My real name is Cassandra, but people on here call me Droo. I am 35 years old and I live in the DC area.
In the school, I play Hecate Lafay, the Potions Mistress and Slytherin Head of House. I also play, Gina Latorta, the sweet, gran-like Department Head for the International Magical Cooperation department in the Ministry and Atropos Trelawney, a dark wizard in Diagon Alley. OOC, I am the Italian Forum mod, the FanFiction Moderator for the Epic and Adventure section and the Script Crypt Poetry section, as well as coordinating the Detention section of the school. In the past I have served as Slytherin Prefect, Nurse's Intern, Runes Professor, The Madame Malkins and Olivander's shopkeeper and the Department Head for Special Ops which is no longer in use. (Some of these links may not work until you become a full member.)
In real life, I am technically unemployed at the moment. (So if you have a job, send it my way. LOL!) I have been a theater actor, director, choregrapher, house manager and costume designer, a fundraiser, a funeral director's assistant, a wedding coordinator and a marketing director. I have been married now for the past 12 years, I have a black cat named "The Kittem," and an annoying brother who teases me constantly about my Harry Potter fascination.
Ok... I think I've said enough. If I say anymore you won't have anything to ask me!

You know when I first read the books, I thought I'd be a Ravenclaw. So I went online and took a personality quiz and ended in Slytherin... that made me angry so I took another... and another... and another... After 10 or so tests (all of which I placed in Slytherin,) my husband came home and asked me why I was so angry. I told him and said "I'm not mean, and I'm not evil!" He laughed at me and said "Really? You spent all afternoon determined to not be in Slytherin, and you think you are not?" So I thought about Slytherin, and what it meant to be one, and embraced it. Now I don't think I could be anything else.

Hmmm... Not really. I don't think you see Snape doing HoH things... other than cheering for the team during quidditch. Plus I became HoH with Alessia Lupa (My Runes Professor) who was sweet like the pastries she'd serve in her office. And she treated the kids as a mommy would. Hecate does too... just a more strict mommy...

If you are asking ooc, I don't really think I'm easy or hard. I treat everyone the same who PMs me and chats with me. If you are asking IC, Hecate is probably harder on the snakes because she wants them to succeed and expects perfection from them.

I'll answer this question, cause I know you wanna hear the answer Besides Mia who was more a rival than a teaser... Leo, Nik, Joanna, Evan, Lee... Kayla was a puff too... Trel hated the puffs cause most of her tormentors came from that house. Y'all know that I love you though!

She's scary if you don't know how to talk to her and let her down. I like her when she's scary cause she is nothing like me. I'm nothing scary, or mean which is why I enjoy playing a character who is... it's fun.

Then you can always let them take you over. Make no mistake, I make mistakes all the time, but I try to play them off in character as much as I can. My first character, Trel, was a vegetarian and I had her eat chicken once... I played it off as she hadn't been well, and she didn't notice until it got to her mouth.

You will get lots of chances. Once the sorting opens, and you are sorted into a house, you will have access to Diagon Alley. Go to one of the "restaurant" areas like Florean's or The Leaky Cauldron and read a little bit. See who is there. There are always students sitting at a table chatting... Ask if you can sit with them, or "bump" into one of them... You will strike up a conversation and maybe become friends while in school. You can always post in shops, getting your new wand, getting new robes, but to chat with other characters the restaurants and streets are best. If you miss Diagon Alley, don't fret, there is always the train. Post yourself in one of the compartments and chat with people there. And if you miss that, there is always the opening feast, or your common room. Hope that helped!

Was being a wedding coordinator fun?
Ahhh... it's a hard question to answer. When that ONE time out of 10 I got the bride who was laid back and the parents weren't involved... things went smoothly and the weddings were a blast. But 9 out of 10 times, the bride is stressed beyond belief. Her mother is pressuring for one thing, the in laws for another, her father wants to save money, she can't agree with the groom, or worse the groom has no opinions... It's a tough time for a woman. And on top of that, the mother or mother in law will try to give you orders on the wedding as if it was hers. They have VERY specific demands, like they want an ice sculpture in the likeness of their dog (yes, I got that one.) There is soooo much arguing in front of you that it gets really uncomfortable. Oh and the stress on you is horrible. If the florist brings pink roses, instead of purple... her whole wedding is ruined (It will feel that way to her) and guess who's fault it will be in her eyes? The Wedding Coordinator's. That being said, I fairly enjoyed it, I even had a repeat client

I have this class and I'm supposed to act a play in front of my class and I'm not the shy type, but when it comes to acting I just freeze up. Any tips that might help?
HI LEE! I think it depends on how you approach acting. I hate to do speaking or public presentations, because it's me up there. While in a play... the words were written for me, the character is someone else. So it's not me up there, and therefor I'm not afraid. I always treat the stage as sacred, I only walk on it if I'm "working" or "in character". It's something small but it helps.

Hey there Cassandra! Nice to know all those things about you
So, I'm going to ask a couple of questions :
1. What's the very first thing you do once you open your eyes every morning?
2. How much percent is SS part of your life?
3. Your fav food?
That's it for now. Nice to meet you, Cass. See you around in the potions class
Wow that's a lot to take in. But it does spark a couple of questions:
1. What do you like most about the Harry Potter franchise?
2. Is Slytherin your ideal house?
3. If you could choose any other house other than Slytherin, which would it be?
4. Do you have a favourite character in HP?
That's all I can think of right now lovey
