Fantastic Beasts series star Eddie Redmayne received his OBE from Queen Elizabeth II during an investitures ceremony at Windsor Castle on Friday morning. The Academy Award- and Tony-winning actor received the honour for his "services to drama" well over a year ago, but now just has been given the opportunity to actually attend the ceremony.

Many congratulations to Eddie on the honour. One thing of note - this is NOT a Knighthood, only the Order of the British Empire accolade, which is given out to many professionals in the arts, sciences, and political spaces. Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling is an OBE recipient as well, of which she was honoured back in 2001.
