As we told you earlier this week, a request to ban Harry from schools was voted on today … the result: Harry Potter books will remain on library shelves in Gwinnett County schools!
Members of the Georgia Board of Education voted today (without discussion!) in favor of the Gwinnett County school board’s decision to deny requests from Laura Mallory to remove Harry Potter books the county’s school libraries.
Gwinnett is undecided as to whether or not she will make another appeal. | |

I still don't know why anyone would want to ban something that inspired kids who live for video games to start reading again....it just amazes me....atleast the school board realized that the Potter books are good and decided to keep them in the school...
