Hihi, friends! Happy January and happy 2021 ! ! !

Who has two thumbs, no concept of time, and a lot of unpopular opinions?! It's a me, Ariana! Though I also go by Ari and I'm trying to get AriFerrari (FerrAriana??) to happen, so feel free to take your pick! I'm open to any and all other nickname suggestions, so if you've got ideas... Let's talk. Ahem. When I'm not making an utter fool of myself, you can probably find me studying for my final semester of graduate school!

My Harry Potter journey began in middle school and once I finished the series and binged all the movies, I was lucky enough to find SnitchSeeker to fill the void! I've worn many hats around these parts (figurative hats because I look silly in most other kinds), but I'm currently a moderator for the Potterdom, Quibbler, and Newbie forums and I play the Muggle Studies Professor / Ravenclaw Head of House in our Hogwarts RPG!

1. I do usually try to set a number of goals for myself each new year, but I haven't yet come up with mine for 2021. I definitely do want to make a better habit of exercising regularly though!
2. I JUST started eating meat again, so this question was very well-timed, otherwise my answer would have been neither! I think I'll go with chicken puffs though, I'm not a huge seafood fan.
3. A Man Called Ove by Fredrick Backman, and lucky me!!! It's the January-February Book of the Moment, so I'm looking forward to reading it again!

Hmm it depends on the mood. I LOVE Honey Bunches of Oats (with strawberries) as a classic go to, but if I'm feeling the ~occasion~ I'd rather reach for something more chocolatey. I used to eat Honey Nut Cheerios every morning for 14 years, so if I even so much have to look at Cheerios box i might cry!!

1. Gruff indoor is the newest hogwarts house. Only the gruffiest inside lovers can be sorted there. HA
2. I'll have you know that this was your worst question. I guess I'll go with Jackson Wesley Hadrian Bole. As you know, he was given to me by Tegan (Tegz) and Nicolle (Colley) and he was the first ravenclaw I've had go from 1st to 7th year. Although he is a literal dumpster fire, he really just wants to do good. Whether it's being the best brother he can be or being a good friend. He wants to be there for people and lift them up. I'm not sure how he manages to stay so optimistic all the time and even though it drives me up the wall, I guess I appreciate that about him or whATEVER.

1. I think my favorite character to play was Zoryn Spinnet. She did my head in constantly, but having a mega-gryffindor made jumping into RPs so easy! She also made it really easy for me to RP with literally anyone and everyone, whereas some of my quieter characters are more reluctant to do so. I miss some of the laughs from that era, but definitely do not miss the constant headaches
2. I took some time to think about this, but I think I'm going to lock my answer in with Neville Longbottom. I think Neville and I are both pretty goofy and clumsy and can handle a good roast, ectera ectera, etcetera. But that there's more than meets the eye that extends beyond this goofy, clumsy exterior? Neville has such a kind heart and at the end of the day, I want to strive for the standard that he sets in the regard.
3. Night owl 10000% I've been trying to become a morning person with literally no avail. I'm not meant for the AM lifestyle.
4. OH THIS IS A FUNNY STORY! I owe Finneas Schmoe to the help of three people. Nicole (nicole black), Ruby (Awarlesta Black), and Tegan (Tegz). I'm a chronic procrastinator and I left the creation of Finneas Schmoe up until the very last possible second. I was also boarding a plane when the realization hit me that I had exactly one (1) day until the school opened up and I needed a character ASAP. So I messaged Nicole and Ruby and the three of us together bounced ideas back and forth until I was stuck on a plane for the next 14 hours and had to brain storm on my own. And thus, Finneas Schmoe came to be! Tegan had also told me about her dream that featured the play on words "Muggle Anthropologist" which helped establish some background for the lanky, brain noodle. The rest was history (read: his - story because Finneas started as a meme and then grew into something of his own whacky creation).

1. Though it would probably make most sense for me to teach Muggle Studies, I think I'd get a kick out of teaching Flying!
2. The ultimate dream would be to be a writer for a late night show like Late Night with Seth Meyers or The Late Show with Stephen Colbert! Or any TV show for that matter.
3. I have not! But I have had cream soda, which I hear is similar and if it is I'd say it's quite nice, if not a little too sweet.

Hi, nerd. You ask some tough questions hope you know.

1) A lot of things make me happy. Looking at the moon, seeing others thrive, friendships with people like you uwu. I'd be out here listing all day.
2) Listening. Listening to people share their stories is one of the coolest things we get to do as living, breathing humans. In my opinion.
3) No. Though I go through a House identity crisis at least twice a month, I think I've firmly landed on Gryffindor for myself. But Ravenclaw might be the number 2
4) That he graduated and I don't have to post him around site anymore. HEHEH. I joke. He's okay, I guess.
5) Not necessarily, but I did write this on the first page of my journal & its what I go back to when I need to center myself: "Life is sometimes rough and not so fun, but my general goal is to be as kind and thoughtful a person as possible, to bring joy to other's hearts, and to love as best I can."
6) They are an essential food group ok!!!
7) I'll get back to you on this one
8) In my final semester of undergrad I took Neurobiology and it was WONDERFUL. My professor was so engaging and really made an effort to aid us in understanding the course (as it is a very daunting one). And I really enjoyed being able to mingle SCIENCE with things that we see/hear/feel. It was a good balance of the microscopic & the more tangible.
9) She's doing okay today, chugging along as best she can.
10) I started a bullet journal a few months back and I've really been enjoying taking the time to set it up each month. It's a good way to unwind.

1. SALAD because you can do so much with salad!? So versatile.
2. I love in Deathly Hallows Part 1 when Harry, Hermione, and ron use polyjuice to go to the Ministry. And the particular scene where polyjuiced Harry goes to Umbridge's office and sets off a bunch of dungbombs. It's SO funny the way he walks. That scene cracks me up everytime and it's maybe 5 seconds long in total
