Good evening students. I would like to begin with my congratulations going out to you who have been chosen for your house as their champions. You have all be anxiously awaiting the final portion of the HIT tournament and I am happy to bring it to you. First the rules:

1. The task is to be completed by the group as a whole, but only the group, any student not involved by selection into the HIT that helps the group will result in point deductions from your teams score and/or detention.

2. The task will take place over the next week or so, remember that time is very important.

3. Points will be awarded for completion, speed is key, first team to finish wins 40 points, second receives 30 points, third receives 20 points and fourth receives 10 points.

4. If you post an answer and you do not receive a clue within a timely manner look at your answer, no clue means a wrong answer.

Instructions for completing task 3:

1. The task is a series of clues and questions hidden throughout the snitchseeker.com website.

2. Later this evening a thread will appear in your house common room entitled HIT Task 3 clues and answers. Here you will find your first clue.

3. The clues contain hints as to where the questions have been hidden. Read them carfully because some may point you in more than one direction if you don't pay attention.

4. Once you have figured out the clue and find the correct thread you will find an HIT icon like this, . This icon will appear in the first post of the thread. It is there to help guide you along. If you think you have gotten the right thread but the icon is not present then you are in the wrong place.

5. Once you are in the right thread you must search the entire thread to find a question pertaining the world of Harry Potter that we have all grown to love thanks to dear JKR herself. Once you have the answer to this question please post your answer and the thread and page number in the thread in your common room for the HIT Tournament. Also you must PM gill_boo, cassirin, and Jennifer_W the judges of the task that an answer has been posted.

6. The first judge to receive the post will go to the thread check that the answer is correct and will then post the next clue.

7. If you have any questions please feel free to PM me.

Questions already asked?

Do the questions stand out from regular post typing? Yes, they look exactly like the clues. Same size, same font.
