Upon entering this large classroom, it is very obvious what its purpose is. This room is dedicated to teaching Muggle and Wizard Music and is used by members of both the Frog Choir and Orchestra. Instrument cases of all shapes and sizes as well as rows of music stands with accompanying stools fill the inside of this room. In the front, a conductor's stand is positioned in between a polished black piano and a complete drum set.
For many at Hogwarts, students and adults alike, this is one of their favourite places inside the castle. At various hours throughout the day, wonderful music is made and you get to take a break from anything overly theoretical and hone your musical talents. Fortunately for those in Transfiguration or in other parts of the castle, your marvelous melodies cannot disturb them for the room is completely soundproof. So play as loud as you want! This space can also be reserved after scheduled class hours if you and your friends have formed a band and need somewhere appropriate to practice.

The Music Room happened to be the spot Jude spent a lot of his time recently. Well, the Room of Requirement and assorted unused classrooms too where he practiced his dancing with Reagan and where he helped her with her drama practice. But the Music Room was the only place he got to play the piano.
Today, after walking the Grounds with Keigh, Jude had made his way to the Room to throw himself into an hour or so of playing. The only thing was he ran into Lisa. “Oh… er, hi, Lisa.’’ He was about to head right for the piano, not really wanting to talk but her face… something held him back. Studying her, he thought she looked very occupied. “What's wrong?”

“I … I didn’t know that…”
She didn’t know he played here frequently. She didn’t know he would be so good. She didn’t know… she paused at his quietness…- and then his answers she looked to him to answer.

Jude was taken aback. This was not the Lisa he knew. What happened to that happy, hyper girl who had offered him advice about others taking advantage of his kind nature? He let his dark brown gaze remain on her face, silently questioning the weird treatment he was receiving. If anything, he was a little hurt. Okay, not a little. A good deal. Darn him being an empath.
He could think of a few things he wanted, one in particular but he couldn't. How could he? That decision hadn't been up to him. And that decision had everything to do with why he had taken up more refugee in the Music Room this year. "At this moment? I just want to know why you're being different with me." Something he hadn't realised until this meeting.

And then she flushed even more red after the confession. “Not in a i like you way but in a… I appreciate you?” She was making this weirder wasn’t she? “Im.. uh imma be quiet right now cause awkward.” And with that she made a turtle with her hands and her thumbs imitated the flippers. They went in opposite directions!

Of all the things Jude expected to hear, those words were certainly the least expected. At least one Nam noticed, a small voice in his head said. His lips twitched upwards. “Why, thank you, my fair lady.” He was relieved. For a horrible, heart-wrenching moment he thought that Lisa had started to despise him because of the situation with her brother. Even though he and Evan were still friends, their friendship wasn’t the same as before. Jude had made the decision to give Evan his space so that Evan can process the pent up emotions that were finally starting to take over.
Jude, dividing his attention between the piano and Lisa, tapped out a very short melody. “Thank you for appreciating me, Lisa. I appreciate you too. You know that, right?” Contrary to Lisa feeling weird or awkward, the Hufflepuff did not. He was good at that, keeping his emotions in check when he wanted or needed to. Lisa’s turtle earned her a chuckle. “Don’t worry about it. I don’t think you’re being weird or anything. We all get our brain and mind frazzled every once in a while.” Trust him. His was currently in that state still. "You're more like a fairy princess than an awkward turtle, anyway."
OHH.
Love life trouble, huh? “That question, Lisa, is one I was all too familiar with.” Jude dragged a hand through his brown hair which had grown longer over the last few weeks. Strands nearest to his forehead flopped against the right side of his face, brushing his cheek. “I’m going to answer this from my perspective. When I found out he liked someone else, well… I encouraged him to go on the date even though it felt like my heart had stopped beating and shriveled up. I know, I know. You might think that I’m stupid or that I’m too kind but when you really care about someone, all that matters is that they’re happy. If Evan was going to be happy dating Valentina, then so be it.” Even though he hadn’t found out until recently the two had settled on being friends.
Also, this was the first time Jude admitted to Lisa about whom he was attracted to.

Her cheeks turned scarlet once more. "I'm a fair... warrior princess." she corrected. Lisa didn't see herself as a lady no matter how hard she tried... She just.... She didn't know. Feelings were weird.
He was very generous with her. After her weird comment (well with what she THOUGHT was weird and all), sh felt calmer now after he told her that she was like a princess. "Is it cause I float when I walk?" she teased with a smirk before becoming serious. She tilted her head to the left at his comment, trying to figure out how exactly to reply. In the end, she decided just to offer him a smile. "Thanks."
She was nodding along to his commentary, listening and taking notes. However, Lisa's mind starting working when Jude said he. It ran through a million possibilities wondering just who HE was and then ....She didn't even have to ask.
Her eyes widened.
She gaped.
Lisa Nam was rendered speechless for the second time this year.

Jude chuckled. In truth, he always thought Lisa of a ‘little lady’ no matter what she may think of herself. “Warrior princess it is. But you could be both and there would be nothing wrong with that.” Anyone could be whatever they want to be after all. And how could anyone NOT be generous with Lisa? There was something special about her, something that reminded him of his younger sister Keighley. “That and you’ve got the entire look and personality.” The Hufflepuff smiled back. Remember a few moments ago how he was so worried he had done something to offend her? Well now he felt better; he seemed to be in the clear. “Any time.” He meant it about being there for her; Jude was that type of friend.
Yes, Jude had casually mentioned Evan. He hadn’t been sure if Ev had told either of his sisters of this but judging now of Lisa’s reaction, he got his answer. To fill the silence that befell them, Jude shrugged. On the outside, he would appear indifferent but on the inside, it was a whole other situation. The fourth year nodded then added quickly, “Not that it matters. Ev doesn’t think of me in that way.” He tried his utmost and failed miserably to keep the bitterness out of his voice. In an effort to turn the conversation back to Lisa, Jude asked, “Are you having issues too with all these teenage angsty feelings?” This was just a hazardous guess based on her earlier question, plus he hadn't meant to steal the spotlight from her.
