| | | Slytherin Table For those who belong in Slytherin House, on the right side of the Great Hall is where your table awaits. Green banners containing an embroidered silver snake float above the polished table in honour of the cunning Salazar Slytherin. Already placed on the tables are silver plates with accompanying cutlery and goblets. All that is missing right now are the mountains of food and pitchers containing your favourite beverages.
Though your stomach might be growing as you take a seat on one of the long benches next to the table, it is important to not get hangry -- gnawing your arm away or jabbing your fork repeatedly on the surface of the table will do no good whatsoever. Give everyone some time to get settled in and wait for Headmistress Hawthorne to deliver her speech. Keep yourself preoccupied by catching up with your fellow housemates or those who are visiting from the other tables until it is time to sink your teeth into the hearty and delicious meal prepared by the house-elves.

| Sarah thinks I'm cute | Shan's safe space.
"He’s… Yeah, he’s getting there," Felicity answered Junia, her eyes also looking over to Diego. Her heart still twinged a little when she thought about his injuries, and she was still cautious with her affections, afraid of hurting him too much. "I think he’s just ready to get the trip started, you know?" She was excited herself, really - weeks away with her best friends, in the sun, on the sea, exploring new places and just remembering that life could be amazing. That, and she was looking forward to seeing Diego captain his yacht, watching him in his element.
Deep Like was definitely a thing.
Leaning against Junia as the brunette hugged her arm, Felicity was glad for the reassurance. She nodded before turning her attention to the other girls - noting Kye’s arrival and offering her a smile - and their answers to Junia’s question.
A wry smile crossed her lips as she shook her head in response to Vivian’s answer, reaching a hand across the table to squeeze the other blondes. "Don’t be ridiculous," she said. Sure, spending years occupying the same space did have it’s problems, it’s hiccups and odd fallings out, but after all of it, they were still friends. "That sounds like a lot of fun." Skylar got a smile, and if Felicity wasn’t feeling nervous and excited about her own plans, she might have felt a little guilty at turning down Skylar’s offer - for the second year in a row. "I appreciate it, but I - we’re -" she corrected herself, indicating Junia, "spending time on Diego’s boat. Maybe we could meet up, though?" After all, they’d be seeing Europe, too, so there was no reason why they couldn’t arrange to be in the same city at the same time.
Turning to the presence of Professor Marchand, Felicity found herself overcome with emotion, and had to swallow hard before she could speak. "Thank you," she eventually managed, her voice quiet - the idea that he would do something so generous when she’d not been taught by him for nearly as many years as the others (starting in fourth year had made her feel like less of a Hogwartian on many occaisons) was overwhelming, and as she accepted the gift she found herself at a loss of any more words.
