 Once you've given The Fat Lady the correct password, you'll enter the Gryffindor common room. On one side of the room is the game room; on the other is the gymnasium. At the back of the room are two spiral staircases leading to the dormitories: boys to the left, girls to the right. Two lion statues sit on either side of each staircase. Don't forget to give them a pat before heading to bed; you're sure to get a roar or a purr in return!
The circular space is decorated in the signature Gryffindor colors of scarlet and gold, and there are plenty of plush armchairs, sofas, and beanbags for lounging. The room's most prominent feature is a fireplace; over its mantel hangs a portrait of a lion. A large portrait of the house's founder Godric Gryffindor adorns the back wall. Several other tapestries and paintings depicting animals and famous Gryffindor alumni decorate the walls - who knows? You may even find some of the famous Harry Potter himself! There's also a plaque and a bulletin board on one side of the room. Don't forget to read up on important announcements!
this room is your home away from home during your time heare at Hogwarts. So, relax, take a load off!

Ah... the common room, a place where she felt at home and safe. It was quite sad that this was thr only place she felt safe at, but it was true. With the school turning into a military school, she was scared she was going to lose all the nice Professor's. Walking into the common room she sighed happily at the warmness surrounding her.Ah... heat she was freezing! Why was she so cold? Oh... that's right she was freezing her lioness tail off in DADA lessoms and Divinations!
Walking to the fire she started warming her hands up she seen a boy her age. " Oh...I'm sorry, I didn't see you I needed to warm my hands up they're freezing!"

Ryan hadn't been enjoying his experience at the school much, he was in fact hating it. What was worse was his day was now getting worse as someone spoke to him. He just wanted to go home and he wanted to go home now. Hogwarts was nothing like it had been in the brochure.
"Hi there." Ryan weakly smiled. "I know, I spend most of my time here because I just think it's so warm and cosy here." Ryan looked around. "Well compared to the other parts of the castle it is."

Tippin didn't like cleaning in this Common Room. The studentsies in here were normally too loud.
Still, there was cleaning to be done!
The little house elf got to work dusting the mantel. Thanks to his little legs, he had to jump to reach the top though.

The "new" Professors or Crazy Old Man's cronies seemed to like patrolling the halls more and randomly interrupting conversations between students. This was becoming a very dangerous situation. A very dangerous situation for all of them if they let out their true thoughts. Chase found it harder every day to hide his true feelings towards their new Headmaster but he would have to persevere.
As he walked into the Common Room, he found a house elf working on dusting. "Hello!" he said with a smile.
