OHOHOHOHOHOH! I have a STORY to tell!

I met Liisa umm.... two years ago? Maybe longer than that? A year. SOMETHING. See time flies when you're having fun. Yes. Anyway. I learnt that she and I live about an hour from each other and she happened to have another SSer over for a visit. That SSer being Zoerawrr. Anyway, she came to meet me and have lunch one day while Zoe was in town and that was THAT. Hehehe.

The following weekend (or close to it) *I* had an SSer over to visit and I drove to her house to spend some time with her. Then it became like an every weekend thing for a while there. Turns out we are SO MUCH alike it would be CRIMINAL for us not to be RL friends. So yeah. I love my Liisa and that's OUR story.

About a year and a half ago, I got to meet Anna Banana at Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and since it was the first time either of us had been there I couldn't think of a way to make it any more MAGICAL [/cornypun]

Anna and I have been good friends since like...2008 or so? We met in the RP since we were both playing Gryffindor 1st years, and then next RP term we ended up both being named Prefect for Gryffindor, and we decided to have a little fun with our characters and started a love-hate relationship with them that eventually turned into the ship Canna Being prefects together definitely brought us much MUCH closer

Then, about two years ago, we both realized that we were going to Disneyworld for our vacations, at the same time. This was also the first summer WwoHP had been open, so we made plans to meet up there. It was SO MUCH FUNNNNN! I never in a million years had thought I'd actually get to meet one of my best friends from Snitchseeker. If someone had told me that when I first joined when I was like, 12 I probably would have thought they were crazy

Then, to top it off, we both headed to Disney and hadn't planned to meet up any other times after that--but that didn't stop us from bumping into each other at the Magic Kingdom AND Epcot the next two days TOTALLY on accident hahaha Small world?

I guess I should add a little snippet here about my RL friend who got me to join the site. If it weren't for my friend Elena, I wouldn't be here today She stopped visiting years ago and we haven't talked too much since, but we Facebook each other every once in a while to catch up

If it weren't for my good friend Amber I would never have joined SS in the first place. She was one of the first members, (MyCatJake...i think her name was) and since then I've become friends with other people through the site.

I'd say I'm pretty good friends with Tori and also because she and a friend of mine from College knew each other somewhat through a friend on Facebook and a circuit of friends in Edinburgh.

Heya So, as the more observant of you may have noticed, my best friend Kira is a member on SS - Fred is awesome. I introduced her to SS in April and we're both regular members However camera shy we each are, we eventually decided to put some pictures of us up on here. We had a lot of fun taking these, and it got even more excited when we'd just finished and my little sister walked it, and told us it was snowing (Let's just forget about the fact I screamed very loudly and Kira actually fell off my bed.... )

Look at the pics... You'll understand... And I was wearing a poncho... And a sombrero that I randomly bought in town with Abbi and Tizzi. BUT YEAH. IT SNOWED. But I think it's stopped now... Which made me depressed. Dx And I'm cold. My car wouldn't start, so I had to ride up here. It sucked. *shudders*

Oh oh! I have a story to share

So, when I first joined SS back in August of 2010 I was sort of just profile hoping when I came across a fellow newbie who had posted that they were bored and wanted to RP on their VMs. Not having anything else to do myself, I sent them a VM saying that I would be willing to RP with them whenever they came back online.

We then had our charries meet up in Madam Malkins where my girl, Kurumi, was looking at ties and from there we talked all the time on SS and RPed together. As we talked, we came to know that despite my living in Japan and her living in the States, that our homes are actually within an hour from each other and that we know a lot of the same places. For me, living overseas and away from home, it was nice to have someone to connect like that - something I never thought I would find through a Harry Potter site.

It has been a year and a half now since we met online, but we still jokingly refer to each other as SS Sistas

So, thank you Lex (Team ronmione) for being my first SS friend *loves all over you*

*feels the pressure* wow... Is it hot in here? There are so many people I want to talk about, Merlin.

Okay, okay. There are three people I know i wanna talk about.

First of all, my first friend on SS was lex... Team ronmione. She reached out to me when I was a newbie and sort of took me under her wing. I think that I owe Lex the most because she treated me amazingly, even though I was a newbie, which was scary. However, the number one reason why I owe so much to lex and appreciate her friendship so much is that she introduced me to Katherine.

It's weird, okay? You know... Having friends online that influence your life in ways that you would never expect. I've gone through so many hard times this year and Katherine has helped me through them all. She makes me laugh, smile and although I've never met her I trust Katherine more than some of my RL friends. Especially after everything that has happened between the two of us i dont think ive ever been mad at katherine. She is like family overseas. sweetpinkpixie

And my SS friends were all kind of interconnected. Lex introduced me to Kath who introduced me to Kat. It's like some weird SS circle. Kat, merlin help her, dealt with my very crazy Quidditch crazed first year. We were always friendly but over time she became a good friend of mine, who like Kath, is always there for me. She and I quite literally talk EVERYDAY. I think I talk to Kat more than my parents. Macavity

Oh, wow. I've literally met SO many amazing people here on SS that I don't even know where to begin.

Okay, well. One of my really close friends is Debbie (nogoodforyou). I initially was REALLY nervous about roleplaying but she's the one who actually encouraged me. In fact, I still remember my first RP with her. WOW. It was like ages ago! So, THANK YOU DEBS! We starting RPing with our MoM charries who are now engaged. So, YAY! Also, she made graphics for me..even when she didn't have a shop. Honestly, who does that? She's such an amazing person and I'm SUPER glad that she's my friend. Thank you, hun! For everything!

Another lovely person is Kita (hermionesclone). Okay, so she really is awesome. In fact, I still remember that she was the first person to leave me a UN because my VM's were disabled then. We've like known each other for over a year now and it's been great to know her. We even met a few months ago which was a fantastic experience. SO, YEAH. Thank you, KITA! You've made my time on SS so lovely. I luffs you so much hun <33

Annnnd, I want to give a HUGE shout out to Kira (Fred is awesome), Stef (bonnieginnyfan1), Yke (Mudbl00dpride), James (James_Potter), Sarah (Saz Hale), Abbi (WeasleyTwinsRock) and Allie (Wonderstruck).

Also, I've recently met Amanda (Mandana), Roro (BanaBatGirl) and Chris (Lollipop!). A huge shout out goes to them as well.

All of them are amazing people and it's been great to know them and hopefully, we stay in touch. <3

I've been here for over 4 years, it will be 5 in December and I have made loads of great friends, some sadly have left and other are still here, but I want to give a special shout out to a few of them.

Daughter Saz: My SS daughter and one of my best friends on SS, I think I have found a friend for live in my SS daugther.

Kristin: (SilverTiger) Okay so it took me over a year to remember your name, but you were one of my first SS friends and through the years our Character have been fun to play expecially when Simon gave crazy answers in your lessons.

Becky: (Becky) Another of my friends who has been here for me, we once played twin characters and I can safely say that was one of the best terms I have had, I hope to rp with you more.

Hera: (Hera) I first meet Hera just over a year ago now, but she has help me out greatly and I love going to her Herbology Lesson, Simon and Professor Bentley had a few great moments, but in all Hera is a great person and a great friend of mine and I hope we will stay friends for life.

There have been a lot more but if I listed everyone I would be here for a whole month if not longer, I have had so many great friends but instead I'll go by places I've been, to all those people who visit the SHH thread (TP as it was called) that was the first place I meet people and they made me feel welcome. then there is everyone who I've met at the Fan Club section and then there is the RP's I've had great fun meeting people in the School RP and Ministry RP and I hope to continue to talk to you.

I met Becky when she became the Department head in September 2009 for level 9 where my 'Lizbeth Merelda' was an employee in the Hall of Prophecy. Over the years her and I went from RP boss to besties to sisters!

We talk every day, sometimes early in the morning her time which is like LATE night (or early early morning) my time. Each of us feels it when one of us is a gone for a few days and even then we're texting each other back and forth.

We have called each other here and there (usually me like wishing a happy bday at 3a.m. her time xD) But she's the closest thing I have to a sister, and though we're like 4,000 miles apart we're closer then two people could be. Age don't matter (yes I figured out that when my oldest daughter was born she was like 3 ) distance don't matter, all that matters is that we're sisters.

This past week I had the fantastic opportunity to meet a few SSers!!!! I made a trip to see a friend and knew some SSers were in that area so sent them a little note. Here's Tara (Dances_with_Potter) and I, lovely Tara met me halfway between where I was and she was, just so we could meet!



I also had the wonderful opportunity to meet Mary (The1HBIC) and Judy (Kaytone) and once I ask them I'll post some fun pics we took together at a museum! It was an awesome few days and I had a blast with all 3 of them, and am already missing them and it's been only 2 days!

This last year in April 2014 I went to England to see my bestie Becky. I stayed with her for 3 weeks and in that time we also met another SSer, MagicalWorld. Dee, Becky and I were up in Edgeware where we just walked around and visited and took a fun picture.

We did some awesome things like go to Leavesden and also went to Madam Tussauds and got a pic with Daniel Craig (James Bond)

I won't show you the pic as I haven't spoken to Dee since that date but here's some fun pics of Becky and I!

So, first off, everyone I've talked to on SS is amazing and I adore them all as friends. So i'm just going to talk about people I know in RL. I brought Sara (Sararara) onto the site because we've been friends for years now through school. Because of that she made Devon (devy) join, and I also got my sister Kyra (OwlEcho63) and her friends on here. My first friend on here that I've skyped with (also the only so far... ) was Steph, aka Expecto-Penguin. But hopefully I'll be meeting up with SSers this Christmas and maybe next summer, so I'll have SO MANY FRIENDS!!!

I've had so many awesome opportunities to meet so many wonderful people on this site. I find it so fascinating to get to know people from other countries, cultures, and still have the same love for thing Harry Potter! It's been great to get to know everyone and to call many my friends.

Though the stories I'm going to tell are the ones I've actually met! The first one is Mj (Emjay) I am a random person, which many know, so when Minerva (my first charrie) got brought back from being put on a small break I posted in COMC and there was an activity that needed a partner. Noticing two people ask for partners, I picked the first one and VM'd them to see if they wouldn't mind being mine. Little did I know that first RP was going to turn into many many more RP's, married charries with babies, and a best friend for life. Mj is an awesome person that I am blessed to have met on this site and when we realized that my parents and her parents didn't live that far from each other we met in the middle one time when I was visiting and had dinner. Since then every time I'm at my parents we find a night to go to dinner and to the movie!!


Living in Ohio you would never know how many people you have on SS right around you. I have two that are pretty close to me and I started talking to Ern about hanging out at some point and then we just decided to go to the movies one weekend. So I drove to our now usual meet up place and went to the movies. She is so lovely to be my adult friend that helps me escape my land of children to watch movies with me once in awhile. The other Ohioian that I've gotten to meet and hangout with a few times is Ro. IKEA was probably my favorite story with one of our meet ups. Put three SSers at IKEA with a one year old it becomes interesting..

Getting to meet SSers is the greatest and I also go to meet a few more when we had Potterbus last August! Getting to meet Julia, Nina, Chris, Robyn, Whit, and Ro's sister was so much fun! From Ern's scavenger hunt to our group twitcam it was just all great times!! <3

Okay so I haven't met the people I have known in person but I have skyped with them? I think that still counts! I saw their faces XD!

Well I have had the honor of meeting and role playing with amazing people. But I had the pleasure of skyping with Robyn (Grr..Meow), Bre (DinosaursonaSpaceShip), Jesse (Optimist), Casey (ScarletCharm104), Dani (Unalli) Kay (PuppySara), and Jenn! These guys right here have made SS so much fun. We always have great skype chats together.

I hope to meet everyone in person one day but sometimes real life gets in the way and is a butt. But one story I have is that my brother Erik (Meizzner) saw me go on this site a lot. I kept telling him to join since he likes Harry Potter as much as I do. He kept putting it off till eventually he joined. Now look at him, I got him addicted to this site . No regrets! . But we both like the site because of you amazing people!

I hope to meet everyone in person in the near future!

Last year I had the opportunity to meet some SSers and it was so amazing; definitely made 2014 for me.

At the end of May, I met Robyn for the first time and went to the movies with her. Then in July I went camping with her, her husband, and a few of their friends. It was so much fun.

At the end of July I had the amazing opportunity to go to Ohio with Robyn and there we met Ali, Chris, Julia, Nina, Ern, RoRo, and RoRo's sister. It was an experience of a lifetime and I would love to do it again. We did a scavenger hunt and watched Guardians of the Galaxy and did an amazing twit cam even though I was too shy to really participate.

I have actually had the opportunity to meet a few SS'ers. Including the love of my Life

Most of you probably don't know her, but I got to meet Christine (Fritter) in, I think, 2008. She was here in florida, visiting i think, and we met up in Orlando and hung out for the day. I originally met her (and a few other SS'ers) on a different HP website in 2005 that has been closed for a very long time now.

I joined SS in 2007 because all my friends from my other site were begging me to come here. I met a lot of great people and have been here ever since.

In 2009, I got to meet in person Amy (Ameh), Lisa (Liisa), and Philipp (Antartica!). We met up in Atlanta and hung out for a week.

In 2010 Philipp came to visit me, and that was that. We started dating then, which was very hard for both of us, seeing as he is German and lived in Germany and I am from the US and live in Florida. But we made it work, and 4 and half years later We got married on September 13, 2014.

Before that. Philipp and I have met up with Mani (DH_Vixen) many, many times and Xana we met by pure accident one day at UCF. I was walking out of class, where Philipp was waiting for me. We walked outside and Xana was out there. She called out our names and Said "It's me XANA!" It was really neat.
