fia and gave her a sympathetic look. He was glad he had her support through this whole ordeal. She really showed support and that's what he hoped for. But, now his priorities were with LouAnn now that he had found her. He just wanted to make sure she was safe.

'Secrets are not good.' Destiny thought as the groundskeepers whispered in LouAnn's ear. And now they were headed to the door. He wouldn't be taking her to Kazi would he? She doubted it.
Destiny nodded when Evelyn spoke up. 'Yeah its better if we all go!' Where was this bravery coming from? No matter now. Destiny would rather be doing this than searching for a ghost.

Instead of getting up and leaving like the others who were obviously wanting a piece of her too, he decided it best if he just stayed here for a bit and continued acting the part.

It wasn't like she wouldn't be around for a bit yet. He needed to throw off any suspicion and think things through more because they just got a lot more complicated.

His eyes lifted to spot another one of LouAnn's friends. "Perhaps you would like to join us as well, Ms. Allister? You seem like the type to have excellent taste in pumpkins." His smile showed that he would need her, hoping that she would understand he was here to defend LouAnn.

And now they were at the door. Constantine's grip remained on her shoulder as he leaned his head in to whisper in LouAnn's ear again, "Be strong...I will come retrieve you when it's over. For now, just walk and act normally." Speaking of normal.. "Oh no no, you two...you don't seem like you have very strong tastes in pumpkin. No no, I know a person with good pumpkin sense when I see one...and it's not you two," he smiled to the two slytherin first years.


He straightened up and smiled to the two new...recruits? "Well...if that's settled...to the pumpkin patch we go." And with that, he disappeared out of the room with her, slipping the wand out to prepare.

Fia's eyes looked up to Mr. Masterson's and smiled. She noted the tone in his voice and the way he carried himself. He was there to protect his friend, LouAnn which was their whole intent from the time she left the party. She gave a firm nod of her head as she straightened up and walked with the group towards the door and took off as soon as they disappeared.

So many things were happening at once that they all started to blur together, causing LouAnn to lose some of her ability to think straight. That was certainly not good for a girl like LouAnn either. She was able to draw her attention to Rafe, though, and she listened as he told her a little joke to try and calm her down. It ended up being so cute, that she laughed, although, the laugh came out more as a half laugh, half-sob more than anything. A few more tears trickled down LouAnn's cheeks. Running from country to country was one thing, but being chased and hunted by your own friends was a completely different kind of torture.

LouAnn sniffled three quick times the nodded when Mr. Masterson told her to be strong. "Okay," she softly answered, her eyes flickering to the ground as she walked. She was about to go into the Forbidden Forest...with no wand whatsoever. Nice. She trusted Mr. Masterson, though.

Evelyn's mouth dropped. They didn't have...what? Good pumpkin sense? Pfft...Evelyn had perfect pumpkin sense! Red Alert! Need to think of something fast! Think think think THINK...watching the group leave, she looked toward Destiny. "Got any ideas?" she asked before following the group out, staying a little behind though so the Groundskeeper wouldn't spot them, forgetting all about the Hufflepuff boy that was still there. Hmmm...an alliance would be good though...

Pumpkin tastes? Whaaat? Destiny was very fond of pumpkins for his information. Her favorite pie just happened to be pumpkin! 'I do like pumpkins!' she yelled at the groundskeeper. He was not getting away that easily. Well I guess he did get away that easily since he just left. 'He left!?'

Stunned, Destiny had no idea what to do. 'We could go straight to Kazi? Tell him that Masterson took her!' she whispered as she ran to catch up with Evelyn.

Evelyn paused for a moment. That was a good idea. But she was sure that maybe 'Kazi' would want to know where Mr. Masterson was taking LouAnn, and she wasn't really sure that the pumpkin patch was where they were really headed. "We'll go to him if we lose track of the others..." she whispered quickly before looking around and sprinting off towards the group. They were falling behind!

Emily skipped down to the library with the large red tome she had been seen reding, a red bookmark stuck out from 3/4 through the book. At the door of the library she slowed down, it was rude to run in a library. She quietly made her way to the corner and set the book down on one of the tables. holding her skirt as she sat down she opened the book to the marked page. She began to read, for the past few days she had been absorbed by the large red tome. She went nowhere without it. Proffessor svensson had lent it to her so she could study up on transfiguration, she really wanted to be and animagus.

Emily had been at the library for two hours, reading the whole time, she now only had a few pages left. She stretched her arms up above her head and yawned, while yawning she slid right off of her chair. Emily stood up and rubbed her now sore rear and looked at the clock in the library, she still had a little time so she stayed standing upo while she finished the last few pages.

When emily finished the pages she decided to run up to proffessor svenssons office to give hium back the book, she hoped he would be there.

Lorcan looked around to see if he recognised anyone. He made his way over to a free table and looked to see if Lexi had followed him. He hadn't managed to say anything at all since they had left the courtyard, he was still too embarrassed. What possessed you to kiss her, you idiot?! he asked himself silently.

He sat down and finally looked at Lexi. "Are you ok? I'm sorry, that was stupid." he whispered, a note of desperation in his voice.

Silly boys! "Of course I'm okay. You just caught me off guard is all." she whispered back to him with a sweet smile on her face. She had been shocked by his forward behavior and didn't know what to do or say at the moment. Lexi then grabbed her bag and dug out a quill and some parchment.

Lorcan looked at her as she rooted in her bag, feeling slightly relieved. "So you didn't mind then? When I, y'know?". He looked away from her swiftly, retrieving his wand and his chess piece from his bag. He concentrated on the spell and caused the bishop to cross the table and nudge her hand.

Lexi smiled brightly and blushed a light pink shade again. She shook her head and said quietly, "No, I didn't mind." She giggled as Lorcan's bishop nudged her hand. She then pulled out her half eaten peep and cast the spell on it, causing it to hop around, headless, making a gargling peep noise around the bishop.

Lorcan nodded. She didn't mind. That's lucky! |He watched her giggling at the bishop and the bunny. She looked very pretty. He sighed and then whispered, rather sadly, "Don't worry, I won't do it again."

His concentration on the bishop had slipped and it wandered to the edge of the table. It fell to the floor with a loud clatter and he blushed. He disappeared under the table to retrieve it. Setting it back on the table top he glanced around to see if anyone had been disturbed by the noise.
