Rafe was slightly bummed again. "Yeah, but it was a fun match! I mean hopefully we'll get better. The team was practially made up of first years!" Rafe shrugged as he pulled out his parchment and quill.

"See, I am the opposite, do the homework and ask questions later," Rafe said firmly. "Class is just boring a lot of times, I would rather do the work rather than be lectured at." Rafe smiled, he wasn't exactly one to argue with an older student.

It looked like gossip was going to happen between these two as Shana asked questions about this Fyo character. He couldn't help but roll his eyes. Girls, he thought has he shook his head.

'Something like that. I think it began with an A.' Destiny had no idea what the girls name was. 'You don't think..' Well if it was Jake doing all the killings, then that could explain why that girl hasn't been to any classes.

'Permanent ink? Maybe. Somewhere in my bag.' Maybe it would be a good time to clean out her bag anyway. Picking her bag off the floor, Destiny dumped everything out onto the table. Balled up pieces of parchment, quills, and books were everywhere. 'This was a mess.' She started to dig through the pile to separate what was good and what was trash. 'Hey! Here is that chocolate frog I was looking for.' How long ago was that?

Lucy chuckled at his words. He would be helping damsels in distress.

"Ahh, Quidditch...too bad about the match...I shouted your name..real loud! Did you catch it by any chance?" Lucy said with a smile, remembering shouting in the stands and meeting Whitney.

"Yeah, Fyo is definitely awesome! Oh, he just mentioned being friends with you...we were partners in Potions class a couple of days ago, and yeh..." Lucy didn't want to go into the details of the class--it consisted of her and Fyo drinking love potions and falling for each other. It was quite embarrasing.

"I don't think...what?" she asked, shaking her head. Curious on what Destiny was trying to say, even though she may herself know what the girl was talking about, Evelyn picked up the quill and decided to finish her Arithmancy homework reeeeeaaally quick. Once done with that, on to Muggle Studies!

It was good she moved her parchment too, seeing as Destiny dumped the contents of her entire bag onto the desk. "No really." she said sarcastically, raising a brow at her friend. "And how long has that been in there?" she pointed to the chocolate frog that fell out. Suddenly she remembered the one that Josh gave her, still under her pillow. Not that that was weird...or anything...pfft...totally wasn't.

'You know..' Destiny really didn't want to say it, but it didn't seem like Evelyn knew what she was talking about. Leaning in closer to Evelyn, since the library was getting pretty full, Destiny whispered 'The reason we haven't seen that girl is because she is dead? I'm pretty sure she was a HufflePuff.' Shouldn't the school send letters home or something? There is a killer on the loose!

Back to her wonderful mess of a bag. Trash, trash, trash. So far the trash pile was bigger than the not trash pile. 'How long as it been?' Counting on her fingers, Destiny came to a conclusion. 'I lost it in October.' Hmm, is it still good?

"Yea, she was a Hufflepuff. That much I'm certain of. Think she was a seventh year too. Maybe sixth year?" What if the girl was dead? It would explain her absence. Rubbing the back of her neck, she stared with a bored expression at her parchment. 'Stupid poem. Stupid shoes. Stupid Muggle Studies!' Giving up on trying to think of anything to write for the poem, she started shifting through Destiny's stuff on the table.

'What...is that?' Either it was a piece of parchment, or something else, she did NOT want to know. "October?" Evelyn asked in disbelief. She lost that in October. Wow."Definitely time to clean this out Destiny."

Fallon walked into the library to meet Satine. She knew this was going to be a hard thing to tell one of her friends, but she was going to talk to her mother so that she could stay at least through the summer. She knew that would mean not complaining when the time came to move. She sat at an empty table and started to strum her fingers on it as she waited.

How long as it been since she had seen that HufflePuff girl? Probably that Ancient Runes/Arithmancy class. 'Maybe she just transfered out, because of all the killings.' Way to be optimistic. Well until she hears otherwise, Destiny will go with that.

'What is this?' Destiny started poking the thing with her wand. 'Oh its just parchment.' Really really old parchment. 'It looks like something ate it.' She held the 'parchment' with two fingers, until something started crawling out of it. 'A spider!' she yelled rather loudly. She threw the parchment onto the floor and raised her foot. 'It was a spider.' she laughed as she crushed the parchment, not knowing that the spider had actually got away.

Satine hurried into the Library and glanced around trying to find Fallon. She was so excited to talk to her friend...this was the only time Satine truly felt like herself...with her friends...she flicked her wand as she walked and pulled her dulled red hair up into a twist...it had started dulling recently as the clouds in her head began to subside.

She spotted Fallon and hurried over to the empty table. She could instantly tell that something was wrong and sat down after giving Fallon a quick hug.

"Hey girl!" she said after the hug...."the note you sent seemed urgent is everything okay?" she said with a calm voice. ....she figured it was best to get right to the point...that was Satine never beating around the bush.

Fallon looked up as she heard Satine's familiar voice. "Hey Satine," she said returning the hug. "You're hair's dulled a bit." Fallon let out a deep sigh when Satine asked her that question. "Not really. To get straight to the point, my mom wants me to move to Florida with her and my grandparents. I have to talk to my cousin Charlie and my mom to see if I can stay with him here in London through the summer. I really want to stay the whole term though." Fallon could feel her eyes watering up again just thinking about it. She would still have to tell her story two more times. She still had to tell Nate and Evan. She was really dreading telling Evan this.

Instantly Satine's mouth hung open...she was in complete shock...and was speechless for the first time in a long time. She just shook her head back and forth for a few moments and patted Fallon's hand with hers...it was Satine's way of consoling Fallon while the news sunk in. She felt like she couldn't breath for a few moments.

Then suddenly she hugged Fallon again and pulled back with tears in her eyes. "Why? I mean....where would you go to school then?...Surely you can find a place to stay during the summer..." she paused and then had an idea.

"I'm sure my parents wouldn't mind you staying at our house this summer or even over the breaks so that we can see you...Florida is just too far away..."

"Have you told Iris and Aaron yet?" she said with a concerned look...she hoped Fallon wasn't having to repeat this over and over and over again.

Fallon held back her tears the best she could, that was until she saw the ones in Satine's eyes. "Somewhere in America I guess." Fallon said shrugging her shoulders. "My mom would never go for a whole term. She likes to control my life. I'll be lucky if she let's me stay with Charlie over the summer. She doesn't like him very much as it is. Maybe if I just go willing for a term, she'll let me come back to Hogwarts and graduate with you guys."

"Yeah, I've told Iris and Aaron. Iris was in the Common Room when I got the letters and Aaron showed up not long after. The only people I haven't told yet is my friend, Nate, and- Evan." The tears fell from her eyes as she said Evan's name.

"Well, we'll figure something out...I mean we can all come visit you again and we can write every day...and maybe after just one term, she'll let you come back." Satine said with a smile always trying to find the up side to anything. "and if she won't let you stay with Charlie, you could stay with one of us or we could just come invade your house and annoy your mom..." she said with a mischievious smile.

"You haven't told Evan...o no....when are you going to...do you want me to come along for moral support?" she said letter her smile fade away...she knew this was going to be hard....Satine always lived through her friends when it came to boys since none had become interested in her yet...she could only imagine how hard the next step was going to be.

Then she paused and had a crazy idea...."Here's what we could do...we could just come kidnap you on your way to the American school...you're mom would never know...." she said the idea as a crazy thought but on one hand it could work...I mean right? she didn't want to loose a friend in only their second year....

Fallon laughed through her tears as Satine brought up invading her house. "I'll try that if she doens't let me stay with Charlie. She would probably let me stay with one of you guys over Charlie."

"I don't know. I haven't been able to find him and tell him. Thanks for asking, but I think I'd rather do it alone. He might take it a little better." Fallon knew he would probably take it hard to begin with, but knew that he would hold back if someone else was there.

Fallon laughed again at Satine's wild suggestion. "That would be great, except my mom is excellent at Transfiguration and wouldn't think twice about turning you into something horrible and ugly looking."

"Hmm, maybe." Taking one of the older parchments that was in the 'trash' pile, Evelyn started to make a paper airplane, thinking how weird muggles were to actually have built something without magic that could fly. 'Nah, there has got to be some kind of magic they used.' Shaking her head, she continued on with her masterpiece.

Spider...

Just the word of it made her jump up from her chair so quickly that it fell over and she ran behind a bookshelf. "Crap. My wand." With her heart pounding, she peaked back over to the table, looking around for any sign of the spider. "Is it gone?" she asked, her gaze landing on her wand that was still on the table.

Destiny turned around to Evelyn but she was gone. 'Evelyn!?' Spotting her behind the bookshelf, Destiny laughed. 'Yeah its gone. I think I got it.' So, Evelyn was scared of spiders, eh? Bending down to pick up the piece of parchment, that now had a footprint on it, Destiny felt something crawling on her hand. Slowly lifting her hand close to her face, she screamed. 'Its on me! Its on me!' Not really knowing what to do, Destiny shook her hand and the spider flew onto the table. Before the spider could even think about touching her again, Destiny grabbed her wand and pointed it, 'Immobulus!' 'Phew.' 'Okay, now its frozen!'

"Good." she said, walking out from behind the bookshelf and towards the desk. Bad mistake. She should've just stayed there because the next thing she heard Destiny screaming that it was on her. Running full speed back to around the bookshelf, she scooted down on the ground, bringing her knees up to her chest. 'It's going to get me. It's gunna get me. I'mgoingtodie!' Her breathes turned quick and shallow, almost hyperventilating, as she closed her eyes.

It was frozen? Don't freeze it! "What do you mean it's frozen!? KILL IT! NOOW!" You don't freeze a spider! They shouldn't even exist on this planet! They should all be extinct and... whatever is worse than extinct.

'Kill it!? How do I kill it!?' This is going to be so gross. Picking up her History of Magic book, she didn't like that subject anyway, Destiny slammed it onto the desk, killing the spider. 'Got 'em!' Stupid spiders. 'Yeah its safe now. Well, unless I have a spider colony in my bag.'

Picking up her bag, Destiny turned it upside down and started to shake it, making sure she got all them pesky little spiders. Nothing in there! Taking the pile of not trash, she started to re-pack her bag, putting her hand right on the book that she smashed the spider with. She stuck out her tongue in disgust, 'Eww, gross.' Good thing for all that parchment trash on the table. She cleaned her book and shoved it into her nice clean, spider-free bag. 'I'll never let my bag get messy again. I promise.'

Shana nodded. "Why did he talk about me though ?" she eye'd the girl. He didn't usually talk about her to his friends. "So how was potions class then ? He didn't do anything I'd have to report to his girlfriend, right ?" she smirked.

She turned her head to face Rafe. "Uhh, Yeah class ar boring but so is studying who wants to study when you can pull pranks or do other fun stuff ?" she giggled leaning on her palms.

"Yes, we will def try to get her to let you stay with one of us if that's the only way for us to see you this summer." she said with a smile already deciding to send an owl to her parents to let them know...if all else, Fallon could stay with her aunt, Iridesca....she made a mental note to send them both owls asking ASAP.

"Well, I understand...I'm sure he'll take it okay, I mean, especially if you get to stay here this summer...and we can owl you everyday....we better make sure one of us has a strong owl that can carry twenty letters a day that far...." she said with a wink and a small giggle as she imagined a little owl carrying a huge bag of letters to America....and instantly changed the subject...she really didn't know how a guy would take that...she was the only one of her friends that didn't have a boy friend yet...what was wrong with her...o well, that was an issue for another day...today Fallon was the most important thing to her...

Satine made an ugly face and giggled a little bit..."Imagine if you're mom made my ears huge like that muggle elephant, Dumbo..." she could just imagine it...." then I could just fly our letters to you everyday...."

Then Satine had another crazy idea...."Well, this settles it...we will just have to have a going away party for you before the term is up....." she pulled out a piece of parchment and started making plans...this was her forte and what she wanted to be when she grew up...."Let's go ahead and start making a guest list so I can make sure to invite everyone important to you."

Fallon nodded her head as she noticed Satine going through things in her mind. She laughed at the thought of an owl bringing her all of those letters. "Of course I would make sure to write you guys everyday. I'd miss you too much not to hear from all of you every day." She smiled at Satine, who truly was a great friend.

She then imagined Satine with huge elephant ears. "That would be quite a sight to see!" Fallon started to laugh and started to cry again, but this time it was from her laughter.

Fallon smiled at Satine when she suggested a going away party. "That would be great!" She started to think of people to add to the list. "The obvious people are Aaron, Iris, and Evan. Then there's my friend Nate and his girlfriend Ella, and Kat, she's a Gryffie." Fallon grinned at the thought of it. She tried to remember who else they should invite.

He wasn't younger than her? Pheww, that eliminates nearly half of the boys in Slytherin. Blake tried racking his brain but failed. Who could she particularly like? Well Nikki was cute so a boy would be stupid not to fancy her....is he stupid? For not liking her...liaaak that? Slumping in his chair Blake frowned, "I give up!" This was tougher than he thought it would be and kind of fun too. Hehe. "Does he like you back?" Guess he doesn't or else she'd be on cloud nine.

Aaaah, his muscle were aching! Sighing, Blake stretched his arms and gave a momentary look around. Ohh, who's she? The face looks familiar..that can't be.. "SHANA!" Blake hollered and immediately turned pink on realizing he was in a library. She was sitting just a few inches away with a boy and a girl he didn't recognize, "Pssst, you dyed your hair?" Oh boy, he did say he'll dye his own neon green if she dyed her locks. NUUU, it's so not happening.

Taking in a deep breath then letting it out, Nikki smiled. She turned to look at Blake and shurgged. "I have no clue." She said. "You-" But she was cut off as Blake spotted Shana sitting a couple tables away. Urgh! Why did she have to show up everytime Nikki was around Blake! It was totally unfair. "Nevermind." She mumbled, looking away. Should she just leave? Blake was obvioisly going to ignore her with Shana around.

Shana nodded her head. "Hey Blakey. Sorry I'll be back in just a sec." she whispered to Rafe and Lucy, they seemed liek they needed some alone time anyway. "You betcha, Dont worry you dont have to die your hair neon green til the summer." she giggled. "So you like ?" she said letting her currently curly brown hair sit on her shoulders. Yeah so what if she'd only asked him if he liked it to spite Nikki.

Looking up as Shana walked over towards Blake and her, Nikki raised an eyebrow. "Dye your hair neon green?" She asked Blake. "Hmm...it certainly would pop." She said smiling a little. "And I thought you thought that curly hair was stupid." Nikki said turning to Shana. She wasn't exactly trying to start a fight, she was just wondering.
