As we told you earlier this week, a request to ban Harry from schools was voted on today … the result: Harry Potter books will remain on library shelves in Gwinnett County schools!
Members of the Georgia Board of Education voted today (without discussion!) in favor of the Gwinnett County school board’s decision to deny requests from Laura Mallory to remove Harry Potter books the county’s school libraries.
Gwinnett is undecided as to whether or not she will make another appeal. | |

Honestly, some people are just stupid. Harry Potter is wonderful! I think the people who try to get it banned or have banned it are absolutely ridiculous. HP is a wonderful book with morals for kids to learn and understand, and it also has gotten many people to read. HP is a world-wide phenomenon, and some people should just learn to accept that.
