Sophie Melita walked into one of the empty dungeon rooms and with a save of her wand, cheered the place up a bit. The floor was covered in grass green carpet, the walls were painted blue with clouds which moved, and the ceiling was a bright yellow. Two desks appeared in the middle of the room and held several potted plants and a plate of cookies on each. She smiled, broadly and nodded her approval of the room before sitting in a comfy chair behind one of the desks to wait for Terry. | |

Terry received Miss Melita's owl and followed him down to the appointed room. She walks in to find the cheeriest room she has ever seen in the dungeon area. "Miss Melita, you have outdone yourself. I don't think there is a room at Hogwarts that can compare to this one. Terry walks into the room and takes a seat behind the desk. By the way how did the cookies turn out that we baked in potions class? I know alot of the students found the exercise boring, but I thought it was a novel way to teach the basis of potion making. |

Sophie smiled brightly at the student and wondered why Miss Leiden had given such a lovely person detention. "Oh, they were wonderful and I'm glad you enjoyed class. I have to admit that I've never given a detention before... Berty, that is to say, Mr. Borr, gave one for me a few weeks ago but, I really have no idea what to do. Have you received detention before?"

Terry meekly smiled at Miss Melita. This was going to be alot more fun than detention with Professor McAiken. "I have to admit I have had detention on one or two other occasions. Of course I was in no way responsible for the deeds I was accused of, but being a lady, well, I'm sure you know it's impolite to argue with one's teachers, so I did my detention without complaining. I believe Professor Airlia usually requires the students in her detentions to help her with her potion supplies. You know cutting thing up and cleaning out old bottles, that kind of thing. What do you have planned for our next potions class? Perhaps I could help you prepare the ingredients for it?" Terry placed her bag next to her chair making sure the contents were not visible. "Miss Melita, I was wondering if I had some free time if I could work on some of my extra home work for Transfiguration. I'm suppose to take my OWL's this term, and well, Professor McAiken has informed me there is going to be a special section for students interested in applying to the Department of Mysteries when they graduate. I am seriously thinking about a career in that department, so I need to ace that part of my OWL's. With everything going on at school right now, I haven't had much time to work on it." | |

"Oh, I think that would be just fine. Punishment should never interfere with one's studies, in my opinion. Feel free to go ahead and work on your Transfiguration and if there's anything I can do to help you, don't hesitate to ask. I can get you books from the library, even should you require them," Sophie smiled; this detention was going rather well.

Terry couldn't understand Miss Melita's eagerness to help her with her "project". She was starting to feel bad about deceiveing her. Terry knew darn well everyting she had told her was a lie, but she need to perfect these magical orbs if she was ever going to be able to use them to spy on Miss Leiden and the others. "Your sure this is alright. I mean, I don't want to get you in trouble with Miss Leiden, but it would be a big help to me." Terry proceeds to get out about three orbs from her bag along with her wand and the journal she had been keeping to record her progress. It had been rather slow. So far, she had managed to get the orbs up to where they would take the recording spell, but when she tries to apply to playback spell, the orb shatters into a million pieces. She started to reread her notes when she realized she hadn't completely answered Miss Melita's questions. "I appreciate you offering to get some books from the library, but it doesn't have any that cover this subject. It is somewhat of a secret. Professor McAiken offered to help me with it, but he had to go out of town on one of his mysterious meetings. I am planning to work on it some more myself before he returns from London. Then hopefully he will be able to advise me as to what I am doing wrong.

ooc: Sorry I haven't been around, you've been here forever so, I'm going to let you go now.  Sophie nodded, very happy that one of the students was taking her into their confidence. Perhaps she was making some friends among the students after all... She glanced up at the clock on the wall and gave a short gasp of surprise. "Oh my! We've been here for quite some time. I'm certain you've served an appropriate amount of time, though I really can't understand why Miss Leiden would need to send a bright and mature student such as yourself to detention," she shrugged and stood, holding out a tray of cookies. "Would you care for a cookie before you go?" The two made their way out of the dungeon.
