Rumours have now
surfaced that in addition to Warner Bros.'
acquisition of
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the company behind the
Harry Potter series has trademarked the other two of J.K. Rowling's supplemental works,
Quidditch Through the Ages and
The Tales of Beedle the Bard.
The Tales of Beedle the Bard are no surprise as they have been featured in the seventh
Harry Potter film,
Deathly Hallows, but Quidditch is new. Do note that Warner Bros. hasn't confirmed this, nor does it mean there will be a movie based off the book. Warner Bros.' has apparently trademarked both books and many of its characters, stories, and Quidditch teams for the following:

Given the list above, there's no knowing if they will be made to live-action films or television series, or any of the subjects above. SnitchSeeker is currently inquiring on the authenticity of this news with Warner Bros. and will update when we hear more about it.
For now, a
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them film is in the works, with Rowling as screenwriter. Nothing else has been confirmed.
