Fia sat staring...no watching Miles as he gave his lovely speech. Sad that he didn't like someone? NOPE! Not sad at all. She slowly began to shake her head no, her mouth gaping open as she was just...in awe at the moment. If there was anything, she was in agreement about a sure thing and not...his poetic moment of speaking about a FLING. "No...noo...flings."

She went back to staring at the paper in front of her, the one that contained her homework as he spoke about the chocolate...and Theo. "He...takes a lot of pills?" Okay! So there were a lot of things about Theo she didn't know, but...no one was judging but..."Is that...normal...you know to take...a lot of pills?" She didn't take things like that and as far as she'd known, neither did Miles.

Miles glanced at Fia as he spoke and saw her shake her head...wait why? Oh she's answering the question. What had he thought she was saying...? Shrugging it off he smiled at her words, "Well at least we're on the same page now if only the rest of the female population was." Grinning he nudged Fia playfully.

As she questioned Theo's pills however he frowned slightly. Weren't they dating? Shouldn't she know this? "Well...from what I can remember he took like one three times a day or something. But....you didn't know this?" Hmm...seems Theo wasn't being totally forthcoming. "I thought you did or I wouldn't have said anything. Its not my place. I know dad takes some pills though for medical purposes...maybe Theo's is the same....?" He looked down at the table and shrugged, "It was while I was looking for you in the great hall, we got to talking and I nearly died laughing when he told me about his tail and ears." It was still funny. He laughed and shook his head, "The kid needs to learn when not to mouth off it seems."

Rafe still had a few more pictures to take. He was leaving the study room where he just got one picture, and he heard some more voices coming from the corner. Well, it's worth a shot, Rafe thought. He quickly turned the corner, took a picture of the two people laughing and a blinding FLASH was all, but left behind as Rafe continued on his way out of the library.

As Fia was nudged, she turned back to look at her best friend. HER BEST FRIEND. "I'll have you know the female population differs from me and...I happen to enjoy everything you do...and being with you....more than..." you know. Okay. She was talking too much.

And then more came out about Theo and her eyes widened. She knew absolutely NOTHING about the Slytherin and here her best friend knew more than she did. What was up with that? Obviously she was not asking the right questions. "Well, we are not...dating. He...hasn't really asked yet." The only thing they'd done was kiss on the cheek, nothing more, but he seemed to like her and she liked him.

"You were looking for meeee....OH.MY.GAWD!" Okay! They were in the library and she quickly covered her mouth as she was in shock. Her eyes grew wide as she now completely turned to look at Miles.

"He has ears? And...and a tail," she asked behind her hand. Her green eyes sat and stared at Miles and then slowly turned to look at the table. "He..always has a hat on around me." OH.MY.GOD! He's deformed. Some sort of elfy animal but taller than an elf. "But I don't remember the ears before and I never paid attention to his bum."

She was in disbelief at the moment and added. "At least I know you don't have a tail." OOPS! Her eyes shifted from side to side as she just gave herself away. She turned more away from Miles to hide the blushing smile on her face that was forming. Of course she checked out such things to make sure no one had a "Kick me" sign on his back or something...among other things.

And then out of nowhere came a rather bright flash of light. Fia turned back behind her in a quick manner but there was nothing there. "What was that?"

Miles laughed and looked at her, "Awww Fi, didn't know you were the sentimental sort." Yes make a joke of it cause this was getting weirder. He smirked and nudged her again, "That's alright I like spending time with you. You let me do what I want."

"Well..yeah...I wanted to show you what i'd done but...you weren't there..." They weren't dating? THEY WEREN'T DATING!! He wanted to stand up and dance but instead hid the pleasure...why was he so happy about that anyway?...behind a smile. Seeing her horrified look he sighed. As much as he didn't want to aid the poor boys hold on Fia he couldn't let her make her own assumptions, "Well...he aquired them thanks to a spell by a professor apparently. He's not like deformed or anything." There...my good deed for the day don't ask for any more.

He smirked as he heard her comment about his bum and grinned when she tirned red, "Why Fi...checking me out?" He said teasingly. A bright light flashed and he looked over his shoulder, "I haven't the foggiest...am I that famous already?" He joked with a grin.

Fia's eyes narrowed playfully as she tried to hide the smile. Miles was the one person who could make her feel better and the one person she couldn't be totally mad at. "I have my moments," she said and then balled up her fist in the same playful way and brought her hands up where he could see her fists. "But don't you dare tell anyone or you'll get it."

She then let her fists go and placed her hands back on the table, her eyes followed shortly. Miles wanted to show her something and...she wasn't there. That was not like her and she'd disappointed her best friend. She listened to him explain the ears and tail of Theo and she began shaking her head. What did the boy do to deserve that and why were professors giving students such things. Was that...normal? Was anything normal around them? But still, why hadn't Theo told her...at least she would have understood. She just thought he liked wearing hats like she did.

And then her eyes widened again and her cheeks began to blush...once again. She tried to hide the smile that was forming on her lips but it was just sooo hard. Was she checking him out? Maybe...YEAH! WHOA! What was that thought...and the words that were forming from her mouth? "And if I was, what are you gonna do about it?" HA! Probably nothing! That's right!

Miles laughed and put up his hands in defense, "Nope no wouldn't dream of it." Lowering them he smirked, "Besides who would believe me..." Grinning he popped another piece of chocolate in his mouth.

It was when he saw her blush again and hide a smile at his words he grinned, "What will I...." he smirked and thought for a moment. He knew she was thinking he wouldn't do anything cause he normally wouldn't but this fell right into what his conscience wanted.... He decided to test the waters a bit because THEY WEREN'T TOGETHER!! Leaning forward he wrapped his arms around her tightly and kissed her on the cheek. Chuckling he stood up and...RUNNNNN. he bolted for the door laughing. "Catch me if you can!!!" Oh who cares if this was the library....

Everything happened sooooo fast. The tightening of his arms around her, the chuckling and running off but...HE KISSED HER CHEEK!!!

Fia sat there...stunned...staring off thinking about...Miles. Slowly she reached her hand up to the VERY cheek he kissed and she smiled. If it was anything like the cheek kissing that she was doing before...

Bigger smiles!

She snapped back into reality and moved as fast as she could, closing her books, grabbing her homework, quill, parchment. Forget homework. "I'm cominnnngggg!!!" Ohhhhh they were giong to be in soooo much trouble for running in the library but, she had to catch up with him and fast.

Torin felt like he was drowning in a pile of books. It certainly looked that way too judging by the amount of texts that were spread out on the table.

It was Care of Magical Creatures that he was focusing on now. And the reading was very boring. So boring that he could barely keep his eyes open. What was it with him and getting tired from studying? Maybe he needed to drink more coffee or something.

Though right now he would settle for just closing his eyes for a bit. So he rested his head on the book and shut his eyes before drifting off.

"Tired, Torin?" A soft voice hummed next to the boy. Peyton smiled at him. He was cute when he studied. Keeping her comments to herself, she shook her head "I don't think a book is the best pillow"

He opened his eyes when suddenly he heard someone calling his name. Keeping his head down still, he looked at Peyton and smiled. "Long time no see." Where had that girl gone off to?

Then he decided that she was right about a text book not making for a good pillow and decided to get up again, giving a good stretch as he did. "Too much studying. All I do is study. I could be seeing my girlfriend and instead I'm stuck in a library."

"Mhmm" Peyton smiled and nodded to him "Hello" she grinned before sitting next to him. She watched him stand up and giggled softly "Seems so" she wasn't going to admit she'd been watching him study for ages. "I'm sure just chilling out a little will help you out" she nodded.

He nodded at her. She was right about that one for sure. "So you want to go hang out somewhere for a bit then?" He needed to get some fresh air. And besides he hadn't seen her for a while anyway. Not since the start of Term. And now here it was almost Christmas!

"Sure" she grinned and nodded too. "I haven't seen you for a while" she looked down and smiled before gathering up her stuff and stuffing it into her bag. "You need some help tidying up?" she grinned.

"Yep, I've been busy and distracted. And there has been a lot of drama." He watched her as she started packing things away. "Sure, that would be great," he replied at her offer. She was always so nice to him.

"Drama?" Putting his books into a pile, she glanced up at him and smiled kindly before slipping his books into his bag and then tidying his pencils away without hesitation.

Wow, she was thorough. It was pretty impressive. He had to turn his gaze away from what he was doing so that he could focus on what he was trying to tell her. "Oh yeah. Well, there is Shana that wants me to break up with Brody. And then there is me and Reese fighting all the time. And the fact that she kissed me.. even though we are both trying to forget that that ever happened. And there is Sylvia and Xander who are being stubborn and not admitting that they like each other. Raven is thinking of breaking up with my friend 'cause he's never around and... Tammy and Warren fell out. Tammy's also upset 'cause I'm her best friend and she's leaving this Term and she doesn't want to. She wants to stay here with me and her other friends." That was it. He thought. Was he missing more? "Oh yeah, and people keep taking random pictures of me. I thought that I was supposed to be the paparazzi at this school."

"Ah huh.." Peyton frowned at the pencil case and then shook her head to clear her thoughts "Kay.. drama sounds like the right word for it" she nodded wih a smile. Then she giggled "Pictures. Sounds fun" she grinned "Maybe we could both be the paparazzi?" she suggested with a giggle "It'd be fun"

"You have no idea." It drove him nuts sometimes. And he definitely wasn't going to tell her about Reese putting lipstick on him when he was asleep. "Maybe. That would be cool. Yeah, we can be paparazzis together!" He loved the sound of that.

"Sounds interesting" she grinned and eyed him "Shall we go running around Hogwarts being paparazzi then?" she grinned "We can take our bags back to the common room first, though. Peyton giggled and then handed Torin his bag with his stuff all packed away.

Yeah, it was a great plan. He was glad that she liked it. "Okay, then," he said as he took the bag from her. "After you then." He was trying to be the gentleman and let her lead the way. hehe

She shook her head as he told her to go ahead and lead the way. Picking up her own bag, she threw it over her shoulder and made her way out of the library with a smile "Thanks"

"Welcome, love," he replied as he followed her outside of the library and towards the Common Room. "So where you want to go after we drop off our stuff?"

Destiny walked into the library 'Here snakey, snakey, snakey!' she turned to look at Laken 'Is that how you would call a snake?'

Laken contained her laughter when she entered the library. "He just goes by Goo. And, please don't call him Goo Goo, it's gets annoying quick." Laken explained to Destiny.
