| | |  Charms 1: Going UP!
Oh, it was EARLY. Piers had never been much of a morning person, but he had to at least pretend he was while he was at Hogwarts. He much preferred having his classes in the afternoon, but he had drawn the short end of the stick this term with a morning class.
Yawning with a bit of a groan, Piers made his way to the Charms classroom to start the lesson. Tiredly, he shuffled his feet to the classroom door and opened it up, yawning AGAIN as he shuffled inside.
CLANG. BANG. THUD.
"OW. WHAT THE -"
Immediately upon entering the room, Piers smashed his foot into something, tripped over the unknown object and then tumbled to the floor, crashing into MORE unknown objects on his way down.
On the floor, Piers looked around to see what had caused him to trip and found..... chairs, desks, books and props strewn about the room. The desks were all out of their normal order, some sideways, some upside down. The chairs were all out of sorts, too - some upside down, some tossed on top of the askew desks.
Piers sat up quickly and blinked, processing what he was seeing. The entire classroom had been ransacked??? But what..... who? And WHY.
UGH. OOC: Hello everyone and welcome to Charms class! Things are a bit different this time around.  Have your school character come in and see the damage and.. maybe help Professor Fuller-Thompson off the floor?
Class will officially begin in 24 hours! CLASS HAS BEGUN!!!! Class Progression:

With the force of the impact stopping them both midair, gravity decides to take over as Serena feels herself plummeting back down the ground of the charms classroom
"Molliare!" She casts with a point of her wand on the floor directly below her. She lands with a soft thud, but unhurt nonetheless.
She then glances over to the second year Slytherin, Violet, she believes her name was, that she had just crashed into and asks "I'm so sorry 'bout that! Are you alright?"

Merlin, how embarrassing!! "Yes, I'm fine." Or as fine as she had been before the collision, if you could call being exhausted and bruised and frustrated fine. "So sorry, my fault entirely. I think I'm starting to lose my concentration after doing this half a dozen times or so."
Violet glanced down to check herself for damage and to her surprise, she saw a very small key struggling feebly in her left hand. She must have grabbed onto it reflexively to try to keep from falling; she hoped she could manage to get it back in her basket. "Molliare--I don't know that one yet. That would have come in handy all those times I was landing before." Violet looked around for her basket as she talked to the girl--Serena, her name was, a fellow Slytherin. And a fourth year, maybe only about a year older than Violet was.

At the absolute absurdity of the situation, there was nothing else that Serena could do but laugh. And not just the soft, demure kind of laughter, but the full on belly, laugh-out-loud kind of laugh.
"Oh Merlin!" She exclaimed in between breathless giggles "No, no need to be sorry. You probably saved me more than I saved you! Your collision broke my steady rise to the ceiling!"
She stood up from the floor, picked up her still empty basket and dusted her robes off before reaching out a hand to help Violet up "Oh! I could teach you the charm if you'd like! Its a handy charm to have in your arsenal!" She then glanced down towards her still empty basket and asked "In return, could you help me with the Ascendio charm? I'd really rather not go zooming up the ceiling again. I imagine it would hurt rather bad."
