Hi Friends!
Happy December! My name is Ashley and I'm a preschool teacher from a little old town right outside of Boston, Ma. I've been a member of Snitchseeker for almost nine years now and I love our creative community here on SS. It doesn't hurt that we're all about Harry Potter, a series I fell in love with as a teenager and continue to enjoy as an adult.
I've held many positions on site, from department head to Headmistress, and I'm currently a St Mungo's Mod and member of our lovely yearbook team!

1. This morning as I was prepping for work I was listening to Dog Days Are Over by Florence and the Machine. It gets me up and going and I needed that this morning lol!
2. I teach preschool-aged kids, so it's basically a comedy fest all day. I will say they've started doing this thing where if they can tell I'm stressed or just not particularly impressed with their behavior, they'll say "Miss Ashley, I love you!" Smart kids are smart because it works every time.
3. A SKUNK? Hm. I'm going to be unoriginal here and say Stinky. (Skunks really are very cute but no thank you). Quote:

I'm a big believer in putting a lot of focus on the social-emotional side of preschool learning! Figuring out how to deal with your emotions, other people's emotions, and just how to interact with your classmates (and people in general) is so so important! Quote:

1. The 80s! And ooookay, I was born at the end of the 80s, but I love everything about that decade.

3. I'm grateful that my sister and I are carpooling together each day so I don't have to risk public transportation right now. I'm grateful that my coffee order has been right every day this week. I'm really grateful it's Friday and everyone around me made it through another week, healthy and safe.

I remember that! I really enjoyed it and I remember being really nervous for some reason! Idek why, but it was fun!
I LOVE Ella, I do. She'll always be my baby. I have to say that Maddison Cooper has been my favorite, though! She's changed the MOST of all my charries! She was my FIRST Ravenclaw, which was a TRIP. She's also nothing like me, so she was a challenge. I think I've also enjoyed the friendships she's made the most. Her family life was tough, so her friends became her family and that makes me really emo and yeah. Quote:

1. I'm a fan of the lake. In RL I spend a lot of time by the water and I think there's just something nice about relaxing by the lake and hanging with friends or reading or napping.

1) Tiny Dancer is one of my favorite songs and definitely meets the requirement!
2) My favorite show is such a hard one to narrow down! I'd have to say it was One Tree Hill, probably! I was a big fan of that show. I'm honestly not sure what my favorite song right now is.
