| | |  Deathly Hallows: Part 2 breaks midnight opening records, makes $43.5 million in U.S.
Merely hours after the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 in theatres and IMAX across the globe, and the finale already shattered box office records. The last Harry Potter film broke the midnight opening records, taking in $43.5 million alone in the U.S. and Canada, and $126 million globally from Thursday evening's showings. 
The film is predicted to break the weekend box office record, currently held by Warner Bros' 2008 release of The Dark Knight, the second installment in Christopher Nolan's Batman series, which made $158.4 million three summers ago.
Deathly Hallows: Part 2 also broke the IMAX sales record for Thursday night opening, making $2 million domestically. We will have final weekend box office records in a matter of days.

After seeing all of the people at the theater(20 screening rooms) lined up at 8:15 for the midnight showing, and all of the people who went to see DH1 followed by DH2, the box office take should shatter every record made and set a bar so high that no other film will catch it, hopefully, ever!
