| ¼ of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pls Could this guy arrange a trip in a ger? Really? Evan couldn't help but beam. This was even better than his dreams! He had always wanted to live that life of the grandsons of Genghis, but he would never have thought that he could actually stay in a Mongolian ger. This was freakin' awesome! He high-fived the Swedish guy. Weeee! He was going to Mongolia and Jukkarjärvi. He was two steps closer to his life-time dream of seeing every country. Yay! "How much will these cost?" his father asked. Evan grinned even wider--once the money was paid, they wouldn't give it back, would they? |

He certainly seemed excited. But oh, the 17 year old looked at the father and calmed down a bit. This ofcourse needed more planning and...some dreaded talk of money. "Let me see here..." Reaching behind his jeans pockets, Viggo took out a muggle pen and a little notebook. After mumbling in swedish for a bit as the pen furiously scribbled and doodled, he looked up and smiled at the man. "Well, there will be some Flooing and a Portkey to get on your way...and taxes on that will be about 100 Galleons. For how long were you planning on staying in Mongolia? I do recommend atleast a week. For that amount of time will in total leave the price to 1890 Galleons." He smiled thinly and awaited the response with big eyes. "Would you also like to plan the trips to Jukkasjärvi right now?" He hoped they would!

Okay, there she was now. Standing all alone on the middle of this travel agency thingy without a clue what she was doing in here. Well, of course Nancy knew why she had entered the shop in the first place only what she was going to say to the shopkeeper, well, that was a completely different question. "Erm, excuse me?" The 16 year old asked vaguely to nobody in particular. Oh why had she been sent to do this again?!
Riight, cause she had complained about their previous holidays so much that her parents had finally been sick of it and had told her to go book something herself then. There, it was not her fault. So not. Now, this year they were going to have an interesting holiday. Yes! Definitely. Hopefully.

Knowing that it was very rude to eavesdrop, Evan couldn't hold himself to try to get a few words he was mumbling. Because, he had to practise, no? He didn't have any Danish friend, he could only watch videos online which was expensive. But before he could get anything, the Swedish had finished calculating. He turned immediately to his parents at the mention of duration. "Three weeks, no?" he pressed as if he was reminding them their promises. His mother looked at his father, and with all eyes on him, Father Cartwright at last nodded. "We plan to stay for three weeks, at least." He winced. The price was too high. But Evan had been successful at school too...
Evan looked at his mother now, who wanted to see Sweden more than her husband. She smiled politely as she nodded. "Yes, please." Evan loved his parents! |

Viggo was watching the family expectantly, when he heard someone enter the Agency. Automatically, the 17-year old smiled at the customer to let her know she had been spotted and he would be right there with her. The pretty lady. Quote:

Evan looked at his mother now, who wanted to see Sweden more than her husband. She smiled politely as she nodded. "Yes, please." Evan loved his parents! He had almost started to chew on the rubbery end of his muggle pen with anticipation, but then the boy's parents started giving him more to work with. His smile came back and once more Viggo started jotting down more calculations. "Great, great..." more jotting down and then he looked up. "Three weeks then, with the taxes for the portkey and the flooing..." Scribble scribble scribble. "That will leave us with 1.920 Galleons." Eeek. That was indeed alot. But... "And this is with breakfast/dinner/supper and transportation around the vicinity all included in the price." Raising his eyebrows at the family. "Sounds good?" "As for the trip to Jukkasjärvi, it will be considerable cheaper because...of everything really. Hehe." They would only be travelling a short distance. "I think only a Portkey will be necessary. There will be a special horse drawn sleigh waiting for you to take you to the Ice Hotel!" Oh that sounded awesome! "How many weeks are you planning on staying there? Three weeks aswell?" Well it wouldn't hurt... "That will leave us with a cost of 1100 Galleons." Hm hm mh... "Which in total is 2.030 Galleons for the whole trip." Maybe he could press down the number a bit more... Yes...Possible. Quote:

"I'm Viggo," A hand stretched out to shake hers. Manners, ofcourse. "How can I help you today?" Nancy bit her lower lip as she let her blue eyes roam the travel agency in search for some inspiration as to where to go. Spain? Nah. USA? Nah. It was right then that she felt somebody's eyes on her and upon half-turning her head she spotted a boy looking her way. Or man? Well, he looked to be about her age after all...and he was assisting?! Was he like the shopkeep?! Nancy blinked a few times as she automatically returned the boy's smile before he turned back to the other family currently in need of assistance.
Thailand? Nah. Japan? Nah. Egypt? N- Right at that moment the shopkeeper(?) came back, now ready to help her. "Oh, nice to meet you Viggo." Strange name. "I'm Nancy." Yes, manners were always important. That was also the reason she of course took the boy/man/whatever's hand and shook it politely with a smile directed at him. "Erm...you know...I...my parents told me to come here to get some information on places we could go to." Well, sorta. "So, any ideas?" Nancy grinned at him hopefully as she gave a small helpless laugh.

Brittany came out from the back of the store and smiled, seeing that Viggo had everything under control. "I'll be back in just a few minutes," she called out to Viggo. "Welcome to the store, all of you," she added to the group. So exciting to have so many people who were interested in taking a trip! She stopped for a moment before asking, "Is there anything you need from me right now, anything I can help with?"

Yes...Possible. 1920 GALLEONS?! Evan's father's mouth dropped open. No, it didn't sound good at all. They were wealthy, but definately not that much. But ah, there was of course more. Trip to Sweden. Wow, horse drawn sleigh. Perfect. 1100 Galleons? No thanks. Three weeks in the middle of snow was too much, where you barely saw sun. England wasn't sunny as well, but he could see it at least. He turned to his wife. They whispered to each other for a few minutes which was like torture to Evan. At the end, they came back. "We've decided to stay in Mongolia for 2 weeks, and in Sweden for one." Even that would be too much money, but they had promised to Evan, who looked some sort of sad. But he stayed silent, knowing that 2030 Galleons were really high. 2 weeks in Mongolia, and a week in Sweden would be enough. |

"Okay Miss Birittany!" he said with a smile and a nod. Did he need help? He thought for a moment then pursed his lips. Then, "Everything is a-okay! " he signalled with his hand. "Do you need help? Um, yes, it was a tad high wasn't it? Maybe he counted it wrong? Oh, that would be embarrassing, but good for the family! "Mongolia for two weeks, that is quite nice aswell. Let me...um..." what's the english word!? "...Calculate, yes, let me just calculate this again." A leetle bit of galleons here, sum it up with this, and then take a bit off. Looking at it for a moment, he took on a thoughtful expression. "Actually...This, according to the travel chart, is for five people..." Why the heck did he have that!? He tossed the chart to the side. " I am ever so sorry...It's actually not 1.920 - but 520 Galleons." A slow smile crept to his face. That was indeed ALOT less. "So then..." Scribble scribble doodle. "The trip to Jukkasjärvi now costs 250 Galleons." He kept sneaking glances at the family, specially the boy since he seemed so sad about the high price. "Two weeks in Mongolia and one week in Sweden. The whole trip will cost..." Scribble. "...670 Galleons!"
The 17year old raised his eyebrows, looking expectantly. Quote:

Somewhere in Scandinavia maybe? Directing his eyes to the girl, he smiled politely at her, thinking that she was probably one of those Hogwarts students. She did seem quite young, around his own age perhaps. Waking up from his thoughts, he nodded in understanding. "Well, Miss Nancy, we have lots of brochures for reading, and Miss Britanny has lots of crab-books to look at for ideas." He totally meant 'scrap-books' but his English vocabulary was failing him again. Still, he didn't notice this and kept looking at the young girl. "Would you like to see some? We do specialise in custom made travels to accomodate your needs and expectations. You can travel to anywhere in the world. So really, the sky is the limit." He winked. That was a good one. Geddit? The sky is the limit, because they could fly on brooms? "Though, I do recommend Scandinavia...it's such a pretty country. Like the UK ofcourse." Oh, he loved this place.

Which meant...further examination...and finally her eyes fell on the name tag pinned to the guy's robes which clearly read his name. And only Diagon Alley shopkeepers and their assistants had those name tags, right? Right? Yes.
This time giving the boy/guy/man/person a completely genuine grin the 16 year old gave a small wave with the hand still holding onto the brochure. "Yes, I found some of those already. The boy seemed happy now, as did his parents. Papers! "Allrighty," Viggo inclined his head. He took the boy's father's words as a 'yes'. With a flick of his wand, he produced a piece of parchment and a quill that floated in mid-air, waiting for the father to take it. "We just need you to write down the names of those who are going on the trip, the dates you can travel and then we will send you the tickets." And the payment... "If you want to pay now...or you can deposit the money into our Gringotts bank account." With a flick of his fingers, a little card appeared between his middle- and index-finger, that he gave to the father. "We will owl you with the information once the tickets are ready and booked." His hands were clasped behind his back, balancing on the balls of his feet. "Would you like some brochures of Mongolia and Jukkasjärvi? You can read about the sleigh-ride and ofcourse the actual Ice hotel." He grabbed a cuple of those. "And here you have a little about the Mongolian culture, and also what you can expect to see."
He took a moment to look around the shelves. Aha! "Here, take these aswell." Grabbing two thin books, he passed them to the boy with a wink. It was a couple of useful language books with cool phrases and stuff in Swedish and Mongolian. Quote:

He looked at her with one eyebrow raised as she tried to pronounce something. The corner of his lips tugged as she looked at the name again. "Oh yes, Birkirkara. That's a wonderful city in Malta." He motioned for her to follow and stopped to point at a map. "Right there, see? Located in the Mediterranean Sea." He turned to her again. "That is a nice place for a visit, it's warm and since the country is an island, they are surrounded by water and you can go on boat rides." She smiled big. This was one of those awesome places to visit. "Here are..." he hopped over to the shelves and took out a Crab-Book for her to see. "Here you can see one of the many ancient churches...and also the festivities and food." Hmz, it was making him hungry! "Those are the little...big, boats you can go on. And they are also big soccer fans-" He frowned at the next picture. "No wait, thats a dog." Time to get that in order. "Eh, yeah, anyway, we have alot more here. Miss Brittany has a Vampire friend that you can visit in Transylvania. Or why not," he held up another book to show her, "A trip to see sweet Nessie in Scotland?" Perchance? |

Evan's father nodded. He took out a Liverpool FC Pen. Evan rolled his eyes. His father would never give up to make his son a Liverpool fan, now he was attacking his sub-conscious. He itched to grab it and place a Chelsea one instead, but sadly he didn't have one. He wondered if the Swedish guy watched football. If he did, what team did he support? Though he was too shy to ask. Besides, what was the point if he didn't go to Hogwarts? They wouldn't play or talk about it. Quote:

First week of Christmas Holiday Father Cartwright took the card and said "The money should be deposited in this week." with a smile. Evan's grin even widened. He was really going to see Genghis Khan and Ice Hotel. He took the brochures happily with a huge smile, immediately looking at the pictures. Wow! He then turned at the boy again, and took the books. He wouldn't need any Swedish, he guessed, but Mongolian would be perfect. He always wondered how close it would be to Turkish. "Thanks!" he exclaimed. "Are there anything else?" his mom asked, hand resting on the door knob. Yes, just in case. |

OHHAI! Varius walked through the door of the travel agency with an angry frown and puffed cheeks. Oh, was someone in a mood? It seemed so. He had just arrived home from his summer long trip to some snowy place to visit the Botts, his father's side of the family, and had booked through Diagon Alley's very own travel agency. Now, the snow was... well, snowy and the mansion in which he stayed with his family was phenomenal, but one thing the agent with whom he dealt with did NOT mention, was how bratty and annoying his little cousin, Neptune Bott, was going to be - and so, he was here to demand some form of compensation! This was not what the Tipps had ordered! He wanted a relaxing holiday! Not a vacation with inevitable hairloss due to Tuney's infuriating ways, and so, he waited for a free agent who had a free moment to deal with his complaint. HMPH!

Brittany returned from the back and saw that another customer had entered, a young man who was looking about. He seemed a bit confused as he looked about, so Brittany called out to him, "Hi, may I help you?", as she walked in his direction. She then realized that it wasn't confusion on his face after all, he was obviously frustrated about something. It was best if she let Viggo deal with the other customers for the moment and she handled this one personally.

And it had a little ball ontop! Hehe. "I see you are interested in soccer, sir. There are some exellent teams in Sweden. Mind you, it might be a bit difficult to play on ice." he winked at the kid. Viggo played some, when they travelled further south during on of the tribe's festivities, and if his friends were too bored they would ignore the ice and have a laugh playing as they slided along the frozen water. They even played with their ice-skates once, much to the dismay of their parents. "Ah, most exellent. Thankyou very much, sir." said Viggo, taking the parchment in his hands for momentarily safe keeping. Looking at the kid again, the big smile on his face got Viggo to respond the same way. "Oh you are most welcome. Hope you find them interesting!" He reached out a hand to shake every family member's own, just because it was respectful and...well, manners, right? But then the mother asked him something and he took a moment to think. He shook his head slowly. "No, I think that is all. But if we do happen to get information or recieve anything you should know about, we will most definitely owl you. Oh, and ofcourse, you will be getting a little info pack along with the tickets. Like what clothes to pack and such things." he smiled at them, hoping they wouldn't worry about that. "Hope you have a wonderful journey, and if you have any questions whatsoever, little or big, please send us an Owl and I or my boss will be most glad to help you." Nod, nod. That was, afterall, what they were here for. Quote:

Which - should he start laughing at her - would prove to be an ideal object to hit Viggo over the head with. Just saying. Nancy followed the older boy over to an enormous map displaying...uhm...Europe? Uh-oh! Right then it was essential to use her geographical skills...which were extremely close to zero.
Trying hard to follow the direction he was pointing at Nancy found herself staring at the southern part of Europe, at countries called Spain, Italy and such. Now, where was this Mediterranean Sea? The 16 year old blinked a few times at the map before in an attempt to locate this Malta or at least the Mediterranean Sea. In the meanwhile Viggo had walked, no skipped off to get one of those crab-books he had been talking about. Which upon closer examination on Nancy's side turned out to be a scrap-book. Resisting the urge to giggle she settled with smirking slightly while half-listening to his excited informing her about this Birkirkara-place. Interesting...
Her eyes flickering back and forth between the pictures he was showing her and the map she was still standing in front of Nancy gave an occasional nod to show that she was in fact paying attention. Partly anyways. After he'd finally stopped she gave him a big smile before with a small laugh she said, "So, uhm, this sounds really interesting but...where was this Malta place again?" Nancy gestured a little helplessly towards the map before her, giving Viggo a small hopeful grin. Why did she have to suck so badly at this? At this geography thingy?
Wait, had he said vampire?! Eek! |

Wait, had he said vampire?! Eek! Oh hello there. What was that he saw on her face. Did that look like a smile? A smile for a job well done! Or so he hoped. And then she smiled and Viggo couldn't help but do the same. Where what was, now? Oh!" "Malta...is right..." he looked back at the map and pointed as he found the country. "...there. You can see it rather close to the other countries, maybe you'd like to visit them aswell in one go?" he looked at her, eyes widened in expextation. "Ofcourse, if there's any place you would like to visit, we can custom make a trip for you. Would you like to go sightseeing, or maybe just relax? How about some shopping? I hear Paris has a couple of nice shops to see." he grinned. Because that's what girls liked to do, right? He didn't really know, but he could offer something else aswell. "Why not catch the lastest Quidditch games, or perhaps you enjoy muggle sports best. But you seem like an adventurous type, if you don't mind me saying," he added quickly, really hoping he hand't offended her or something. "Why not take a chance to see the New Zealand landscape...there's some awesome bungyjumping there." Cocking an eyebrow, he hoped she would take up on the bungyjumping offer. Seriously, it was like one of the most thrilling thing to do!

That was, afterall, what they were here for. Excellent teams in Sweden? Hmm... that was something to go and see as well. Evan knew a few Swedish teams and Galatasaray player Linderoth, though nothing more. They weren't quite popular with their football. Hold there--playing on ice? He grinned. That would definately be something he'd do. Tackles would be there, while running would be awfully hard. He could already imagine him having a few bruises but a huge grin on his face. He and his father looked at each other as the same 'fun!' grin appeared on their faces while they looked like they were talking via telepathy. If they found a few people to play with them, it would be beyond wonderful.
The family shook the guy's hand. The parents nodded, and all said a thank you and wished a nice day while they got out. Evan bounced all the way as they excitedly talked until they were no longer seen. |

Viggo watched their customers with a smile on his face. This had indeed been a wonderful experience. But such things must also come to an end, as September the 1st would be coming around the corner along with the Hogwarts Express.
Ah, Soccer on Ice seemed to be something the young boy got interested in. Yes, it was indeed alot of fun, though the bruises from slipping all the time might not be. Hehe. And what was up with that look the boy and the father gave eachother? Hmmm? Viggo couldn't help but grin aswell. "Thankyou aswell! Please let us know how the trip went, we'd love to hear from you. Maybe a postcard?" Viggo laughed. "Take care now, and make sure you are fully padded for the Ice Soccer!" Hehehe. He waved until he couldn't see them out from the shop window. "You should take those brochures home with you, and read them. I'm sure there must be something that will catch your eye." said the Swede to Nancy, who, like most of the other customers, was having a little difficulty knowing where to travel. But that was the fun thing about this shop, helping the customers find wherever they wanted to go. "We will still be here when you make up your mind, or have any more questions." Yes ofcourse. Exept, maybe not him...but Miss Brittany would most definitely be. He had to get back home...and school.
After wishing the girl good luck at Hogwarts, Viggo walked over to the grumpy boy and his Boss. Hopefully there wasn't going to be any problem here. They were having such a nice day.
But, considering that his boss was indeed a boss, she would make him see sense and the guy would probably walk out soon. Maybe even book another trip. Hehehe.
But, this had been nice. And he was happy for the chance. It would be weird seeing the streets of Diagon Alley void of students, now that he had becomed accostumed to it. But they were off to the school adventures, and he was headed towards his own. OOC: the Hogwarts Express has arrived, this means Diagon Alley is closed for students. But please come again after the term has ended |

Still clad in her ministry employee robes which she dested the color of by the way the dark haired swede strode down the now fairly empty street. The students had taken the train to Hogwarts to start a new term. Not unlike when Ingrid went to Durmstrang.
Shrugging she walked around aimlessly thinking about Jayden, work and her boyfriend who hadn't owled her since before the QWC. Relationships were though and her new job was even thougher. Motivating people to do their jobs and do them well was not as easy as it seemed.
Ingrid stopped in front of the sign to Terrotours Travel Agency feeling mixed. Should she go in and see if they had any trips to Sweden available? Uncertainly the dark haired 24 year old still pushed open the shop door and walked in...This was unfamiliar territory. She had never in her life booked anything.

Brittany almost smiled as she listened to the young man ranting about his dissatisfaction with his cousin, it was all she could do to keep the grin off her face. "Wait, let me get this straight. You want to be compensated for your dissatisfaction with your cousin on your trip, and you want the tour company to do that?" Now she had heard everything. The only thing the tour company could compensate a person for was if the tour had failed to deliver on their promise of places that would be seen and things that would be done, but certainly not because someone was dissatisfied with their traveling companions. "I think that perhaps you might consider asking the person who decided on asking your cousin for compensation, rather than the tour company. It sounds like you might be barking up the wrong tree, sir, if you don't mind my saying so."

Ronan Cavanaugh apparated with a resounding 'pop' noise in the part of Diagon Alley where Pandora had told him Terrortours Travel Agency was located. He paused, waiting for Pandora to arrive so they could walk into the agency together to book their trip to Venice.
The pair had shown signs that they needed a break from work, each for their own personal reasons and had decided to take their first trip together as a couple. Hopefully going to Venice, their relationship would continue to go swimmingly.
