| | |  UPDATED: JKR presents prizes at a flower show
The Sunday Mail reports that J.K.Rowling made a suprise appearance at the annual flower show at Aberfeldy's Williamson Hall. The mum-of-three JK presented the prizes and drew gales of laughter when she gave one winner the wrong trophy. Quote:
Schoolgirl Samatha Deeks, nine, said: "My friends will all be jealous. I got her to sign my certificate and it's something I will always keep."
Her mum, Cathy, 41, said: "Everyone was thrilled. She is really beautiful.
"We often see her locally shopping in the Co-op but no one bothers her. I think that's why she came today - it's her way of thanking us for letting her get on with things when she's here with her family."

Well, what a shock that would be? I must say if JK turned up at our local flower show she would only be greeted by my gran asking 'You write Barry Trotter, don't you?'. Ah, bless her.

oh i wonder what my reaction would be if i saw jk rowling in a flower shop. O_o
but it is very nice that they didn't bother her. I bet she was happy because of that, feeling like a normal person and all.

That's nice that she came and handed out the prizes. How nice. I think that's great that nobody bothers her in the shop as well. I mean sometimes people forget to remember that even though she is famous, she still has a normal life that she has to live.
