HI!

Welcome to SS, welcome to August (my favourite month of the year!), HI! My name is Ali, and I'll be one of the lucky folk who gets to be interrogated this month.

I'm currently the Forums Manager, so work behind the scenes mostly, aiming to make the SS forums as good as they can be for our awesome members (like YOU!). I moderate a few other forums and have held various positions in the past from news-ing to prefect-ing.

That's enough from me to start with, now it's YOUR TURN to ask me anything you want (just keep in mind the rules and we'll be okay )...

A very good question, too!

I think that the Harry Potter series shows that, no matter what your background, the whole world can come together over a set of characters, be it through paper or film. And similarly, within the books, the ways that it's shown for purebloods, half-bloods and muggleborns to be together is a great lesson for children - differences don't matter. (unless it's different houses but that's all light hearted)

As for your second question... you have absolutely no idea how much it has changed my life. XD The stories have been with me for more than half of my life, and this site in particular has kept the magic alive. (that may sound really soppy, but it's true! hehe)

My favourite characters include Bellatrix, Lupin, Tonks, Sirius and Moody, though, if I could save only one I would possibly go for Tonks. Moody, Sirius, and even Lupin's deaths were significant (even if Lupin's was SO discrete), whereas Tonks hit me. She's TONKS. Man....

And Hermione would totally be with Draco. There, I said it. Or Krum.

That is a tough one - I'd hope I'd be the same, but maybe with a broom or flying carpet as it'd make things more fun... or an apparation license. As for favourite subjects, Potions and Charms would be fun, Transfiguration is also quite fascinating, too... and sadly enough, I'd most likely go on to study potions and become some form of Healer or Apothecarist. I'm pharmacy in RL and I guess it's something I'd do in a wizard life, too! *dedication*

Hehehe HIIIIIIIIII I love being bombarded.

1) Schrucklenoofer is a place far far away... the best thing about living there? It has the best company and midnight practices. I cannot say any more than that, though. XD
2) Hehe yay! I liked him as a child, but the Christopher Nolan trilogy reawoke that childhood interest and since then I've been reading the comics and I like the stories as well as the films. It's good stuff!
3) Eeeeeep cute, no it should not concern you at all as she is a fantastic character.
4) I'm super busy recently, but what I do with FF is take an afternoon and catch up on lots at once. Sort of cheating, I suppose? But DO sit somewhere comfy, anyway. You should always sit somewhere comfy, if given the choice.
5) Most weird thing... I don't know? My life is a barrel of weird things. XD Sometimes I sit back and think "woah, how weird". Today I went around a group of 70 and did a pseudomagic trick, does that count as weird? I think it does. XD
6) Well that's simple - I'd say THANK YOU, then pop them into some water at my earlier convenience. I'd also become best buds with that stranger (okay not really that bit... heh)

Hi Tonya, nice to meet you! I think my fictional place to visit would be similar to many on this website - Hogwarts!! However, a more realistic place to travel would be to the wizarding world of Harry Potter! It looks so amazing and I wanna see it allllllllll!

There's lots of movies I watch on lazy weekends, the batmans and transformers films in particular, but also Potter, Stealth, Disturbia, INCEPTION, We Bought a Zoo, etc... Oh wait you said a favourite. Erm. XD all of them.

My couch? I dunno if it'd be THAT comfy, though I am sat on it now so it's being used. and that's definitely MIKE as in Mike Wazowski.

YAY that sounds like a fantastic plan! Potterheads4lyf, yo!

Umm I'm actually not so 'active' in many fandoms other than Potter. Linkin Park would be the closest thing to it... I'm a huge fan of batman and spider-man (both films and comics) so I guess they could work, too.

Do I like Nutella? Serious question, who doesn't.

I try to treat the books and films as two separate entities as otherwise I could continually moan that the film did something wrong. I like watching the films, but the books won my heart all those years ago, so I must say the books!

I have never intended to meet the cast. I've bumped into Matthew Lewis a few times (we're local), though.

Hi Jessie! It's funny, the reason I started to RP was because I loved stalking CoMC classes, and I had the Fantastic Beasts book so I always wanted to show off and get points... and prove I was right. I'm a Ravenclaw, afterall, brains are mighty important to us.

There aren't any other fandoms I RP with, though... Nowadays, I rarely even RP here!

Well, Emily, I do LIKE Loki plenty, but I would be with the Avengers. I'd like to believe that Tony Stark would adopt me as his future protege.

Lmao, yes we were classmates at Hogwarts. Nope, we just happen to have this thing where he's where I am and vice versa.

I didn't really care where I was placed all those years ago, but I WAS pretty happy to be in Ravenclaw. As for if I resorted... You'll love this - Hufflepuff. I could be a Slytherin, probably not a Gryffindor, but Hufflepuff would probably be the next thing for me.
