Hello there and welcome to SS!! My name is Jess and I'll be the other half of the mod duo you get to annoy meet this month. Like Ali, I'll try not to blab too much here in this introductory post so you can actually have stuff to ask me  .
I've been a member of SS for 4½ years technically speaking, being notified of this place by my lovely friend Kerry (as some of you might remember her as shortfry) of whom we actually met via a different HP Site (dissendium). *eyes the cake in Ali's thread* It's not really there. It's an April Fool's joke, i think 
Currently I'm the Arithmancy Professor, Hufflepuff House Mod, and Gobstones Adviser in the School RP. Also, I mod the Menagerie (General HP) and Fan Clubs areas of the site, as well as a shopkeeper assistant in the DA RP. I've previously held positions in the language forum (Hebrew Mod), Hufflepuff Prefect and Quidditch Captain the school (not at the same time!), Department Head of Magical Transportation (and later Mysteries), Primpernelle's Shopkeeper, and writer to the Daily Prophet, the School Quill, and the Site Magazine, Seeker of the Snitch. Basically, I've been all over the place
In real life I work as a Photo Specialist at Walgreen's and LOVE it. I'm aspiring to move up to management someday, because I REALLY love the retail environment!

When did you become a hp fan? Answered this already and it's a pretty long story, but it basically has to do with a nickname I got Freshmen year college, "Phoenix" because of my red hair ... a year or two after that, I created a myspace to use mostly for some of the friends I'd met on Dissendium.com and used that nickname in the url creation (rise_of_the_phoenix) because i was in college and it seemed appropriate since i was rising up in the world and all... Yea ... its weird. But that's what happens when there's three years to every one RL year. *sighs*

Nice to me you! Hello! If I could take one thing from the HP world then it would be the ability to do magic; because if you could do magic then you wouldn't need to take anything else with you, right?
Favorite spell ... Orchideous is one... But also the simple one that Tonks used, "Pack" or "Wingardium Leviosa". My room is always quite messy, so it would be nice to be able to put stuff away, or hang it up with just a single word or two Quote:

Photo Specialists do pretty much anything around the store; from setting up displays, working the register, to of course, working in the photo department and printing photos.

... Yes, you make them entirely! From what they look like ... to how they act... everything about your hogwarts character and ministry character are made up by YOU! =) and eventually they become such a part of you that they starting doing things on their own, like they're own person, despite the fact that you made them.
