Professor Phoenix was sitting outside the greenhouse today, enjoying the early morning sunshine as the first students approached. She nodded at them, waiting outside for all students to arrive. "You may go in already," she said and smiled.

Riiya rubs her two hands together trying to keep them as warm as possible. "i should have brought my mits..." she said to herself.

she then looks around the greenhouse. it was beginning to fill up...

riiya suddenly nodded her head to herself and turned to Caroline. "save me a place here ok. im going back to the dormitory to get my mits..."

Riiya rushes out of the door. "sorry professor, im cold. im going to take my mits. i'll be back as soon as i can..."

Riiya runs to the castle entrance...

Professor Phoenix came back inside, wiped her already chalk-covered hands on her apron and took out one of the pots from the stack on her desk. She bent down to grab a handfull of soil from a package under her desk and put it into the pot.

“Before we start, there are a few notes to take. Today, we will be working with Norandolas. These plants are not dangerous, but very interesting and very useful. Some students that have already been with us for a while,” Professor Phoenix said, looking at some a little disappointed fourth years, "may already know this plant. You can chose to stay, or also use the free period, my dears."

She opened the small, wooden box that was standing on her desk and levitated a pearly-white seed out with her wand, letting it fall onto her hand.

“It is first of all important to know that Norandolas are very complex, sensible plants. Depending on who put them into the soil, they develop differently. So it has to get a feel of who the person is that is holding it.”

She prodded the bean lightly with the tip of her wand. It started glowing at once. Then she buried the seed into the soil and waited for her students to finish taking their notes on the Norandola plant.

Wait, so professor, since you planted it the Narandolas was gleaming because you planted it... so say for example if I planted it, it might not do that?!

Serena finishes taking notes and then raising her hand says, "Professor, when you say it gets the feel of the person holding it, is there some way to determine how the plant will react to each person? ... a pattern of some sort that coincides with our own personalities?"
