UM probably the Basilisk to be perfectly honest. Then again I love snakes in general so that probably explains it. ;]

Sorrento, Italy and Barcelona, Spain. I've been dying to go to Sorrento ever since my best friend told me about how gorgeous it was. As for Barcelona, I've wanted to go there since I was probably 13 years old. I honestly want to go EVERYWHERE so it's really hard just picking one place I really want to visit.

I'm going to assume you're asking what the meaning of my username is so here I go explaining it. If that's not what you meant then you learned something you may have already known. My username's the first two letters of my name, which is Sierra. :D

Since I (SURPRISE!) know a pretty good bit about tv shows I'm gonna give you my top 5 favorite shows currently on air and my top five favorite tv shows no longer in production.

On Air:
1. Doctor Who
2. Burn Notice
3. Misfits
4. Castle
5. Leverage

Off Air:
1. Lost
2. Battlestar Galactica
3. Arrested Development
4. The Sopranos
5. Carnivale

UM as for idols I don't really have an idol actually. I've never really looked up to anyone, even when I was a kid. I guess if I had to pick ANYONE I'd probably pick Audrey Hepburn because of her humanitarian efforts and the fact that she was one VERY classy lady.

also haha my brain is one of a kind I suppose =p

I would actually love to shadow JJ Abrams because I've heard working on his films is fun for EVERYONE involved. That man is so creative and smart I just want to leech off his energy.

:woot: You like Burn Notice?!?!?!?!? I LOVE THAT SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

*takes a deep breath* JJ Abrams totally rocks!

How do you feel about the Twilight Saga winning the movie of the year at the MTV Movie Awards *crosses fingers you feel that same way that I do*

YES MORE BURN NOTICE FANS *high fives* I love that show so much. Michael Westin is who my best friend wants to BE like and I love it.

JJ ♥

UM well the MTV Movie Awards have never been serious business in the world of cinema but it's the only place Twilight can win because the core audience eats that travesty of a series up and that disappoints me. I'm so tired of hearing about the Twilight series because every time someone tells me they think it's the best film series/book series ever I rage and then want to sit them down with an obviously superior film/book like the HP books or some John Hughes film like Ferris Bueller's Day Off (one of my personal favorites).

That being said Twilight didn't deserve that award. It was up against Alice In Wonderland (which I kind of liked, kind of didn't I'm not fully sold on 3D right now), Avatar (advancements in visual technology anyone!?), HBP (decent movie, could've been a LOT better though in terms of story), and The Hangover (this movie should've won in that category imo it's hilarious and fun) so as you can see there's no way it deserved that award considering the competition it was up against.

UM I would probably be a Poison Dart Frog or a Box Jellyfish because they're two of the most poisonous creatures in the world but you wouldn't know it by looking at them :]

I'm actually not a huge fan of Sweeney Todd to be honest. I watched the film and found it boring. :/

HAHA well basically my friends have kept me here. I mean I love this site to bits and pieces and it's an honor to be on the mod team. I've left Snitchseeker twice, though so sometimes I need a break ;]

UM I'd have to say Bellatrix LeStrange. I love how insane she is and how devoted she seems to be to Voldemort.

I love Quidditch! I'd want to be a Beater. It would be the greatest stress reliever ever.

*clings to Si's leg* LOVE YOU!!! We totally need to go to a movie together!

I wanted to cry when Twilight beat out The Hangover, that was just.....it was a bonehead move even for MTV, but they have to drink at the suck pump of sensationalism so I wasn't at all surprised. I still hated that they won.

I mean I'm glad for Pattison, but the more I watch the more I'm convinced I was right that he's not a good actor. He just does the same charrie over and over again just in a different movie. He's very one note which works great in Twilight bcuz all the characters are one note.

do you post reviews on Rotten Tomato?

ahaha we'll have to arrange that sometime :P

Sensationalism can only take a movie so far in my eyes. It's a shame that sensationalism is necessary for a film to be successful. I mean some of the best films are ones with smaller followings.

I actually thought Pattinson was pretty decent in Remember Me. Try him out in that. I'm anxious for the film he's working on with Christoph Waltz (I THINK it's called Water For Elephants but don't take my word on it) because I think working with him will make Rob a better actor.

I actually don't post reviews there! I've considered doing it but every time I go to do it, I draw back for some reason. I may do it someday. I actually wanted to be a film critic for the longest time but I don't think I could make my living tearing down something I love so much.

Well look at Blair Witch Project and how sensationalism took a bad 60,000 movie and turned it into like 170 million movie. Or they started out with a small audience. Look at Scarface. That movie didn't have the following it has now.

I just can't bring myself to watch a chick flick that deep in the chickiness realm  Yeah its called Water For Elephants, I dunno I may give him the benefit of the doubt for another movie :)

Oh I love posting on Rotten, I haven't had anything posted on the TV though, which I'm hoping someday they will do you get 100 bucks when they use your review on the tv show

so do you blog about movies? and why do you think you would be tearing apart something you love?

You bring up a VERY good point about those films. Sensationalism can be good or bad, I just see it more bad for CURRENT films.

 I'm not huge into chick flicks but I love Emilie De Ravin (DP character model ahoy!) so I had to see her in it. It was really cute but yes give him the benefit of the doubt for this one and even if he sucks in it, you still have Christoph ;]

I did not know they gave you money if your review got used! You just gave me an incentive :P

I blog about them from time to time on my LJ but nothing too serious :]

To answer your second question, it's because some of my absolute favorite movies get torn apart by critics because they're not super serious films. Film to me is meant to be fun and to critique a fun movie that I enjoy would just kill me inside. Not every movie is meant to be a Scarface or a Saving Private Ryan. I think critiquing movies for a living would suck the fun out of watching a movie for me because if I was in that mindset every time I watched a movie, I'd be miserable. Watching movies is meant to be an escape from your real life just like a book is.
