Well anyway, Maddie met up with a friend at the lake, this boy, whom we shall call Squirrel Boy, because a squirrel stole his hat *giggle*

Squirrel boy wanted to go swimming in the lake.

Okay you get it. Lake = Bad.

Maddie told him that no way she was getting in that lake.

He did everything but get down on his knees and beg, to try to convince her, and when she still refused, he picked her up, over his shoulder and tossed her into the lake!

That wouldn't have been so had he not transfigured her school robes into a pink bathing suit.

You heard me. PINK.

Frilly, girly pink.

Maddie is not a tom girl by any means, but she has spent most of her life with the male species. So I suppose some of their thinking rubbed off on her.

Crazy? Perhaps.

But we all need a healthy dose of crazy now and then.

So back to the lake.

After Maddie got herself tossed into the water, she tried to kick Squirrel Boy, but he fled.

So she used that as an opportunity to escape.

Then, Squirrel Boy's little fruit bat Cookie, ate Maddie's hair!!

Squirrel boy said it is because Maddie smells like chocolate. So she must taste like chocolate too.

.....

That was the only time she had ever regretted smelling like chocolate.

Poor Cookie.

Okay, so I realize it's been a while since I talked about New Girl and Tree Boy.

But Maddie finally met New Girl in the Slytherin Common Room.

She didn't even know that she shared a house with this girl.

Every single thing she thought about that girl ended up being true!

She was pretty, older and one of the sweetest girls she had ever met.

But of course, this only made her feel worse for monopolizing Tree Boy's feelings.

She decided then and there that she should forget about Tree Boy and focus her attention on being the best girlfriend she could to Boyfriend.

He deserved that much from her didn't he?

By the way, New Girl needs a different name, something nicer.

Why, do you ask? What is the reason for such joy?

Well, I will tell you why!

Because Maddie's long lost cousin, the reclusive squirrel, has returned!!

Usually Maddie doesn't dance, except with boys of the Tree variety.

But today, she did quite a cute jig. It was very amusing.

She failed to make sure that no one was watching, however, when she turned around, she did see a cat scurrying off.

Stupid nosy cat.

Needless to say, she has no idea what to do with herself.

She sat on the end of his bed, continuously asked him if he needed anything.

Anything at all! She would get him anything he wanted.

She would fly to Italy and get him spaghetti!

She would swim across the ocean to bring him....... something from Africa...

But he assured her that he was all right about three times, but that still didn't get rid of the feeling that she needed to take care of him.

I told Maddie that she is a bit obsessed with her cousin, but she didn't listen to me.

Let me just say, whoever ends up with Maddie, will be one lucky guy. Cause she will do pretty much anything for him. *nods*

That was funny.

Why?

Why doesn't life let you plan?

Why does fate take and twist your emotions until the one thing that you thought you wanted, is not what you wanted at all.

As the end of the term draws closer, Maddie is faced with a difficult decision.

Up until now, she had been trying to keep herself from doing anything that would hurt another person.

But now, it's become all too clear to her what she has to do.

Someone is going to get hurt, it's inevitable. It has to happen. That is life.

Maddie knows that this is for the best. How can she tell someone that she loves him, if her heart is somewhere else?

It's hardly fair to him.

The person he is supposed to be with is out there, and all she is doing now is holding him back.

Even if the one she has been thinking about doesn't want to be with her, she still has to do this.

She needs to let him go.

He needs to let her let him go.

And I need some chocolate, cause I'm so depressed.
