MY dream jobbbb is speech therapy for kiddos I'm working towards that, but its a long road as the Masters program I want to do is very competitive to get into. Lucky for me, my Linguistics degree is an accepted prerequisite for that program though!

So, my dream job since I was a little kid was to be a pathologist. I love the idea of being able to unlock the mysteries surrounding peoples lives and deaths by using the cells and tissues and organs that seem so similar within us all. It is like a giant medical puzzle that provides the answers to how people lived and died, and can help save lives and put away bad guys (because the forensic branch always seems the most fascinating).

However, this job is so far out of my reach I now have another dream. Currently, my dream job is some form of biomedical engineer - I'd love to work with the next generation of prosthesis and/or organ and tissue engineering. It's something I've always been fascinated by but not really considered until this year, when I decided to look at Masters degree programmes. I've got an undergraduate degree in biochemistry and some experience in engineering so I'm hoping to be able to marry the two together in one of the fastest growing disciplines in the world.

I would really like to work with animals. but not in a circus or a zoo, I generally think that they should be banned. I would like to work in a nature reserve or a rehabilitation center. there are no such large-scale projects in our country, and now there is no way to go somewhere to Africa. my dream is to actually visit nature reserves in Africa and observe animals in their natural environment.

Definitely a psychologist. But things didn't go that way and I ended up studying a bit of Forensic Psychology recently so I'm going to see what the future holds for me in this area.

Also, the lazy part of my says that being paid to watch watch shows and movies wouldn't be a bad thing either

I would love to own my own business in selling goods or being a shopkeeper. But my dream job has always been Archaeology. I love learning about all the history of the world. Haha, thanks to Wiki for the most part. Maybe I will try to learn Hieroglyphics in my spare time.

My dream job is to be a psychologist, but like more in the research side of things or being an academic or possibly doing assessments and things like that rather than doing therapy type stuff. But I went down a completely different path with my A levels and degree and it will be veeeeery expensive to shift gears now (though if I had a sudden windfall I definitely would pursue it haha). I do study the subject in my spare time though, like going through the A level syllabus and researching the aspects I find most interesting.

My other dream is to be a full-time author. I remember panicking once at school when they went around the room asking what everyone wanted to be when they grew up and I had no idea so I just blurted out 'author' and then I was like hmm actually that's not a bad shout. Since then it's always lingered in the back of my mind. And even though it is such a competitive industry and not at all practical (most authors write alongside another day job because it's not very lucrative unless you are very prolific or write extremely popular books) it does kind of feel like it's at least within reach for me compared to my other dream, so all my eggs are currently in the become-a-published-author basket, whoops.

Ahh my DREAM dream job is also probably author, tbh. I’ve been writing since I was a kid and still love it, and actually have a current project I would like to have published if I ever finish it.

My realistic dream job is actually something I’m very proud to say that I am actually doing now, which is being an equine-assisted psychotherapist. I’ve always wanted to work with animals. That looked like working toward being a veterinarian for the majority of my life, but a pivot in my early twenties led me to working with horses in a therapeutic setting. That then evolved to going back to school and getting a master’s degree in mental health counseling and - fast-forward a few years - I’m finally here, owning my own business and working in my dream job.

My dream job would probably be professional athlete, but I just never had what it took to pull that off.
